New subscriber! I watched a few of your hair tutorials and your tips and tricks have changed my life! I have started styling my hair according to your guidance and within the last 2 weeks have received more compliments on my hair than I have received in my entire life! (and I'm in my 50's, by the way) I really appreciate all that you share and I have (and will continue) to really enjoy your amazing content. Thank you for all you do, GGG!! You truly do make a difference in the lives of others. I feel great about myself now for the first time in a LONG time!
I use my setting spray to set my under eye makeup. I spray it onto my hand and use my ring finger to pat it gently. My concealer doesn't settle into my fine lines and it doesn't move. I never use powdered products on my face. I use Urban Decay All nighter. I also work 12 hours outside in Florida. Makeup stays just as fresh as the end of my shift as it did at the start of it.
I am sooo glad I found your channel. I've learned so much, the quality of your videos is great, and you have a genuine kindness. And wow, your skin and face are so pretty! Keep up the good work.
This is SO helpful, thank you! I immediately went to all my "setting" sprays and checked them out. To my surprise, most were NOT the hydrating type. I had some hydrating toner so I put some in a sprayer and am testing it out right now. You are a gem 💎
I love the Elf stay all night micro fine setting mist for a nice in-between! It hydrates but also locks your makeup in quite well. If you haven’t tried it, you might enjoy 🥰
Greatly appreciate you clarifying the differences Gabi ! A personal recommendation for a good hydrating spray is the Pixi Milky Mist. I've used it both under makeup and over. I tend to use powder foundation as I work in a hospital and it melt my makeup and keeps it looking nicely hydrated !
Thank you for this video. I've wondered what the difference was between the two. Some beauty influencer believe that a foundation should where we'll throughout the day on their own, even without a setting powder or finishing powder
And you are so simple, naturelle, fun and so beautifull! ❤❤❤❤
Wow, had no idea, 😆 thank you. This was so educational. I appreciate this kind of info because I tend to fly by the seat of my pants with some product claims, and end up wasting so much money! 💖
Thank you Gabi! I often wondered if I was using the correct one because there are so many to choose from. I was happy to see you like the Charlotte Tilbury, which is the one I use. I enjoyed learning about the ingredients too
Hey Gabi!!! You look beautiful today! I luv your suggestions! Spot on as usual!😍 Your tip on using a milky toner in a spray is amazing! Luv ya girl! XG 💋 💖 🌈 💐
Thank you so much I always wondered why nothing can hold makeup on my super oily skin. Thanks to you now I know the ingredients to look for . I hope now my makeup stays in spite of oils.
I have been wondering this for quite a while - thank you! BTW I saw you on Justin Hickox video. Looked like fun, all that washing and testing 😊 Still, it was a very helpful video! ❤
Perfect timing, Gabi!! I’m looking for an alcohol free setting and or fixing spray. This was VERY informative!! Thank you! 💕🌸 Btw- you look gorgeous!!💕💕
Hi Gabi, Thanks for these informative series. I really like them. One question: From your perspective and experience, do many North Americans wear makeup without applying any skincare adapted to their needs beforehand? Some of the videos give me that idea. I ask because in Asia and Europe, this is very rarely the case. Thank you in advance for your feedback on this. Love from Paris
I use D'Alba to prep my dry skin before makeup after that to set I use Milani. After 8 -10hrs of work in a AC I refresh my skin and my makeup is intact
You are stunning! So impressed by knowledge and the way you break things down for us. Would love some cruelty free company drugstore options more often. I know L’Oreal is somewhat but they sell in China and China isn’t:(
It might have been one of these two: 1. TYMO Airhype Blowdryer: go.shopmy.us/p-5422955 2. TYMO Volumizer Blowout Brush * I do find that this one tends to get hot really quickly after about a year of everyday use. go.shopmy.us/p-5422954
I loved the now discontinued Bobbi Brown setting Spray which left my powders blended and my face hydrated. I used up an Hourglass spray which was ok and moved on to aCharlotte Tilbury. I’m finding that a little dehydrating for my skin and I dislike the initial fragrance. Fortunately it fades quickly. I will need to check ingredient lists in future.
