What gos under the bonet is of no importance, what matters is what sells most in each niche/segment. German for engineering enthusiasts, italians for those passionate about speed and design, heritage and automotive history for the very rich looking for a unique and exclusive experience. Example: you sell a V8 branded as audi and call it german quality product. You combine two of them and make a W16, branded it a bugatti and call it the fastest car in the world with the heritage of Ettore Bugatti.
Bugatti are obviously incredible for sure and up on the top of my list of cars ever made (but there's a lot of those now after 100+ years of the automobile) Personally though if I could pick any car and only have one when it comes to modern hypercars, I'd probably go with a Koenigsegg 😬
Just because they have been around for 100 years doesn’t mean there are a lot of them. You’ve probably never seen a Bugatti and you probably never will
Artists? They assemble the cars. They did not even design nor engineer even 1 part of the car. Do you call the people that hang up a Picasso painting at the museum artists?

11RossLeronX: It's closely related the 1980s VW VR6....2 more cylinder added to the bank.....put two of them together.....you have your 16 cylinders done for little money. And just like the VR6 brother the W16 is a very fragile and expensive beast to keep running......a museum piece it what it's really good at. You remember the Big Block Pontiac 4 Cylinder from the 1960s? Pontiac Division made modest alterations to the V8 casting....through the miracle of magic,it became a 4 cylinder....however if you look at the Driver's side of the bottom of engine....you can still see element of the V Configuration.
@Valkyrie 007 These so called "Documentaries" are info-commercials and nothing more. Beyond VW's MAN Truck/Ship Division (which builds dang good Industrial Diesel engines)...their car engines are complete garbage in terms of low-cost maintenance and durability.......expensive repairs/upkeep are a common German trait.....lack of proper engineering and bean-counting.
@Valkyrie 007 NHRA Modified-Stock and Top-Fuel (low-tech) pushrod V8 Dragsters regulary exceed 350mph+ any day of the year. Pushrod V8 Bonnevile Speed-run cars can reach 400mph+ all day long...what Bugatti/Koenigsegg have done is laughable...old and slow.

Bugatti has 16 cylinders
Koenigsegg :hold my 3 cylinders
THANK YOU FOR THE AMAZING DOCUMENTARY!!!
wow the production process of Bugatti supercar is amazing
The diameter of the exhaust pipes really puts into perspective just how powerful the engine is.
The catalytic converter outlets are HUGE. 27:20
I think they make the cats that huge so they are not restrictive like a cat with the same diameter as the rest of the exhaust.
Oh, I thought I saw this documentary a while ago, but no, he’s talking about the 304 mph run
Wow, wow & wow.
Dream car, I wish Bugatti a continued success 🙏
Buggati: I can do 400 km/h
Koenigsegg: hold my Corona
koenigsegg now that is engineering hybrid with yhe simplest yet elegant power train ever concived
Both can 400+km/h
Bugatti = Luxury hypercar
Koenigsegg = Race car
Two different beast with different goals ultimately.
There's a video explaining that the top speed Jesko can potentially go 310+ MPH(~500 KPH)
@@sykohamster Koenigsegg is a road car, there are no racing teams that run Koenigseggs.
they are emissions legal, fully road homolgated, have full luxury interiors, air conditioning, etc., have the things that that you'd find in a modern road car. plus they are their own car company headed by Koenigsegg himself, not by VW or by Fiat.
Thank you for this amazing video, I can't wait very soon to have my own Bugatti Chiron. I be the UK/World 🇬🇧 first Mr Singh to have it!
The Pakistani from Birmingham that does TH-cam videos 'Lord Aleem' has 2 of them and any other super/hyper car in 10 different colours lol 😆
Wow nice tech of all motors.
thats my dream car..sometimes I miss this beauty during daytime..
I've been *_WAITING_* for this!!!
I love your pro pic 🤣
Salute those engineers who made this engineering marvel
"The French created the Bugatti Chiron"
*meanwhile, German guys talk about the Chiron*
French workshop, french builders; German engineers
There's nothing French about this car

