    I think it sounds pretty darn good compared to stock (prior to your first mod). Fun car, especially with manuel trans. I have a 2024 Si as my daily. My Ford Raptor is my Sunday drive vehicle. Great content, enjoy the channel.

    Some vestiges of the old Honda are still alive! Thanks to your videos, I ended up with a 24 Sport hatch...with the CVT. At least it's the same color. I love the car. So far so good. The only big issue I had was self-inflicted. When I replaced the reverse and turn signal bulbs (the same ones used on my 10th gen), I ended up popping two fuses on the BCM, which freaked out the car. What's worse, whoever did a hard reset failed to tighten the positive cable. Either way, Im happy with mine.

    Hy NAUS! I just got brand new 2024 honda civic sport hatchback (automatic) today in sonic gray. I was looking for a sedan. But as every guy that looks for the reviews video before buying anything, I came to your vids and watching your car, the hatchback really grew on me. let’s hope I don’t have to face the hatch leak or bolt loose of the transmission in future 😅. But anyway I’ll be watching your video for any mod’s I’ll adding on car.

    I may have mentioned this before but the Road and Track article "The 2016 Honda Civic Coupe Is All You Need" talking about the NA 2 liter and manual transmission combination summarizes the appeal of your car. Future classic.

    Good move on the dryflow filter. Maf sensors are very easy to fowl with an even slightly over oiled filter. I wish the kit came with a hinge on the box for easier filter change.

    • @NAUS2K
      @NAUS2K  หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s more restrictive than an oiled filter yes, but this one has significantly more surface area than the oiled filter to negate that. Dryflow actually does its job and filters the air. It’s still less restrictive than the stock air filter. Were you tuned with the oiled air filter then switch to a dry flow and noticed the fuel trims change? If custom tuned that could have a lot to do with it

      @@NAUS2K sucks. Used 10th is an option (lots of available 6mt with k20c2), but i feel that gen needs a more beefy front end for track use. Seems like they made 11th chassis a little stronger which is necessary for front axle in track use. Wish they had an Si with K20c2 engine, so that chassis/suspension structure wouldn’t be an issue if you were to make it into dedicated track car. 1.5T not ideal since it’ll have to quit the track after a few laps and K20C2 can go all day long.

    “Not Chasing Gains”. If you’re “not chasing gains” then why is it that you’re installing a HVI in the first place? Why not just leave it completely stock? I mean stock is pro’s for the non gain chasing folk and cons for the people that chase gains all day. Why?

    • @NAUS2K

      To get a little more induction noise and still have a filter setup that will do just as well as oem for engine longevity. This has made the car more pleasurable to drive since it is a 6 speed manual. If it was a CVT car I’d absolutely keep it as quiet as possible

I was thinking of upgrading to the PRL HVI box and cone filter since you can buy all the parts separately on their website, but if it's only a slight bump in intake noise, I'm gonna pass for now. I just bought some black RFP1s 8” rims w/ 235/45/17 tires for mine. I will probably try to make a vid on the switch once I swap em out. Aesthetically I know it won’t look the greatest but I think it should be a decent upgrade comfort and weight wise since the stock rim with tires weigh close to 52lbs. Interested to know your take on that.

    Is the link correct for the air filter? The one on the website following your link doesn’t have the little velocity stack hole it’s similar styling to the prl

      @@NAUS2K you can hook an OBD scanner that is capable of reading your engine temperature willing running and tested with stock setup and aftermarket setup this usually happens because your air temperature sensor reads different suck a little cooler air and raise the engine temperature so check it out

      Both the stock intake and this intake use the same air duct to the front grill. The intake air temps will be identical. An air filter doesn’t change the temperature of the air