Hi Gaby! So interesting! Finally some clarity! Don’t you find the L’Oreal Infallible spray a little breathtaking? It seem to me to be hairspray sold as a fixing spray ( by the way we used to do that in the 90’, when we hadn’t any spray ). I literally suffocate every time I use it ! I moved it in the bathroom among hair products ! 😅 Thanks got the video ! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
First, let me say how I love the outfit and make up on you have today. Pink is definitely your color. Also, I wanted to say that you’re my favorite TH-camr. It seems like you make TH-cam every other day or so and they’re always different. It’s not the same thing over and over again you always have interesting tidbits. And my last thing is about a year ago you had did a tutorial on blow dryer that you used and you really liked it and it was only like $100 and I can’t find that tutorial anywhere. Do you know what blow dryer that was. I believe it’s one that you use all the time. Thanks.
I’ll never understand why brands insist on naming things opposite of what they are. Like, I can understand brands naming everything “setting spray” since that’s usually the main name people know. Like Urban Decay Setting Spray, which is a fixing spray. BUT, Max Fix Plus, having Fix in the name when it’s a setting spray - is just so weird to me 😂 Like why’d they name it that when it’s not a fixing spray? 🤷♀️😂
I use the CT setting spray and thats the one i love also really like the Hourglass one. I usually use the Niod SMD mist through the day to add moisture and it is a protective antioxidant i dont use the CT throughout the day. O prep i like the Peach and lilly glow mist 😂
Very informative video! It's so difficult to find a clean setting spray that doesn't contain alcohol or fragrance (two ingredints that I have omitted from my makeup and skincare routines); enjoying the Skin and Makeup Enhancing Mist by Lisa Eldridge
Hi! Great Video.actually it was a question I had for a while now. I have a question: i saw in the video you dabbed your face with sth that seemed a sponge. After spraying should I just wait the face to dry by the air or use a sponge? ❤
Thank you, Gabi! That was very helpful. I have dry skin. If I use a setting spray and fixing spray can I later use a hydrating spray if I’m feeling dry?
I definitely needed this information! So confusing, 😆 for real! I’m an Urban Decay All Nighter girl, but a couple times when I’ve run out of UD I did try it. I don’t like heavy hairspray (No AquaNet!) But something like Cake Beauty’s flexible spray? Am I just fooling myself and maybe drying out my skin? What are your thoughts? Making notes on PVP, AMP, VP/PA for sure though! Thanks for the video! 💄✨
Yup you’re correct. You can use hairspray if you’re in a pinch and it will work in a similar way. The only thing is that it’s less flexible because it’s made for hair and not skin so it won’t be AS good but it is okay when you have no other option.
Is there a hydration on the low end you can refer I have very dry skin and I wear makeup every once in awhile With my mature skin I need something that actually hydrates very well when wearing makeup Yes I have high end Mary Kay daily skin products I use and still my skin is dry..Sadness of being a diabetic haha 🤣. Thanks in advance for the help.
I have tried a lot of setting sprays both high end and drugstore brands. I tend to reach more for my Skindinavia bridal version even for every day use. Do you think it's ok to use it every day though?
Hey Gabi! One question?? So I have combo skin and I loving the Jane Irdale power foundation. I purchased the discovery kit. I wasn’t loving the Pommist that came with the kit because my T-zone was oily with a couple of hours. I found in the website the balancing spray and decided to give it a try. I just got and haven’t used it yet. Just curious on your thoughts on the products that claim to hydrate but offer oil control. Is it a fixing or setting spray? On the website it claims: A skin-balancing, hydrating face spray that locks in moisture, tones skin and sets makeup for a lasting, skin-like finish. It confusing balancing oil control and hydrating… 🤷♀️
I had no idea there was a difference… and now I do!! Thank you Gabi, you are the best!!

