    The guy who said he still thinks of her as his girlfriend, how adorable is that??? Also, there was one guy almost at the end who has been married for a long time, he said "It gets better all the time" I don't want to hear people say men are all the same, because it's so obvious they're not! There's still plenty of good ones out there :)

    The man in the 18 yr couple: “ I don’t get mad anymore. There’s no time it’s not worth it.” Me: “You are so smart. That’s why your marriage has lasted a long time and it’ll continue to last long👏🏾”

    Please make a video like this but about finances! I'd love to see options and how different married couples manage their money. As in do they completely combine their money or how they keep it separate if they do, etc.

    My husband and I have been together for 17 years. We got married this year.
    Honestly, for us, nothing has changed. I guess because we're so used to each other.
    I love him so much, and I'm glad that I chose him in life. He makes me better.

    Marriage frightens me 😅 my parents were married for 17 yrs there marriage was so terrible .. they got 3 sepreations and then got a divorce and remarried and then got divorced again but this time its for good .

    • @roshnikhader5661

      well not all marriages are perfect,but you can definitely learn from your parents and try to be better, i have a friend who has divorced parents and her father advised her never to get married but said she can be in a live in relationship, but that's the worst advice a parent could give their child i guess, you can always find someone who is your soulmate but not necessarily that they have to be perfect, you can still get married and live forever with them is all i'm trying to say. don't lose hope, be yourself and you will find someone:)

    Marriage only gets like this when you, not your spouse, you do everything to be the best thing your spouse could want.

  • @tampistash15
    @tampistash15 5 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    Honestly.... I do all that even if I'm not married. It feels like a marriage. Isn't that enough? Why do two people "have" to get married to make it official? Nah... If it doesn't feel official after 7 years then idk if I'd be with my boyfriend tbh.

    • @heliaalves9062
      @heliaalves9062 5 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      They don't "have" to marry, but the level of commitment is not the same. A man who gets on his knee, offers you a ring, is willing to say "I do" in front of all of his family and friends is much more invested in you, loves you way more than a man who simply lives with you. It is very different.

    • @tampistash15
      @tampistash15 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@heliaalves9062 I respect your view on that. But in my opinion. When you know he's the one and he respects you and your family and treats you like his wife and life time partner and you know he will be with you for the rest of your lives. That's all I need to feel at peace. If we were to get married though I don't mind it. We both wear rings like we are anyways. I don't like getting proposed out in the open. We are a couple of introverts when it comes to our relationship. I personally don't like the idea of a wedding, that's mostly for the family rather than the couple. I don't need a fancy ring. I don't mind having a honeymoon and getting married by the ocean with just immediate family members as witnesses and the notary when the time comes. I just personally don't know why it has to be such a huge show to make it official. Usually... Not all the time.... But the ones who make the biggest show.... Is usually just a show and are miserable deep down. Of course not always. But to each their own. That's what I live by and I hope to be happy in my own way. I just hate the idea of society pushing marriage down peoples throats. It's not for everyone. I feel like if a relationship lasts a certain amount of time and your still happy.... That's enough for me. :)

    • @heliaalves9062
      @heliaalves9062 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@tampistash15 you have certainly made your point, I totally agree with what you have written and I completely understand, even if I wouldn't personally feel the way you feel. When I talk about marriage, ostentation is the last thing on my mind. The vows taken before God and before the whole world are what counts. You need to be 100% sure that's the one, you don't get to sort of tag along and see where it goes, see if there's still love after a few years. It's the "forever" bond of love, knowing that person belongs to you and will undoubtedly walk beside you your whole life, until you're both grey and old. It's knowing for sure you're someone's favourite person and that person is sure no one else will do. I guarantee you my views on marriage have nothing to do with what others think, or how to impress them. I understand your position, if you feel that way then you should always do you! All the best
