This definitely is the site that keeps on giving,Schneider guns everywhere and an incredible underground labyrinth.HH you are giving EE the best history lessons any child could have, adventure and education combined.
It's amazing how well preserved this place is. Very few people, if almost any, have been here since the war. Especially with no Graphiti on the bunkers. Fantastic location!!! Great Find!
This site is unbelievable - it's massive and shows us how those stationed there lived. Thank you for this small piece of the large adventure you're sharing with us.... Be safe, careful and healthy .....
Thanks! I believe Eagle 👀 is right saying all the rock comes from walls and ceiling in caves. Those guns still sitting there gets me hyper. I can just see the crew around it.
I think that could very well be so. Thank you so much Skimmer for your great support and we will show more very soon for you to enjoy :) Greetings from us.
Omg this bunker was fantastic. Absolutely huge. They were experts in making these bunkers. Facinating. I would love to see places like this, i would take forever to examine everything and the gun outside. Wow. Thank you for sharing and stay safe out there
You were right, this site does not disappoint, it just keeps giving and giving. That fire control bunker is out of this world, I could spend hours just in the single bunker exploring. Still under construction in part, and I wonder if they were going to put concrete on the roof section, to give a finished tunnel appearance. Part 3 has so much promise, so thank you and EE for sharing this with us, and for the research it took to find this place. Stay safe and well my friends, until part 3
Yes so many questions not answered there and i just loved that underground. Part 3 will be EPIC my friend and thanks for your great support :) Greeting and be safe out there :)
I was stationed in Germany back in 1971 to 1976 my air base was on a hill, on the sigfried line these kind of bunkers were everywhere, they were all connected by tunnels and under ground complexes, storage, and hospitals it was really amazing to explore, farmers were always uncovering bombs in their fields the town was zweibrucken.
My dad was stationed at spangdalem in the 70's. As a little kid I remember seeing bigger kids coming out of the wooded area just off base with a German helmet with a huge shrapnel opening in it. I think the closest town to the air base was bitburg...
I absolutely love watching your videos! You and EE never disappoint! I will say, I'm extremely jealous that you get to explore such amazing historical structures and locations, but at the same time, I'm grateful you share your experiences with us! I cannot wait for the next installment! Keep up the great work! 👍
Such a fantastic location with all the tunnels and rooms below the firing control bunker. The sight of those guns still in position I a spectacular sight! Thank you for and amazing adventure and looking forward to the next episodes!!!❤️
This place looks like there's going to be even more cool stuff in the next video. I hope we get a closer look at those guns! Thanks to you and to EE for all of your efforts and for sharing.
I never dreamed that such an installation was under that firing control bunker. That was amazing and huge! The Germans never fail to amaze me with the areas they've developed. Wow! I can't wait until we go back! Thank you both for taking me along on this wonderful adventure. Take care and stay safe. 💖💯
I can’t believe how big the fire and control bunker was ! That’s what I call just showing out . That location was just great ! I know I’ll never be able to see something like that in person but you HH and EE showed it to us thank y’all so much !! Can’t wait for the other parts ! Be careful!Be safe!!
How wonderful to go back and watch this video again. I have gotten behind trying to rewatch these videos. Sometimes life throws things at you that you have to handle so it takes you away from many things I enjoy. I had forgotten how much equipment must of been here and all the surprises around every turn. Great adventure for sure.
I'm speculating that as the Allies overtook this position they detonated explosives throughout the bunker completely destroying the interior. I think the large room with lots of broken wood was a bunk room for sleeping accommodations. The wood was likely bed frames from double stacked bunk beds. The "cooking" area was immediately next to the sleeping room which makes perfect sense. One of those side rooms must have been latrine or bathroom which also makes sense. The rock scattered throughout could have fallen from the ceiling during explosive demolition. The exits blocked by rock was also likely intentionally caused by explosives thus making the facility less likely to be reactivated should the Allied forces loose this ground during battle. Interesting!
Wow wow wow....what an amazing place, I bet you were like a kid in a sweet shop exploring that place. Thank you for showing these stunning locations....and thank you for the gift you sent, it arrived safe and sound and will look great with the others I have 👍🏻
What an amazing location!!!! I'd say that this is better than the ones at Normandy. I can't believe how huge this site actually is. I can't wait for the next episode to see the guns close up. Thanks guys for bringing us to this amazing site. 👏
My goodness, you could just keep going down, down, down! What a bunker complex! A battle room with an oven - I could spend hours going over all the stuff in there! That place is just gigantic! Would they have used something like this underground area to assemble something for the war effort? All the wood, bottle parts and cables, crazy! The Schneider guns in the distance - WOW! What a location you have discovered for us!! Another great find you two!! Can't wait to see the next episode! Stay safe and stay well!!
