      I know, but the guy was doing me a favour on in the middle of a busy construction site, I didnt want my camera man in the way.

    I know this is an old vid but have you though about clearance issues in the ramp pockets if the ramps bend a little when loading heavy stuff. I've seen some pumps start to bow.

      I can address it if that ever happens, but those ramps are stout, I loaded an 11,000 pound mini excavator and they are still straight.

    This may be a stupid question but I’m looking to build a trailer like this and was wondering how difficult you think it would be to build the same trailer but add a 2 ft dove tail? Love the build definitely going to use it to help build mine!

    What was the rough cost to build?

    • @kmac9759
      @kmac9759  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      4900.00. 6300.00 with sandblasting and powder coating. But prices on steel and component have gone up since I built it.

      @@kmac9759 that’s still way cheaper than buying one

    How high is the top of the deck off the ground?

    • @kmac9759
      @kmac9759  ปีที่แล้ว

      25 inches I think. Not terrible but no great. Could have gone with a dovetail but its not too bad.

    Do u have a link for the bullet lights? I like those a lot better than those big ole rectangular lights

      There are a bunch of different styles, but these are the ones I used. www.amazon.com/Purishion-Clearence-Indicators-Trailer-Taillight/dp/B01MEG40NI/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=3%2F4+inch+trailer+light&qid=1630971330&sr=8-4

    Loving this trailer man ! I do however have 1 question on this build so far . Why not fix your ramps so that they slide in and out from in under the trailer deck straight out from the rear of the trailer ? Be less walking around and carrying em

      To make the ramps long enough to drive low vehicles onto the trailer they would have interfered with the rear axle. And didn’t want the ramps hanging down under the back dragging when I drive across gutters and such. They aren’t too bad to deal with.

      @@kmac9759 I am running into this same issue with my trailer. My steel ramps are stored from the rear of my 16ft car hauler but they are too short. I purchased 6ft aluminum ramps knowing they wouldn't fit for length. They hit the axle as you mentioned. Not many videos out there covering side ramp storage fabrication. Thanks for the vid!

    What type of drill bit did you use for the holes for the small lights? Do you have a link? Great build!

    How did you flip the trailer over?

      The are a bunch of new homes being built behind mine. All the framing crews are using telescopic forklifts. When it was upside down the tires touched the ground, so i took it and found a framing crew that was willing to flip it for me.