hahahahahahahahaha
The same guy was speaking in italian about the aventador when he was ceo in lamborghini. You guys don't get, do you? It's the same guy because lamborghini, bugatti, are all owned by the company that makes the golf. They will say it's an italian car when it's appealing, and they will say it's french when it's appealing, and they will say it's german, when it's appealing.
Same
Just because they have been around for 100 years doesn’t mean there are a lot of them. You’ve probably never seen a Bugatti and you probably never will
@@ashtonjohnston3275 You got it.
Sad so much effort will only be enjoyed by so very few... Excellent production!
What do you mean very few?
Awesome car......French body......German heart.....Italian soul!😁
@OriginalFake ,🤣
It’s an insult to refer to these artists as mere workers.
Just a way to put us all in our place of the scheme of things
Yet subway calls their employees sandwich artists lol 😂
why? they're pretty much just assembly workers with extra training.
Artists? They assemble the cars. They did not even design nor engineer even 1 part of the car.
Do you call the people that hang up a Picasso painting at the museum artists?
Excellent video Welt
i own a Bentley Continental GT and its funny how some thinks are similar to the Bugatti Chiron.
Wish to own a Bugatti one day but i guess there are levels in life haha
Jacinto Reign what do you do for a living?

Can I get this tuned up using "quality" GM parts after?

That's like putting Timex parts into a Rolex. ;-)
PERFECT just PERFECT
9:40 Imagine what it would be like if you called in sick...
“The body is too big to be made entirely of carbon fibre.”
Koenigsegg: Hold my Beer

Owsome cars that made of engineers in France..god bless your country!
27:20 Those are the biggest catalytic converters I've ever seen!!
Their not that big is just the camera angle
The French !
That's like saying the James may is the fastest driver in the world
Well he did get the Veyron up to 407Km/h once. Not a slouch in my book but still, not the fastest.
Molsheim was part of the Holy Roman Empire until 1648, when it found itself located on the French side of the border. Between 1871 and 1919 and again between 1940 and 1944, the German speaking city was part of Germany.
founded in 1909 in the then-German city of Molsheim, Alsace by the Italian-born industrial designer Ettore Bugatti.
Italian
End debate
Great documentary! Sooooo, each of these cars are test driven for 350 kilometers / 217 miles. I wonder if they're delivered to the customer with those miles showing on the odometer? That all black one with the chrome trim and polished wheels is definitely the prettiest one I've seen!
This was awesome. Thank you
“Perfection never accomplished”
Wow
piece of art
Narrator: So far no other vehicle has managed to achieve this outstanding performance
Everyone: laughs in sarcasm
Imagine Bugatti's engine is a Modified version of the Tiger 2 Tank's Engine
looks like an extremely fragile lump of emperors new clothes
Those germans know how to have fun
11RossLeronX:
It's closely related the 1980s VW VR6....2 more cylinder added to the bank.....put two of them together.....you have your 16 cylinders done for little money.
@Valkyrie 007
These so called "Documentaries" are info-commercials and nothing more. Beyond VW's MAN Truck/Ship Division (which builds dang good Industrial Diesel engines)...their car engines are complete garbage in terms of low-cost maintenance and durability.......expensive repairs/upkeep are a common German trait.....lack of proper engineering and bean-counting.
@Valkyrie 007
NHRA Modified-Stock and Top-Fuel (low-tech) pushrod V8 Dragsters regulary exceed 350mph+ any day of the year. Pushrod V8 Bonnevile Speed-run cars can reach 400mph+ all day long...what Bugatti/Koenigsegg have done is laughable...old and slow.
Great documentary
Yeah, this car is as French as an Oktoberfest )))
The VW W16 engine displacement was a masterpiece right from its first appearance in Phaeton