Well i think it could have been a " battle readiness room " of some sort. Such a interesting place Donald and i just loved seing that. Much more to come and you will enjoy that :) Thanks and greetings from us.
Think how much concrete that was poured in all the thousands of bunkers, bomb shelters and all the other structures the Germans used over the entire war.
Absolutely fantastic explore! I reckon the inside of the bunker was sabotaged and weakened quickly while getting out what they could. Keep them coming ✌️ stay safe
I just started. to watch your shows and find it has a lot of history to it and its awesome that your son is interested. Keep up the good work. I cant What to see what else you did and the new ones
I absolutely love your videos. You have taught your son well as well. EE will grow up to appreciate history. The things you two find are truly amazing. A lot should be in museums. Better than rotting away in a wet bunker.
Great part 2. Amazing hard rock mining operation to create it. The rock on the tunnel landing floor could be roof spalling but with the floor already concreted it is not likely. The spalling would have been peeled down so nobody gets crushed. It still could be from micro-cracks that have slowly over the 70 years frozen in the winter and finally fractured enough. It is evident that humans went through and ripped out components and knocked down the walls to get around. One of your best finds so far, awaiting 3 & 4 to see more. Well done video my friend. You and EE stay safe, well and, warm.
Impressive location, great to see all the cable types in use, can only imagine all of the equipment that was in use down there. Funny to see you getting excited about the gun in the distance while EE is up on top of the bunker and can see one even closer. Look forward to part 3.
Yes so much cool stuff to look at and yes EE did have a great view at the guns there and i think you will love the following parts coming. Thanks my friend :)
The fire control bunker was massive. Just imagine the time spent designing and building using the environmental resources, and to think it is still standing today. That area must be less trodden as there seems like there is no vandalism, and to think that there are still original Schneider guns there. Thanks for taking us inside the Bunker EE & HH. It was huge with all the different levels. I think you are right, it looks like blocked that one entrance with rocks. Maybe a safety issue? Hope you had mosquito repellent one as you don't want Lyme Disease again. Really looking forward to the Bonus and P3. Stay safe. Cool plane EE.
It's like a labyrinth that bunker. The gift that keeps on giving. And that's just one bunker on your list! The intact Schneider gun was amazing to see still there! I look forward to episode 3. Excellent work on the Corsair model, EE 😁
Been looking forward to this part 2 so much, I always love waking up and finding you have posted more adventures. Keep safe and continue to do what you want👍
Amazing to see all that history just sitting there sorry that I didn't watch as many videos as I planned to yesterday but I will keep watching more of the videos that I have not watched yet I hope that the budget is coming along good you history hunter and eagle eyes
Those area's would be great history lessons. In a way, it's a pitty they can't be restored to that error. Put in photos of how the personnel lived. Not to bring up bad memories for any people. To show how bad wars were/are and what the people went through. Teach teens life history and how hard life really was for their grandparents. Shame those old historical sites were left to rot away.
@@WW2HistoryHunter Also put in sounds from that era as well as photographs, mannequins with the old clothing, helmets etc of where the staff sat, ate, fired from etc. Maybe have running commentary through the bunkers of each area. Would be a real eye opener for so many people. History that should be taught.
The next video looks amazing. Cannot wait. But this one is also so amazing. What looked like a basic Firing Control Bunker turned out to be so much more. Just Incredible. And spotting those guns just sitting there after all these years. Just Wow!. But those tunnels under the bunker. The work involved, just to dig, and move, all that rock. A huge effort. Obviously when it was in use, that tunnel and the rooms would have been packed with radios, and generators, and electrical gear, and it was all robbed out after the way. It looks like the rock laying around on the floors is spalling from the walls, and roofs. 70 odd years of temperature changes, and the freezing and unfreezing water, will do that. Which is why they lined their tunnels with concrete and brick, because even back then, they would have known about that. What an amazingly complex and stunning this whole site has become. Bring on Part 3! Thank you for braving all those mosquitos to bring this to us! Cheers! Stay Safe!
