Fantastic pianists! They both have grown up with music and naturally learned to love it and now they are renowned throughout the world! We want them to come to Canada! Also as brothers they are close friends and both play together as well as play solo.
Compare this recital with the later one in South- Korea and you can experience the development of these incredible talented Dutch brothers. This performance is just a bit to slow; in Korea however they found the exact tempo to play this marvellous peace of Schubert and at the same time they play it in an unimprovable simultaneously, superior way.... This piece is a delicate and beautifull dream, nicely performed by these boys. For me, only Imogen Cooper and Paul Lewis have a so good interpretation.

Heel goed, maar de bastonen zijn te beleefd, schuchter, gespeeld. Schubert was in zijn diepste zelf geen aangepaste burgerman. Hij was voor de buren net zo tegendraads als Beethoven, een romanticus in de kunstgeschiedenis.
