Thanks! Incredible set of finds deep inside that bunker. Shame I couldn't quite make out the nameplate on the generator, it would be great to see that cleaned up. The battery bank would have been to supply emergency power if the generator stopped. The panel looked to be a charger / regulator. Interesting that the battery cells were Nickel Cadmium.
I collect everything ww2 German I also study the history of ww2, I highly respect and appreciate the work you do as your work and videos gives me a greater understanding and appreciation of the engineering and man hour’s building these bunkers. I thank you, your daughter and son for the great effort you go to for us to watch.
This is the most unique and complete bunker you’ve ever explored. I bet there are some artifacts in that water reservoir AND that generator (provided it stayed sealed) would probably run again with the proper tinkering. Great stuff!!!
I’ve never seen a bunker with three levels that location is great ! Thanks EE for sharing ! HH thank you for such a great trip! So much stuff ! That generator will probably fire up ! Be careful Be safe! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I’m ready to move in !! Lol.
Incredible. You're so lucky to find such a bunker. My WW2 fascination started as a young boy when my grandmother gave me a Nazi Germany workers badge and a cigarette and match from a POW camp and I still have them to this day. This kind of stuff is amazing. 👍 This place needs to be preserved and made into a museum. Thanks for sharing.
This is probably the best bunker you've ever shown us, I'm truly amazed at what I've just seen.....this place needs to be preserved. Thank you so much for taking us with you on this explore 👍🏻
I have to agree with all the comments below when I say this is by far the most complete bunker you have shown and by far one of your best episodes. Hopefully it can remain in the original condition it is in for future generations. Great job my friend!!
This made my day. My son's school called me on Monday because he was ill. He brought the flu home and had us all laid out a few days. Felt good to feel good and get back to normal.
Generator untouched.... just wow. This is a special find guys ! I've been binge watching the older vids this week , hard to get enough lol. Great work guys !
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks you so much for helping out watching more of our older videos , it really helps my friend. Thanks Dave and keep smiling :)
This is spectacular! It is such a shame that, world wide, places like this are decommissioned and vandalized because they can serve as such a great reminder of the past, good or bad. Thanks for sharing. Love this channel.
history Hunter and eagle eyes, this is absolutely the best bunker you guys have ever shown!!! Totally amazing incredible ww2 bunker never seen a bunker like this , obviously this did not get looted by the public, or else all the stuff would be gone. Holy moly, they really Should restore this one, hats off to you and the little guy👊👍🤛💪👋 always watching from Utica, New York . Thanks so much for sharing
So many amazing museum-worthy finds here in this most amazing bunker!!! This is right up there near the top of my favorites list!!! Thank you, HH and Eagle Eyes, for showing this to us!!!💖
Wow, now after having seen that generator we need a "Will it run after 80 years?. Saw a video somewhere of a similar bunker and they were able to start the main generator, incredible! I believe the entire bunker should be made into a museum. Amazing content as always!
IN all the time you have taken us to abandoned bunkers in various locations i don't remember ever seeing one that had so much equipment still in it. I guess it was sealed up right after the war and has stayed that way until recently when someone broke through the brick wall. Quite an amazing site to get to wander through. I wish it could be preserved as I suspect as soon as others discover it is open it will be looted. Thanks for taking us along on this adventure! Stay safe and stay well you two!!
Yes this was such a surprise and we were 99,9 % sure it was shut long time ago , we were just lucky :) Hope someone will shut is and preserve it. Thanks for your fantastic support Donald and we are sending uff some new stuff to you tomorrow :) Greetings and be safe :)
I can’t believe what I’m seeing…that Bunker is amazing.. Thanks so much for showing it and taking us along for a fabulous journey. No doubt about those Germans, they never did things by half! Please keep the great content coming.
This place is massive! The control panel was an amazing find by itself but the size of this is such an unexpected pleasure. It's wonderful seeing the old switches and things that are still functional. That generator was unexpected but awesome. A central heating unit would have been so incredible for a people who had no such. Thank you HH and EE for taking us here. This was one of my personal favorites. Take care and stay safe. 💖💯
Oh my Lord! What an absolutely amazing and huge bunker! I would give anything to have been there with you! All those artifacts still there, it's a miracle they've survived the years. I agree with you 100 percent that those pieces should be in a museum for future generations to see! This, in my opinion, is one of the best locations you have shared with us!! Thank you ever so much and keep up the spectacular work!!
Thanks! Great to see a historical site basically untouched and not vandalized . Bunker with generator panel was interesting. Wish they could make more of these historical sites into museums so the public can visit and learn a little WW2 history. Thanks so much HH & EE. Stay safe.
Great find , love seeing a bunker with equipment still intact. Keep up the great work. It so cool that you can do this with your son and daughter. Good job eagle eye keep finding awesome things!
what an amazing bunker!!! To actually see that diesel generator still in the exact position it was placed 80 years ago, is mind blowing. I do get so jealous of you guys sometimes, being able to explore such amazing places. Thanks for sharing this with us
I have to agree with EE, this bunker is definitely in the top 10 of places you have explored. Someone spent great effort to break into the sealed bunker, fortunately allowing our HH team to get in, but, like you, I hope it gets re-sealed to preserve it from other. less scrupulous, "treasure hunting" WW2 history explorers. The outside access toilet area on the first level was obviously for the near defence and nearby gun crews to use, and also the bunker's top level Operations staff, but could be sealed with the steel door in case of attack. Loved seeing all the light fittings, and switches, and the wood panelling still in place. Just amazing. And to see the bunker's generator still there. Incredible. That big water reservoir is just crying out to be drained. Who knows what's hiding on the bottom? Definitely one of our Teams best unexpected explorations. Thank you both for doing this for us. Stay safe! Cheers!
Yes Peter it is a fantastic place and so many details to study an that electrical panel is once in a life time find. Thanks for your great support and greetings from us.
This was the best bunker yet and you guys really do take us to places that have been lost in time. Thank you guys so much for all of your work and for all that you do for us. You guys are awesome
I have always been amazed by the engineering and WWII in general. What an amazing place. I always wonder what things my Grandfather saw as he was in the warzone over in Europe. That bunker needs to be sealed back and protected!
