Lea Marye Lots off people don’t want honeymoons. Lots don’t go on honeymoons. I personally would rather put a down payment on a house or payoff school then take a vacation and have my first mementoes with my husband be in some place I’ll never go to again. House sounds like an amazing idea. After thinking about a down payment or buying a house instead of a honeymoon I found out that my best friends parents bought a house with the “honeymoon found” they haven’t regretted it one day sense. Totally won me over. I was already thinking about it but seeing what they have done sense with money and buying houses really convinced me. I would rather put the money towards something useful instead of some random vacation spot,

My parents story is so sweet. My dad was in the army and my mom was on a trip in Korea and friends introduced them even though my mom could only speak Russian, and my dad proposed to her a week later from a Russian dictionary!❤️ They spent 3 years waiting to get married until my mom gathered enough funds to move to America, and they got married the day she came back.

My boyfriend asked me out earlier this week. We had already gotten very close as friends these past few months and in addition to showing all the signs that he liked me, he began to want to spend every day with me and see me all the time.
Being in denial and having low self-esteem, I didn’t think there was any way that he liked me at all. But he treated me so well and accepted all my physical contact (beyond friend-level). One night, earlier this week, he and I were sitting on the couch in my place and staying up late. I had been making a lot of comments that were kind of direct and showed that I really liked him, but I hadn’t said anything explicitly stating so yet.
He had to leave but he didn’t want to. He just kept sitting there and there was this different mood. I felt like something was gonna happen so I acted. I asked him what he was thinking about and he paused. Then he said nervously, “I don’t know, I like you.” And then he smiled and looked ahead. After my jaw dropped open a bit, he quickly said “as a person”.
I had to fish the rest of the confession out of him at the risk of making things weird, but it found its way out in the end. Then I told him the whole story of how I came to like him and everything has been snowballing from there. I had liked him for a while and then tried really hard to get him to like me, and it worked well. I’m happy! Yesterday he didn’t want to leave me so he spent the night. He was so respectful of my space.

Depends where you live. Your perception of how old a person is might change. As someone who lives in Asia, I would think she's 35+ and the husband 40+. And I would think a 14 year old white American (I said white because there are Asian American citizen) is 18. Most Asian People would think "Oh. They look so mature for their age." So yeah. Different genes.

@Michael Myers there is. Look into in. Black and Asian people have more elasticity in their skin which makes the effects of aging less aparrent on us. And also having more melanin reduces the appearance of aging as well. But white people lack the protein that allows for more elasticity and lack melanin. So you guys generally show the effects of aging sooner. But this isnt bad. I personally like the look of an older man and my bf actually is an older white man lol. And taking good care of your skin in general will reduce signs of aging, even if youre white. And taking horrible care of you skin, will increase signs if aging, even if youre black or Asian

I did not ask out my husband's, he asked out me. October before last I had caught wind Through the Grapevine that he wanted to take me out on a date, and I just didn't know him very well so I said no and through the grapevine he heard it that I had said no. Fast forward a few months later it's March and I saw him at church after he had been missing for several weeks and I said it's good to see you back in church, and then he just ask me out he said if you ever want to go on a date with me the offer is still on the table. And I said I don't know. And then in may we ended up going on our first date together for my 18th birthday and he was so sweet and he got me a wonderful gift. And now March 2019 we've been married for 4 months! And I'm loving it!

The couple married for 4 years. He was on America’s got talent and purposed to his wife on stage after he moved on to the 2nd round. His video is also on TH-cam and he has an awesome voice like you won’t except. I’m happy for them.
My grandpa apparently made these cards, basically stating his name, profession, phone number etc, and handed these cards out to women he saw and thought was pretty. He would give the card and say something like "I would like to introduce myself to your family if you please."
Apparently, at the time the women immediately understood that he was trying to court them but do it in a family approved way.. Grandpa says he has been to 30 houses, met families and never really liked any of them before meeting my grandma. Grandma saw him and said yes at first sight. It helped that grandpa was very handsome and had a great job, he was an engineer. Grandpa sees her walking down the street, gives her the card, her dad calls the number to say "Ok, come over so we can meet you,", grandpa meets her family before even knowing her name and proposes. She says yes. Weird and creepy by today's standards. Apparently a super gentlemanly but kinda hot power move back in the day...
