electronic engineer from saudi arabia here thumbs up to my favorite channel EEVblog I check your videos in daily basis and I always recommend my colleague and friends to check your videos. Thanks Dave
There's no issue with ATTINY85 having no reference voltage source anywhere. It has a 1.1/2.56V reference built-in, and it can also measure directly against Vcc - what seems to be the method the Author used for temperature measurement!
From the description of the logger (you skipped that part), it looks as if it will really "type" the data to the PC. So in other words, I guess the logger will appear as a USB keyboard "autotyping". No special software needed (although I don'T know how you change settings then).
There's no video AF on DSLRs, and the shallow depth of field they provide would tend to make the focus problems worse. That said, I agree the Dave's AF was a bit shoddy in this one…
I like that tempature and volt logger now I say get ride of the tempature part and put current so I could use it to loog from 200 amps to 200 volts then it wold be cool as hell.

It's a top of the line Canon HF G10. DSLRs are not suitable for what I do.
"ahhh nice knob.....nice lookin knob" LOL
Just got my ATS3b running yesterday. The rotary encoder would make a good addition to the Ats3b.
The Temperature logger is a nice kit also.

I was going to do that with this one in fact now I have my new soldering camera rig

"mosty" on the postcard is a Polish word for "bridges". They apparently make those postcards with their close neighbors in mind.
You have to go to the 'countries' tab in analytics in order to see all countries.

"mosty" is not "mostly", it's probably Czech for "bridges"
"Pražské mosty" title on the postcard means "Bridges of Prague", it isn't wrong-spelled english word "mostly" :)

The encoder is mechanical, optical ones tend to be a bit bigger.
Siemens S55 cellular phone...was the first one that came with flash for the camera.
*Sarajlija is a person from Sarajevo. Bosnians would suffice I believe ;) Thanks Dave
Well, the most modern DSLRs can shoot very decent video thanks to their giant matrix, and also can have fast/silent focus with proper lenses.
ATtiny85 doesn't have USB; there is a software-based stack that bitbangs low-speed USB. It's called V-USB.
Why don't you do VBlogs in which u solder up these kits and show us what they do?
Probably the logger downloads its data behaving like a usb keyboard. That is why it says you need notepad open.
Now you have a knob for your bench power supply that lacks one, Dave! ;D
Hey Dave. How do you have your camera mounted? Can you post a pic to a link on your camera rigging? Thanks
Are there some issues with your camera? It seems rather blurry at times, or do I need glasses perhaps?
Thumbs up for the same address owned from AUSTRIA!
Weird; TH-cam shows all countries for my Analytics.
Oh no! No ESD protection!
You see the quality of his videos.... "Note the Error blablubb" He realy looks over the plans! NICE!
Open it up and "Czech it out" ;-)
wow, your knife was sharp back then ;)

Camera focus is screwing with my eyes!!
The USB Interface is presumably based on sth. called "V-Usb" (google it)....
Want to get a working S55 to play with? :D
