  • We just received our brand new Discovery 400 inflatable catamaran from True Kit (TrueKit.nz) in just in time for Christmas. After spending most of the day helping the kids put their toys together, it was dad's turn. Can't wait for springtime in the Puget Sound!

Hey bro! Purchase yourself a small ryobi leaf blower, cuts the inflation time down dramatically( and work😅) you can also use it to deflate the boat as well which helps at the end of a trip. I'm only suggesting this as I own a 330 discovery.......... you'll still need to top up the psi with the hand pump as the ryobi isn't powerful enough but that's ok as the ryobi inflates it to a perfect psi to add the seats and floor. Hope this helps you as it certainly helped me because the faster you get the boat pumped the quicker your out enjoying the pleasures of it. Happy and safe boating bro👍.

yo how do you adapt a leaf blower to get air in an inflatable? Seriously interested to know. Thanks

@@maxmouche The Ryobi battery powered leaf blower has a rubber exhaust ( rather than a plastic exhaust) which helps mould around the plug you would normally attach the hand pump hose to. I’ll make a video on how I inflate my discovery 330 and post it in the near future. Hope this helps. Happy and safe boating.

You have got to make a video with you out on the water and do a review on it! Hopefully you got an outboard to put on it too! I might be purchasing this same boat but since the 4m is new there is no other vidoes on youtube about it yet. Hopefully springtime is soon for you. Cheers from Down Under

Thanks for the comment. Will definitely be posting some more videos exploring the Puget Sound later this year (still winter here in the US). I did buy a Tohatsu 20HP outboard so as soon as the weather turns, it's a GO!

Hi Craig. Great video. We’re thinking about buying the 4m. Can you provide the length of the interior area?

How are you enjoying it a year later? Been researching and these just seem like some of the best value out there

Still awesome. Used it 25 times this Summer and it performed great. Got new cupped steel prop and will be putting a hydro-plate on my Tohatsu 20 this year
