I'm one of those driver's delivering essential loads during the pandemic. All you hear about is the first responders, which good but we go into the same environment without ppe. So to all the other drivers THANK YOU for doing what you do.

"He followed his daddy like his daddy before!!!!" That gave me chills. I'm a 3rd generation trucker and proud to say my boss hired my grandpa in the late 60s and he drove for him until he died in 1981. He hired my daddy in 1976 and he drove for him for 38 years. He hired my uncle in the 70s and he drove for him for 35 years. I started out at 12 years old washing tools, picking up trash and sweeping the shop floor on Saturdays for 20 bucks then when I was 14 I moved up to doing mechanic work on trucks and did that until I was 18. Then I got my cdl and I've been driving for him for 23 years. Thank you for the great tribute and the recognition Jessie.

This is a great song for all them asphalt cowboys out there being out lifeline and moving essential loads across America. Remember without all them big rig gear jamming heroes delivering loads that America would stop. For that we stand and salute them. If you drive it, ride it, wear it, eat it ,drink it, sleep on it, sit on it, wash with it, or wipe your ass with it. The chances are a Trucker delivered it!!!

My was a ww2 vet. He came home to tn, married started family . moved to Virginia and went on the road and went thru 3 companies till he retired. Then drove for a emergency medical supplies.he was the idol to me. My dad told me that he grew it and your uncle will deliver it. My ex husband did the same job. No high education,just work, sweat and blood. Thanks keep rolling.

Got to give it to him, as I have not driven for a trucking company that has ever had a CEO get behind the wheel and put the hammer down like his employees!! HE WOULD TAKE ME FOR RIDES WHEN HE CAME HOME, LOVED IT. SO I KNOW THE IMPORTANCE OF TRUCK DRIVERS IN THIS COUNTRY. EVERYTHING COMES BY TRUCK , WITHOUT TRUCKS AMERICA STOPS.
