Other than the sorrow felt by the tragedy of the plane crash especially that I personally knew one Capt from 87 ComCen, Mr Liwewe finished me completely to a point of feeling as though it happened yesterday due to his feature program on ZNBC sports news on clip shown above as he named the line-up of the deceased. Now I wrote today a week after the death of the Danish Coach R. Pulsin behind the rebuilding of the Mighty Zambia. The 2012 CAF trophy gave more consolation to Mr Liwewe who missed the flight on that fateful day of 1993, but later joined them few years ago but at least with a story to tell them that we finally wone it. Let continue believing fellow country men and women. Especially that ladies football is shaping up well working as a cushion. Go Zambia go... go chipolopolo go shepolopolo
as a zimbabwean, i will wholeheartedly be supporting zambia in the final of afcon. The memory of zambias tragic loss in 1993 still haunts to this day. The zambian team that perished in 1993 was the only team in africa that our beloved 'dream team' from zimbabwe could not beat... every encounter we had with zambia ended in a draw.
19yrs ago is like today thus can't help to stop thing abt our pride, our nation, our players who perished in Gaborn durring plane crash. memories are still very fresh. God grant us peace and love. ONE ZAMBIA, ONE NATION.
That's what I call my best brothers. I was born in kitwe remember watching my brothers playing football .so it very special to watch. as I'am in London for 35 years.memory will always be with me Zambia is my home country. keep up playing football it's in our blood, God bless you all
Couldn't help but drop a tear, thanks for sharing this video, it certainly brings back a lot of cold memories. I was a toddler then but i remember the shock and grief on the faces of dad, my brothers and many other heartbroken soccer fans in the neighborhood. Come Sunday, Chipolopolo will do Zambia and our fallen heroes proud!!! GO ZAMBIA GO!!!
É TRISTE SABER QUE A ZÂMBIA PODERIA SER A SEGUNDA EQUIPE AFRICANA, AO LADO DA NIGÉRIA, A SE CLASSIFICAR PARA AS OITAVAS-DE-FINAL DA COPA DE 1994. POIS TINHA CHANCES REAIS DE CLASSIFICAÇÃO. ABRAÇOS DO POVO BRASILEIRO AO POVO AFRICANO!🤝🤝🏿🇧🇷🇿🇲
There is no touching story like the death of this youngstar, who by now should have been fathers. Zambia nationa Anthem is my favourite national athem of all time. Love from Nigeria
How I love my country without reservation. Whether or not our national soccer team wins or lose, I will forever hold this bewitching country in high regard
RIP to the zambian fallen kings!! it hurts when i see this video but was still young then anyways gud luck to the finals this sunday God be with US!!!!