She really is THE BEST!! ❤
The Glow of your neck and chest is Beautiful ❤
I'm glad you mentioned my favorite L'Oreal Infallible 3 Second, I do well with it! Thank you 💕
Thank you, Gabi! Thinking of going with a cocktail. Would love the hydration and melting, but could use some fixing too.
This is SO helpful, thank you! I immediately went to all my "setting" sprays and checked them out. To my surprise, most were NOT the hydrating type. I had some hydrating toner so I put some in a sprayer and am testing it out right now. You are a gem 💎
Thanks so much Gabi for explaining the difference in these two products 😊 I had no idea 😊
Very informative thank you so much. By the way I love your hair braid
I wish there was one that combined both qualities.
I love the Elf stay all night micro fine setting mist for a nice in-between! It hydrates but also locks your makeup in quite well.

I’m listening to the information but I can’t stop staring at your look! It’s 🔥 I dream for my makeup to look like yours ☺️
Thank you so much. I don’t know much about make up and I am trying to learn more and find new things to try.

Thanks so much! Maybe I'll do a video on this look soon!
I love the LYS natural finish setting spray. The mister on it is fine and covers so lightly. I instantly feel hydrated love it!
Thanks for sharing!
Why does the setting spray ruin my makeup .?I spray a little and it moves my makeup and clumps my lashes. Thanks in advance you are the best.
You're spraying it too close to your face.
Wow, had no idea, 😆 thank you. This was so educational. I appreciate this kind of info because I tend to fly by the seat of my pants with some product claims, and end up wasting so much money! 💖
This video was SO HELPFUL!! Great information that is easy to understand. Thank you.

Gabi, adore you. Thank you. I would like to try this. Psst…..you look adorable with your long braid. You look like Kim Kardashian.
Thanks Gabi for sharing🤩🤩🤩
You're welcome!
Any research on the long term safety of these ingredients? Especially vaporized and breathed..
Need a Sephora shopping list ❤

Yes, very helpful.
I’m so glad it was helpful!
I use the CT setting spray and thats the one i love also really like the Hourglass one. I usually use the Niod SMD mist through the day to add moisture and it is a protective antioxidant i dont use the CT throughout the day. O prep i like the Peach and lilly glow mist 😂
Great video!❤
I often love, love your lipstick in these tutorials, can you tell us what ur wearing please.
This was helpful, thank you!
You are so welcome!
Great video, What spray do you have on your neck and chest? I want that. It looks so nice.
Great video. ❤❤❤
Very informative video! It's so difficult to find a clean setting spray that doesn't contain alcohol or fragrance (two ingredints that I have omitted from my makeup and skincare routines); enjoying the Skin and Makeup Enhancing Mist by Lisa Eldridge
Hey Gabi, have you tried the Lisa Eldridge mist? It's pretty amazing:)
Not yet! I'll have to check it out!
Hi! Great Video.actually it was a question I had for a while now. I have a question: i saw in the video you dabbed your face with sth that seemed a sponge. After spraying should I just wait the face to dry by the air or use a sponge? ❤
Great video! Now, to remove these products? Same? Double cleanse is enough?
Yes, a double cleanse would be enough!
Thank you, Gabi! That was very helpful. I have dry skin. If I use a setting spray and fixing spray can I later use a hydrating spray if I’m feeling dry?
Yes you can!
Is fixing the same as finishing spray?
Do the powder melting sprey go on top of primer or under primer ? To lock the primer
Doesn't the alcohol contained age the skin over time? Thanks
What brand is your hair, Gabi? Thanks!
Amei!!!❤
I definitely needed this information! So confusing, 😆 for real! So quick question … I read somewhere that in a pinch you can use an aerosol hairspray ( I hope you’re not screaming already!) as a makeup setter.
@@GlamGirlGabi Awesome!!! And, 😱 I’m pleasantly surprised! Thank you so much for the @GlamGirlGabi confirmation! You’re the best, Gabi!! 🫶🏻❤️
Is there a drugstore hydrating spray?
I use and love DAlba
Good video!!
I am so glad you liked it!
Great video you look beautiful today
¿ Eres hispanoamericana , verdad ?
Вместо фиксатора макияжа можно использовать просто воду ?
I used the Peter Thomas Roth serum and it looked so flaky I tossed it! What did I do wrong??!
Thanks mam
