    Kenny, Katie’s brother made her the grids the first few times and she still uses them. Love the pattern on these bars. I’m not a rose person myself but you have promoted it several times so I may give it a go. Thank you Ellen.

    I suggest Jade because of the color. You could use a towel to grip to take it apart. I know you like to rinse it right away. I learned to do that from you and it helps so much. Pretty, pretty soap🧼 Yay for clays!

    Sooo pretty.( Of course they always are. ) I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this stick blender is sorta hard to take apart/back together when you have soapy hands. Lol it is heavy. I got mine at the outlet store. Same color. Does a great job just a little wonky to use until you get use to it.

    Beautiful! Just love that scent - I had purchased this fragrance from a different company and it riced so bad on me and it wouldn't come back together - thankfully I keep my crock pot on the counter and dumped it in and did a hot process on it - it turned out fine, just wanted to do a beautiful swirl like yours .. going to order from Bescented and try again .. BTW - you are correct - it was her husband that made her top grid - I remember her mentioning it on one of her videos 😁

    I am a soap maker and enjoy supporting other artists.
    I live in a small town where most markets are finicky about duplicate soap venders.
    I wouldn’t mind if Soapers set up on either side of me.

    Beautiful soap, Ellen. I’m fairly new to soaping, and I have a question about the gold mica in oil that you added to the body of the soap and to the top finish. If the Mica rivers in the body of the soap had remained distinct, would they have been softer to the touch then the rest of the soap? Also, on the top, is that gold mica still supple and could it be coming off on a persons hands? I don’t understand why it would saponify like the body of the soap and remain permanent. I truly want to try this to decorate my soaps, but I’m afraid it will come off. I have sprinkled mica on top and I know it comes off to the touch. Thank you for any words of advice you can give a newbie. ❤️

    • @EllenRuthSoap
      @EllenRuthSoap  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The oil & mica drizzle in the body of the soap will saponify, but the drizzle on top may not. It's pretty stable for the first couple of uses, but will rub off with time.
