2020 Advent Day 14 - Eagle Rare 10 Year Bourbon vs Four Roses Single Barrel

Today, #26 overall seed Eagle Rare 10 Year Bourbon squares off against #23 seed Four Roses Single Barrel Bourbon. Can Four Roses Distillery stay in the tournament? Does anybody else taste marshmallows?!?
We're very excited, and a little nervous, to pit 32 bottles from our collection against each other in head-to-head single-elimination blind tastings, in order to crown a 2020 Advent Calendar Whiskey Tournament champion on December 24!

Bought these both together last weekend for my first time trying each. Pretty funny to find a video of a head to head. I like them both quite a bit, and they are VERY different. Biggest problem is eagle rare is never on the shelf

While I'm sad my Four Roses didn't make it to the next round, I'm just as excited to get my hands on a bottle of that Eagle Rare. Sounds delightful.
