I feel like Halsey is a really polarizing figure on the internet but I'm not keyed into the Twittosphere well enough to know why. Anyway my point is it's nice to see someone with a clean slate react to her and come away with positive reactions because to me, I've felt similar to what you've said, that in her music and persona there's a lot of grappling with big and important issues and it's a vulnerable position but she does it really well. If you liked these songs I feel like you would also appreciate the music from her first album as well, I think it's actually even a little blunter in tone than her second album (maybe a kind of "putting it 100% out there on the line, no holds barred" debut bravado - especially 'Hold Me Down' and 'Control' in my opinion, musically as well as lyrically.)

I have a tattoo inspired by her song Hurricane that she released on her first EP, Room 93. There’s a lot to Stan here, Bill! She’s an exceptional artist and creator!
She has such a big place in my heart, I saw her a week ago for the first time and I cried instantly. She sounds exactly the same live and has incredible presence 🖤🖤 I'm so glad you love her
Welcome back! Please do more Halsey, the deluxe edition of her debut album Badlands is great! Also, please, I beg of you, do an episode for Hozier. His music is transcendent.
you're the only man (i've come across) that has reacted to Nightmare and actually understood the lyrics and the meaning behind it and been able to express your thoughts on this topic
I love how this guy is not afraid to be honest about how he feels. I love watching him discover music that I already love and getting to see all of the feelings I have for that music play out in his face. It’s very refreshing hearing him put words to the feelings I have when I listen to these songs.
So glad you got to experience Halsey lol! Part 2? Her older stuff is also really good such as ghost ( there are two music videos one where she is with a woman and one with a man. We love a bi queen), new Americana, her albums hopeless fountain kingdom, and badlands, and her song strangers ft. Lauren Jauregui.
I cried like a baby the first time I heard finally/beautiful stranger, mainly because I instantly knew who the song was about and was so happy it was such a beautiful and honest song for a beautiful person. I loved your reaction to it ❤ I would love to know if that was her original idea for the video, being such a visual person,if she had an Idea when she first wrote it and then the relationship changed and she changed it.. I still love it as it's the happy/sad, not totally knowing what you should feel when you listen to it ,that she does so well. We're seeing her in Manchester in march, with my 8year old.. it's her first arena experience after her first festival last summer and an intimate gig with Yungblud in November. She's well ant truly hooked! I'm glad you liked Halsey. Thanks for reacting.
after seeing this I want a whole video reacting to manic from you!!! there are so many genres on that album and it still blends so well together! Also I don’t know if you knew, but both badlands (room 93, her debut EP is part of badlands) and hopeless fountain kingdom are concept albums. HFK is a retelling of Romeo + Juliet with lots of influences from the 1996 film. If you watch the album trailers and then the music videos in order you’ll see a storyline! same if you just listen to the albums in full!
Trying to stan: AJR (their album neotheatre) would be so great! I never see anyone talk about them but their music, that album especially, is so so good, I recommend listening to the entire album probably in order but definitely starting with Next up Forever and finishing with Finale !! 🥺
No lie, the first time I heard Finally // Beautiful Stranger, I also sobbed. It felt very cathartic. I love Halsey. I’m definitely gonna go see her on her Manic World Tour. She’s so talented.
if there's a part two you should react to clementine, sorry, ghost, colors, new americana, alone and some live performances (nightmare at the armory, graveyard at the amas)
This was so good, you listened to every song I wanted you to :D I love hearing your input, however I just want to say that songs like"Nightmare" and "Queendom" by Aurora are for you too. 50% of the point of feminism is men so just bc you can't relate to some of the lyrics doesn't mean the song can't empower you in some way. Like Aurora said, "you have a home in my queendom". :)
I love how you respond to new music and how you actually allow yourself to absorb deeper meanings and not what's just on the surface. I personally would like to see what you think of the artist NF, he's a rapper with a christian background and has very intense music. Most people liken him to eminem. I would recommend the songs: "Therapy Session", "Mansion", "Paralyzed", or "Time". Disclaimer though, his music is definitely emotionally heavy.
I love Halsey! All of her songs are amazing, but here's a few of my favorite: Clementine Walls could talk Suga's interlude Young God Ghost Drive Control
I loved this video! I would love to see your reactions to her live performances of Without Me and Nightmare, Without Me from the BBMAs and Nightmare from The Voice, I believe. Also I just want to say I love how much you analyze the music. You don't just listen and go oh this is nice, you look for the message and you really put a lot of thought into interpretation of it. And there is obviously nothing wrong with a fun song that doesn't necessarily have a deep meaning or a strong message but I love that when one does you really sit there and deconstruct it and tell us your thought process and how you get to what you think the song is about. Also the fact that you are so willing to share your emotions openly, I really love that! It's one of the reasons I love watching your videos! Also I offer many internet hugs because that way you can have hugs if you want them but also not have to be touched if you are not comfortable being touched by random strangers!
I love that you included Nightmare and absolutely got it. So many dudes don't. I don't know if she's already on your list but I would LOVE to see you try to stan Melanie Martinez.

