These videos are so fascinating to watch. As a londoner born and bread in Notting Hill it's wonderful these places still exist which is good too see.🇬🇧
As a non britisher, I concure! Lol. Seriously, these "old world" services and products are still light years ahead of mass processed and produced things.
Such a privilege to be able to walk in that store and buy products that can be traced back in a time that distant that most people can't trace their ancestry, me included.
Good video and history. I'm American but my wife's family are from Camberley, northwest Surrey. Exploring places in this series is a lot of fun, and cheaper than flying.
That scene from Hugh has to be the most wonderful slice of acting ever. Lovely, lovely establishment. I did do a spot of dancing out tonight, fueled by a drink or two, hopefully not enough to need Jeeves in the morning, but he could wake me up any day, I'd be quite delighted.
I've been using DR Harris products for years and love to drop by the shop when I'm visiting London. My personal favorite is the Coconut Oil Shampoo and Cream Rinse with a nod to the Bay Rum Hair Tonic, but really all of their products are great
First discovered the D.R. Harris brand in 2019 on a trip back home to London where I had the Afternoon Tea Experience at Fortnum & Mason!! Bought a bottle of D.R. Harris "Arlington" cologne at Fortnum & Mason that was recommended by the sales associate and I've loved the brand every since!! Thanks for this vid!! You've earned a new subscriber!!
You could call this series "Walking up and down St. James's". Next up... Berry Brothers and Rudd, Beretta and William Evans. Edward Green plus Turnbull and Asser please. Really enjoying the series!
Great here in germany the whetsaving and barbering has a new live. I use TooBS and D.r Harris since i startet to shave with a saftey rasor in my 20ties ❤
The Armoury, Aspinal, Berry Bros. & Rudd, Budd, Davidoff, E. B. Meyrowitz, Ede & Ravenscroft, Floris, Globe-Trotter, New & Lingwood, Turnbull & Asser ... The list is endless!
Once again Tom, a brilliant video, but very short. I even sprayed some Arlington Cologne on before starting to watch it. What is your cologne of choice from D R Harris?
Here in the States we have access to some of these products on Amazon, as well as a few online retailers. I have to say D.R. Harris has been my favorite shaving soap for many years now and I was excited to see you featuring it here in The Rake's channel! Well done!
Due to silly US customs regulations, I can no longer purchase DS Harris sandalwood cologne as the product contains alcohol. Just imagine coming up with this restriction. That complaint filed, I do very much enjoy this series.

Some truly excellent products here, their shampoos, and their sandalwood fragrance are to die for.
Gentleman, thank you for this beautiful content. I’m having great time while watching.
I will drop by when I get to London. Thank you .
Lovely video, Tom. I love your relaxed presenting style. And D.R. Harris products are amazing.
My favourite London shop of all!

Absolutely love DR Harris! They make some of the best shave soaps.

Excellent quality of service and superb products that are ageless and classic and very much needed in 2024 the 21st Century.
Wonderful as usual - thank you from the Antipodes.

I love their Lavender Water. Nothing like it!
What a cool looking shop. Going to London 2025 no matter what!

Wonderful video, they are still used today, ask any herbalist.
I love St James’s, Jermyn St, Savile Row - but would you be able to show us any hidden gems outside of that little radius?
Patience patience.
Tom, are you a fan of the Black Adder series? That movie clip you referenced brought it to mind...
Good to know.
Love DR Harris , however, I would love it if you did a podcast on Taylor’s of Old Bond Street. Nevertheless, I use both and truly enjoy the products.
I the videos, could you do one on your favorite fountain pen please!!
Must pop in some time for a bottle of laudanum.
I am an Anglophile
And I wonder if one day I could hire someone like Jeeves
I used to buy a ton of stuff in there although personally I find the scent can be quite cloying on a lot of their products. Lovely shop though.
Back when your local cocaine dealer wore a three-piece suit.
I do hope Floris is on your list of locations (unless I missed it).
And a Pipe Smoking requisites episode would be wonderful as well.
wish you'd made videos with pocket and wrist watches :)
Very simple
She asked how many do you want I told her buy whatever and she did
