Great Boat Craig for non croc areas., Bloody quick set up, I can't run as fast as you anymore. I have given up on boats, dragged them all over the bloody place and the amount of time I used them, I would rather just go out on a fishing charter. Mushrooms yummy one day, dead the next. I only eat Woolies Mushies. You should be very proud of your efforts Craig, Looking forward to seeing the Feathers and Perpetual Transient Decals on the Van, with some Stripes/Decals or something. Register the name too, so no one can pinch it. Cheers
I think any boat solution comes with the same issues if you’re towing a caravan. Setting up a roof topper and fold away trailer would take longer than this in my opinion. I’m conjuring up a DIY project right now for roof topping the inflated boat so can take it from camp to various close-by launch sites as i reckon it’ll get more use if the boat isn’t just reliant on a waters edge camp site
Tell me how long it took to take out and assemble including inflating and how long to pack back down. I can double or triple that to figure out if its worth my rickety old knees.
@@PerpetualTransient thanks mate, I’m considering this boat and motor combo. Just need to research a bit more. Planning on taking the van around Aus, and need a boat. Sadly my roof load limit is 100kg, but I do worry about getting holes in a blow up
The casters on wood block is a great idea! I'm gonna copy that!
Sometimes the simplest thing is the best. I had grand plans of making elaborate trolleys, even bought all the bits, but this seems to work very well.

Thanks jimmy. Hopefully put some fish on the deck soon
Almost the new Bush Tucker Man 🤷🏻♀️😮
Almost in hospital 😵💫
Very neat , where's the fishing gear
Coming soon!
Nice one mate! How long in the end did pack up of the boat take?
It’s actually quick when there’s no hangover 😵
I've seen many of those boat kits lately, do you reckon you will use it often with all set up and packing time after ???

I reckon it’s about 20mins to setup fully. Pack down really depends if it’s wet and muddy. If you can keep it clean it’s about the same to pack down.
@@PerpetualTransient Thanks. Hmmm, might be an option after all.
Any indication of top speed with the 20hp? And do you recommend these boats now?
Approx 20kts with 2 pax, yes definitely recommend
How were the mozzies that trip?
Going to the eel skinners n duck pluckers ball next weekend 😂
Yeh horses. Seems to be a theme for my upcoming vids too. I heard eel skinners has moved down to carranballac
@@PerpetualTransient yeah I seen that. You going 🤠
Nah too old
@@PerpetualTransient haha 😆, yeah same boat here. I'm getting up when these young one's going to bed.
Out of interest, what’s the internal dimension of your tool box door that allows for the motor to fit?
520x730mm. It could be 100mm narrower and still fit though. It’s tight on height but could use smaller casters too

It seems super strong. And easy to repair on the fly. Won’t sink unless you put multiple holes in different spots too.
For me testing it on the ocean is a real test on a lake not much of a test tho
Have you tried the Great Lakes? Lost count of how many ships have sunk on these bodies of water due to weather and other issues.
How's it holding up?
It’s great.
@@PerpetualTransient Im ordering mine asap..