Thank you again dynamic duo [ WW2HH and EE ] for sharing this video with all of us. Again this bunker was not only for the regular soldier, but for their officers. As you continue on, be safe be careful of course be well.
The planning, the engineering at that time… was so advanced …. I’m so glad I have came across your channel and hours of watching your videos is AMAZING! Keep it up!
That’s was bloody brilliant! What a episode. Yous totally have to go back to that bottom floor, flooded room with your magnet 🧲 fishing line see you guys can bring something history up. I can’t get over how huge this bunker is.. it’s a labyrinth of engineering m. Great work lads
One of your best episodes for sure. Since it is in such great shape with so many artifacts, I would love to see this restored and turned into a museum for everyone to appreciate for years to come.
What an incredible find! Considering how much you discovered, could there have been some cold war use of this bunker? Many thanks to you and Eagle Eyes for sharing this adventure with us!
Amazing video! I would love to see this in person. From what I understand, the square holes in the walls were shooting positions, either rifle, sub machine gun, or a MG42.
Absolutely stunning !!! So much still there. Those old metal buckets by the coal heaps .. I'd have been very tempted to fill one with bunker coal and take it home. Very special video. Thankyou again H.H. and E.E. !
That was impressive and certainly one of the most interesting bunkers that you and EE have visited. At around 26:30 in the video there appears to be an open floor hatch, did you look inside and was anything there? Will you be showing a part 2 for this adventure or was it all covered in this video? I'd be interested to see what this huge bunker looks like from the outside, if any more of it is exposed above ground and not buried. Thanks to you and EE for your efforts and for sharing.
I would agree my friend what a great place to b able to explore. We have decided , to protect the bunker , that we will not share any more of the exterior or outside area. Actually , what you see is about all what is visible of the bunker :) Thanks and greetings from us :)
I had always hoped to see a more intact bunker and wow you found it! So amazing to see the complex wiring and plumbing still there along with the generator.. Would be so great to that site preserved... Thank you for all you do bring us the WW2 history..
OMG! What a credit to German engineering that this bunker is still intact ! Eagle Eye’s voice is so cute with his accent! Thank you 🙏 for the great videos,I’m a WWII buff!
Outstanding video. The best bunker that I think you have ever found. I hope that it can be properly protected!! There can't be that many that are that well preserved. Do you know who owns it? Are such things automatically protected in some way? Is there any organisation that can be asked to seal it up? I am always struck by how nicely built these bunkers are - they are not roughly put together but instead everything is nicely fitted, all the wires and such like. I also like all the little details like the patterns left in the concrete by the wood used to frame the concrete and also the original wood still left inside the little gun ports.
I think this place is almost always sealed up properly but someone seems to have worked very hard to enter and lucky for us as all we had to do was to walk right in as it was open. Talk about luck :) Thanks Charles.
I am speechless, that place is amazing as you say. No guns, so fire control or area command and control. All of that equipment left behind, and that battery charging station, it really does make you wonder exactly what went on here. Thank you so much for sharing this, and as EE says, this is in the top ten of bunker you have shown us. Stay save and well my friends
A truly spectacular discovery! Fantastic to get to see so much equipment and fittings still in place. A real blast from the past andcertainly a top 10 EE!! Thank you for this amazing adventure! ❤️
The quality of construction and attention to detail of this bunker is remarkable. It is not just any bunker... without a doubt it was a very important one with a level of luxuries rarely seen in other places. That elements of the infrastructure are still preserved, that the wood that covered the walls has is remarkable. Thank you for bringing this material so that we can enjoy it, it's like going to a museum.
What a mind-boggling find. Excellent to be able to see so much of the original gear still in place. Thank you both so much for sharing and I can't wait for the next adventure. As always " good hunting ".
It's just simply amazing how you can look back like that and see craftsmanship and different technologies and different building material and a different era, that's amazing you did a great job thanks.
Great find most unique interior awesome equipment and still intact thank you for a fantastic adventure into the past for us History buffs great video thanks
A fascinating location HH! It never stops amazing me that so much manpower and materials were expended on construction of installations like this one, and that most of them never saw action during WW2. It is also amazing to see so much equipment and artefacts still there. Really looking forward to more adventures like this one, with you and EE! Stay safe my friend, and greetings from Australia 🇦🇺!
Amazing video as always WW2HH! This was one of the best videos! So cool seeing all of the wood and gear still there. Thank you so much for all of these videos. Great job!!!
This is exceptional. Rivals the huge cold war cave/bunker you both explored a while back. You are so right - it should all be documented and preserved. How is it all still there?!
@@WW2HistoryHunter Your welcome! I wish things were different so I can be a member. I miss those special videos! One day maybe I will get a piece of history from yaw. That would mean the world to me because my great grandfather fought in the trenches of World War 1 and lost his left lung to gass. My grandfather served in the Army after World War 2 helping rebuild Germany. He was repairing the big guns on tanks and jeeps. One popped and he lost 2/3 hearing in both ears. He passed last November. I was surprised by the family to be the one chosen to be given His folded flag by the Flag guard. I also got his Army coat. I also have his disabled vet metal, honorable discharged letter typed by his Lutinete /platoon officer, and honorable letter signed by President Jimmy Carter! I also never met my Great Grandfather and never seen a picture of him. I have his photo wearing his World War 1 uniform before leaving for the war!! I have a small photo of My grandfather or great-grandfather brother's in uniform. I have other personal artifacts of my grandfather like the old flip lighters. I am so blessed!!
this bunker is amazing and even better than you found it for us, there was no vandalism or scrap theives or graffiti hope it stays like this thank you hh and eagle eyes you are amazing
WOW, just fascinating interesting location. Can't believe it wasn't totally stripped out after the war. I believe I have watched all of your videos and this has to be the most intact and largest bunker you have found. Thank you and EE for showing this incredible find.
Thanks! My name in Mike L. and my German Rottweiler Named Panzer sit and watch all your videos we absolutely love what you do! Would love to come join you sometime if possible!
Thanks!

