- 2022 RGL with S&S550 cam and D&D vortex baffle 2-1. A lot of folks run the tried and true S&S 475 in the 114/117... but I wanted a bit more... and I got it! FYI... Im at 5500ft elevation

Sounds great and with good numbers. Where did you get the mount for the Power Vision?
How did you mount your powervision up on your guages I've been wanting to do that but can't found any brackets to do so

Those are some good numbers. Only thing I dont like about S&S is the power isnt broad, take cams like redshift the peak power with tq goes through almost the entire rpm range and the HP comes on sooner. Personally id rather have slightly less peak hp/tq but my usable hp/tq is higher. Kinda hard to explain but the 2 bikes will ride completely different.
The lope sounds like hot for teacher lol I had to make sure it didn’t change the video 😂
does it change your redline at all? I'd like to be able to rev mine to 6-7
Sounds pretty good… Just curious? Did you consider the S&S 475 Cam? If so, what was the deciding factor?
I have 20 RGS with a 475 cam with a D&D big bore pipe, I didn’t have to change the springs. That 475 cam woke my 114 up.
Awesome. I'm going to upgrade my cvo 2019 with:
- 550g cam
- 55mm S&S manifold
- Khrome Werks 2 into 2 HP full system exhaust
- M8 TRASK ASSAULT CHARGE HIGH FLOW AIR CLEANER KIT
Still dont know what it's gonna be like. Would you have any suggestion for me, I would appreciate alot.

Sounds great! Is it loud enough without the big bore baffle? On the fence on wether or not to get that for mine
Plenty loud but not obnoxious. Each vortex baffle sounds a little different depending on your cam selection...
@@tgrisko makes sense. I’m having the CR480 put in on my 114 RGS and I haven’t really been able to find a vid of the D&D with that cam. As you described sounds great, I want it to be loud but there’s nothing worse than TOO loud
@@evangallant1569 I had the Boss Borzilla on my last Road Glide with a worked 120 motor and sounded AWESOME... the only way I would change out the baffle is if I did more engine work... IE BIG BORE, heads ect...and required it...as she is... she breathes just fine
I'm thinking of doing 128 with the 550 cam. How does it run with just the 114?
The numbers don't lie and I'm at 5500 ft elevation.. closer to sea level and your numbers will be better. I'm tuned with the Power Vision on a dyno... FYI
I had a twin cam 120 prior... had some work done to it and this M8 is much quieter, and power is substantially cleaner across the range
With your 128, I would suggest the S&S 590 cam, it's good for big bore
I made 124/132 with a 475 cam
Good numbers! Altitude has alot to do with it... what elevation you at? I'm at 5500 ft.. 114-117s here get 112 to 114 hp and 122 to 126tq with the S&S 475 cam

Did you lose low end torque?
475 cam on my 2023 114 street bob 131 torque That 550 cam is for their big bore kits. 132 cubic inch S&S kit

Just seeing your video. How’s it been so far since you did the upgrade? Sock heads and all I’m assuming? What’d it run you because these shops out here seem to be wanting to rip me off
Stock M8 heads are good for 150hp/tq all day long. I have a 2022 street glide special 114". I have zippers performance stage 2 with their 472 cam, power vision tuner, 64mm intake/ throttle body, bigger injectors, HD screaming eagle ventilator air cleaner and Sawicki 2 into 1 full length stainless steel exhaust. It dyno'd at 128hp/ 129tq. I carry my peak tq from 2500 till 4500 and its still over 100 pounds of tq at 6500rpm. It also carries peak 128hp from 5000rpm till 6800 and its at 100hp 4000rpm. The front wheel comes up regardless if you want it to or not. Im running a metzler racing tire in the rear though. Stock dunlap just roasts off. A good running street bike isnt about peak HP/TQ numbers, its about the power it carries throughout the rpm range.

You got screwed dude. Whoever did the work should've told you to swap the air cleaner. My 114 makes 130hp with the 475, 2-1-2 khrome werks and wedge air intake.
