Good, honest review. We just got a fully loaded 2021 Q3 Technik for my wife’s daily driver and we love it. Yes, there are some hard plastics in some areas you wouldn’t normally touch, but it’s a decent quality plastic. Trust me, I have seen worse. We cross shopped against the Mercedes GLA, Acura MDX and the Volvo XC40. Out of all these vehicles, the MDX is in a different category based on its size (compact vs sub-compact), and my wife felt it was a little bigger than she wanted. The GLA interior impresses when you see it, but I was left underwhelmed when I really started looking around. The XC40 was nice, but got expensive with all the options we wanted, and we were leary about its reliability based on a friends experience with their Volvo. Anyway, really happy with our choice as this little CUV feels really solid on the road.