As you stated, I’m speechless This unit was incredible with all the original artifacts. Unreal. Well done.
it looks like they had NiCd batteries already at the time !
That panel is worth the visit all by itself.
Nice to see a place others have been without damaging it.
It really is!
Absolutely fascinating to see such a complete bunker! Thank you for letting us come along
Appreciated James and greetings from us.

I thought that generator at the Eagle's nest was amazing, It used a U-Boat engine to power it!
I dunno mate :) copper coils .. they rust I wouldnt trust it to work after all this time :)
Folks this bunker is absolutely amazing a real time capsule it should be turned into a museum greetings from us over in Cornwall UK

Sadly, the bulk way it was opened and the missing wiring, machines ripped from their front panels make me believe it was opened by looters.😢
WOW what a find and those items need to be saved and put in a museum great work on the find.

Thank you for that Joseane and more to come :)
Thanks Gary and greetings from us.

Thanks for watching.
Amazing, not stripped like most bunkers. One of the most intact bunkers we've ever seen with you, I'll have to watch again to see it all
How great my friend and we shall surprise you all with even ore exciting bunker visit later :) Thanks.
Amazing video as always WW2HH! This was one of the best videos! So cool seeing all of the wood and gear still there. Thank you so much for all of these videos. Great job!!!
Glad you enjoyed it
This is exceptional. Rivals the huge cold war cave/bunker you both explored a while back. You are so right - it should all be documented and preserved. How is it all still there?!
Loved that and thanks fro being here.
Never seen anything like this, thank you so much for bringing us along
Appreciated Brian and greetings from us.
That’s amazing! That generator is too cool! The room with all the electronic stuff was probably a communication room !!
it could very well be and we loved to share this with you my friend :)
Fantastic seemingly never ending bunker 😁

Again you proof your one of the greatest if not the GREATEST WW2 History Hunter Channel!!
Thank YOU for being here with us :)
That is the most comfy WWII bunker I’ve ever seen. What a great find!
Loved that explore and thanks Mac :)
What an amazing place, just keeps giving. Interesting to see the original wood paneling, never seen that before.

WOW, just fascinating interesting location. Can't believe it wasn't totally stripped out after the war. I believe I have watched all of your videos and this has to be the most intact and largest bunker you have found. Thank you and EE for showing this incredible find.