Yes that took us totally off guard Peter. Must have been tons of gear in there during the days indeed. You will love the other parts coming up Peter :) Thanks from us.
Whoa!!! This location melts my brain lol. The sheer extensiveness of the control bunker is mind boggling. It was obviously one of their most high-tech installations, judging by the cabling and all that. I'd have given anything to know what the electronics looked like when it was in use in WWII. And those guns!! That was even more astounding - the fact that they are still in situ! I won't sleep until your next video so we can get a close look at them. And who knows what else lurks around there. All the best to you and greetings to Eagle Eyes 🙂
In the tunnels under the fire control bunker where you wondered if there had been generators as there was soot on the ceiling, I wondered, as there was burnt wood there, if scavengers had gathered cables together and set a fire to the to burn off the worthless insulating material, so as they only had to carry the valuable metal, to wherever.
Thank you HH and EE!! Fantastic video!! Sooo cool!! Can’t wait to see more! And hey Eagle Eyes! Very nice F4U Corsair you built! Good job! Thanks guys ❤❤
One thing of learning all the things about Germans over that whole period of time is they sure weren’t lazy people. Now I know they did use slave labor on a lot of things they had built but they sure put a lot of effort in concurring the world.
Spectacular firing control bunker and undergruond facilities. A little worried about all those rocks on the floor, seems to have fallen from the ceiling. Be careful in those places, as you never know when the next one falls down. Looking forward to see more of the remaining Schneider guns out there.
When you went up that last set of stairs I thought there was going to be another tower going up to a panzer turret like the other location. I wonder if all the electronics that were there were for one of the new radar systems the Germans were developing? I would love to search through all the debris to see what is under it. These adventures are getting more and more interesting.
Wow!! Incredible place 🙌 😳😯 amazing!! And great model 👌 lol those were some hard-core adds!!!! 🤣🤣👍👍 Great as always my friends. 😊 can't wait for part three!!!
Your support is greatly appreciated and yes you will for sure see some AMAZING guns in the next episodes :) Thank you for your kind donations my friend it really helps out and enables us to go out and do even more. Greetings from us and be safe out there :)
Bunkers and underground tunnelling are everywhere especially on the still active military training sites along with war vehicles/weapons remains that are protected artifacts now. When training there in ‘91 a couple of us found undetinated booby trap at end of a bunker rear escape tunnel.
This definitely is the site that keeps on giving,Schneider guns everywhere and an incredible underground labyrinth.HH you are giving EE the best history lessons any child could have, adventure and education combined.

Wow, thank you and your son, for this great video again

That is colossal!!! I do like the firing control bunkers, but this one...wow!!! I am amazed, truly. Waiting for Part 3!❤️
Totally so Cynthia. What a great location to look into. More to come you know :) Thank you Cynthia.
So exciting, look forward to next videos.
More to come!
Spectacular firing control bunker and undergruond facilities. A little worried about all those rocks on the floor, seems to have fallen from the ceiling. Be careful in those places, as you never know when the next one falls down. Looking forward to see more of the remaining Schneider guns out there.
Yes it is a bit scary and we always try to be as safe as possible inside such locations. Thanks an more to come :)
Thank you from California...this made my morning!!!!
Wow so glad to read that and thanks Grey Room.
I wonder how many bunkers were just sealed up and gave yet to be found- new subscriber and what a great job ya’all are going- keep up the searches!
Thanks for the sub and we are very happy you are here with us :)
That’s was Awesome video guys
Appreciated and greetings from us :)
When you went up that last set of stairs I thought there was going to be another tower going up to a panzer turret like the other location. I wonder if all the electronics that were there were for one of the new radar systems the Germans were developing? I would love to search through all the debris to see what is under it. These adventures are getting more and more interesting.
I think there were multiple wires coming in from many of the locations around. Such a great place Anthony :)
I'ts excellent that you dont take anything from the place for you, as a souvenir. Excellent video!
Thanks for watching.

The backup on backup of electronics looks like a sci-fi movie. What a magnificent structure. Even with guns to finish the ensemble.

Bunkers and underground tunnelling are everywhere especially on the still active military training sites along with war vehicles/weapons remains that are protected artifacts now. When training there in ‘91 a couple of us found undetinated booby trap at end of a bunker rear escape tunnel.
Thanks for watching.
Wow! What a place, I would love to see photos showing its operations time period.
