I think I might be the only one that still loves this original wrap on the car. I get there’s a theme to this build but I’d love to see that same wrap on a future build or used on merch.
I believe a switch you have to HOLD (release=open) would be better. Now you can activate solenoid with no brake pressure, forget it, go for a drive, hit brake pedal and have no front brakes. No bueno
They have to press the brake pedal to build pressure in the lines which makes the calipers latch on to the rotors. Their on/off button trigger solenoid to hold the brake fluid in that exact spot which is why the wheels lock up. Even if they hit the switch while driving and then hit the brakes they will still have back brakes because it only affects the front brakes. They could easily use the same solenoid and just install a momentary switch which never locks into position on the steering wheel so they could hold it with their thumb and release it without taking their hands off the wheel. If not the steering wheel they could even install a switch down near the pedals so it could be engaged by their left foot.
@@slingingearsburningrubber5759 unless the solenoin operates one way valve (which is rare in these kits), then no. Solenoid activates, closes valve, effectively disconnecting front brake pistons from brake master cylinder/booster. Whatever the position of the front brake piston was at the time of the solenoid activation, thats it. So if you are off brake pedal, in garage, you activate the solenoid , it closes the valve and effectivelly renders your car having only rear brakes. Which is maybe good enough in a parking lot, but front brakes do 70-80% of the work while in a brake zone. Monetary switch (hold to activate, release to instantly deactivate) is standard safety procedure for a reason. You wont forget you are driving in a car without front brakes.
The way it sounds when doing a burnout reminds me of the old slot car electric race track I had as a kid. I would hold the front down and put a piece of paper under the rear wheels to leave burnout marks. It was so fun as a kid
I think this "burnout button" can be really dangerous if applied while driving, because you can't brake anymore/or can't release the brakes anymore. In my opinion it should be a momentary switch that only activates the linelock while holding down the button.

Spray it a pearl pink… I saw this truck once that had pink as a base but the pearl shades where navy blue and purple and the flake was on point as well, best colour combo I’ve seen yet
Will ultimately it should be up to you since you did most of the work. Which is a great build puts a smile on my face watching it. My thoughts would be like a blue with orange accents.

should make the burnout button on a e brake as you pull it towards you it engages the line lock and if you let go the fron wheels are loose so you dont have to look for the button ore somthing on the steering wheel with a momentary switch
Why don’t you on all the panels under the front hood.take trunk carpet and glue down on the panels left and right and center battery cover.while your at it cover the strut towers with carpet also,covers the sledgehammer marks when y’all modified the strut tower.just saying. Good video.👍👍👍😎😎
It’s not meant for AWD vehicles , it’s to apply the brakes to only the front wheels to allow you to do a standing burnout . Depending on if your car has an electric transfer case or mechanical there are options for doing standing burnouts or drifting. Newer cars you can pull the ABS fuse which would allow your main drive wheels to spin without trying to transfer the power to the other wheels but this option only works if you have a RWD bias AWD system. The negative outcome of this option is you will not have anti locking brakes to stop .
Worst case scenario, can you put a hydro for the front ? It'll lock the wheels without having to touch the breaks ? Since putting dual caliper may not be possible you can put a T fitting on the already existing line. Maybe ?
by the time these comments are read im pretty sure they would have decided already. But if not well then i think should go for something basic like a gloss black with carbon and maybe red highlights orrrrrr nardo gray with black and carbon highlights. Those combos just looks so clean and its been a long time since you guys have done colors like that. Or another idea try get a very custom color for the very custom car.
I'm not entirely sure cuz I don't watch every single Channel on TH-cam , but I think the only car build that is taking longer than this . Is Rob Dahm's 4 rotor RX7 , most everything else is done in under 6 months .
Is the paint work gonna get sorted ?? eg drivers door massive scrape that seams to be just painted over. I mean all that precision on all the other details it would just make sense to have the Paint right