AH!!! I've been waiting for this!!!! Thank you so much for doing this
I love how this guy is not afraid to be honest about how he feels. I love watching him discover music that I already love and getting to see all of the feelings I have for that music play out in his face. It’s very refreshing hearing him put words to the feelings I have when I listen to these songs.
please do more trying to stan yungblud!
Finally/ Beautiful Stranger was about Dom (Yungblud). I really enjoyed your reaction, I applaud you.
I’m happy you had a chance to have a break, you work so hard and you deserve it x
Next vid you should either do Sorry, Gasoline, New Americana, Castle, or Colors. Great reaction to someone i rly love in music
I’d be super interested to see you react to Hozier! He’s an amazing artist and singer. I’d recommend Movement and Cherry Wine
All of it really. His self titled album and Wasteland, baby (maybe Movement or Shrike). Just anything.
after seeing this I want a whole video reacting to manic from you!!! there are so many genres on that album and it still blends so well together!
You make me love artists even more when you explain and interpret their music, the way you see things makes it even better, you're amazing 💕
FUNFACT!!!- that last song (beautiful stranger) was about YUNGBLUD!!! They dated for awhile 💗
I love how open and kinda loose you are about new music and artists. You speak your mind and say what you felt which can be very hard 💜💜💜
Trying To Stan: St Vincent
Trying To Stan: Bjork
Trying To Stan: Janelle Monae
Eve 100%
Eve he’s gonna fucking love Django Jane
Yes to Janelle Monae! Especially Tightrope
Monae I completely agree with! St. V is hit and miss... And Bjork is mostly miss lately tbh
JANELLE MONAE OMFG OMFG OMDG OMFG OMFG
This was so good, you listened to every song I wanted you to :D I love hearing your input, however I just want to say that songs like"Nightmare" and "Queendom" by Aurora are for you too. 50% of the point of feminism is men so just bc you can't relate to some of the lyrics doesn't mean the song can't empower you in some way. Like Aurora said, "you have a home in my queendom". :)
Hey bill, I’ve been watching for a loooong time now and I think it’d be pretty cool if you reacted to the neighbourhood, Melanie Martinez, or EDEN
Yes Melanie Martinez omgggggg
he said he wont be reacting to mel because of the accusations. I think he doesnt want to trigger anyone
@@schokodrinkfurimmer8230 Nooo T_T
@@thatdangfangirl2766 yeah it's rlly sad :/
Eden yes, Martinez no
I love how you respond to new music and how you actually allow yourself to absorb deeper meanings and not what's just on the surface.
Trying to Stan: Alec Benjamin
I think you'll like him so much
Thatd be amazing!!
Please!!!
He will LOVE our gay icon Steve
3:09 did you mean seven evil exes? If so, nice Scott Pilgrim reference, I love that movie (I haven’t read the graphic novel though).
Omg please do trying to stan Melanie Martinez!! I love her
U should do halsey again and watch her older ones! Like new Americana, ghost, and colors!
I wanna be in
The room where it happens
The room where it happens
The room where it happens
love this series and this episode. whenever bill cries, i cry.
Trying to Stan: mother mother
I love Halsey! All of her songs are amazing, but here's a few of my favorite:
Clementine
Walls could talk
Suga's interlude
Young God
Ghost
Drive
Control
Also I offer many internet hugs because that way you can have hugs if you want them but also not have to be touched if you are not comfortable being touched by random strangers!
trying to stan: 5 seconds of summer??🥺🥺
yessss stan halsey with us! you should stan her older bops that are very synth alternative, like her music videos: ghost and colors
Trying to Stan: Alec Benjamin
Hell YESSSS!!
Yes pleaseeeeeeeee
Please please please do this, Bill!
Yessss
YES THAT WOULD BE GREAT
It would be so awesome if you did a trying to Stan Of Monsters and Men!
I think you should try to stan Hozier soon. The man is an amazing storytelling musician.
I love that you included Nightmare and absolutely got it. So many dudes don't. I don't know if she's already on your list but I would LOVE to see you try to stan Melanie Martinez.
TRY TO STAN KFLAY
she's not that well known but I love her so much
You’ve been one of my favorite reactors for a long time now and I’m so happy you finally reacted to my queen please do a part 2 of trying to stan Halsey
Try to Stan Steam powered Giraffe!
Good songs to react-
•I don’t have a name for it.
•Honeybee
•Brass Goggles
•Automatonic harmonics
•Malfunction
•Steamboat shenanigans
OMG YES!!!
I really love how insightful you are. You've given real thought into what these songs are about and give me new perspective with many of them.
Icon For Hire would be a great band to check out. I'm not sure off the top of my head if all these songs have videos but:
Now You Know
Make A Move
Too Loud
Demons
Hollow
Blindside
Under the Knife
Supposed to Be
Get Well
I think these are some good ones to start with.
Could you do a "trying to stan Daughter?" She's a really underrated artist who makes absolutely beautiful music and I'd think you'd like her :) Some song recommendations: Candles, Youth, Medicine, Burn It Down, Numbers, Landfill, and No Care
peachy pastel “Love” is my favorite. Most heartbreaking song ever
I love that Finally//Beautiful stranger is about when she met YUNGBLUD 🖤
