    Hi Ellen! I really enjoy your videos! I’ve been watching from the beginning. They are very thorough. You have such a great personality. I also like that you are a retired military spouse as am I.
    I think these bars came out beautifully! The top embeds made them look like they were potted succulents. The body of the bar reminds me of recycled paper. Very beautiful!

    H Ellen! ☺️ great video!
    Your soaps always come out so pretty!
    I wanted to remind you that the essential depot molds can go in the oven. I find that it helps rebatch edges and bottoms conform to the mold and look smoother the tops look a little shinier too, depending on the oils you use but for sure less crumblier and less time smashing into the mold .

    i actually really like how it turned out. I like the color of the base, the flecks of different colors, the big pieces that didnt melt and the rocky/concrete (its all I could think of to describe it) look of the outside and the chicks n hens in beds on top dusted in mica. muted and pretty imo. great job. 💜

    I rebatch occasionally and I love the dense lathar a rebatch bar of soap produces!

    Thank you for making rebatch so simple. I have really wanted to do this but I was scared.

    You can rebatch soap in cold process. Add to medium trace😉

    • @EllenRuthSoap
      @EllenRuthSoap  ปีที่แล้ว

      These scraps are all CP soap, you could put them in soap batter to make confetti soap. Or you can melt them longer for a smoother batter..

    Do you have a video on making liquid body soap?

      @@EllenRuthSoap 😩. Ok thank you. As we get older it is more difficult to hold a bar and if it slips from our hands it is almost impossible to pick up in the shower. Just a thought 😊

    Can you use goat milk if you have it instead powder and water?

    • @EllenRuthSoap
      @EllenRuthSoap  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I haven't tried rebatch with fresh milks, I'm not sure how well they would work?? Maybe try a small batch and see..

    Thank you in advance

    • @EllenRuthSoap

      A range between 8-10 is good for CP soap.

    Don't microwave soap scraps. It makes a giant mess! Even if you are watching it like a hawk it goes from fine to disaster in seconds and then when you go to clean it while it's still hot it's like molten lava. You will burn your fingers. The last batch I put in in the crock pot I whipped the crap out of just to see what would happen and it made this cool spongy bar that floats if it's dropped in water.
