That Tanko design is phenomenal. I've had to move heavy stuff impossible to lift without a crane. The asking price is ridiculous, but it can totally be fabricated in a few weekends.

1:40 I have one of these for my cars and enjoy it.
Could have used the Bruno Chariot when my dad was alive, and frankyly still could now. My mom broke her wrist trying to put together grandma's wheelchair on mother's day and this would have made it uncessecary to have broken it down to put into her car to begin with. Also, really like Maxx-D roll off trailer as it makes a dump truck and flat bed possible with just a quick change of platform.
That first little aerodynamic trailer is almost 1500lb empty! It is the size of an open trailer that weighs about 400lb. Pretty sure the aero advantage is long gone by the time you haul the extra thousand pounds. Nice to have it enclosed, but way, way, too heavy compared to others.
Weight doesn't matter much when towing with an EV, though. But for the price difference you can still drive a lot with a standard trailer.
@@blackmoon925 weight doesn't matter? try lugging around 15,000 lbs and see how far your battery lasts.
@@guysteel I'm not allowed to tow more than 2000 lbs with my EV, so I can't test it with 15000. But if you don't brake hard with the trailer and don't use its brakes, there's only the roling resistance of the trailer's tires and the losses of converting additional electrical energy into mechanical motion and back that consume additional energy.

On the Bruno chariot, they should have never put 360 caster type wheels .. bad idea! I can see many things going wrong with that

That's for sure. Uncontrolled oscillation. And backing up in a potholed parking lot with some bad timing/luck, bending a swivel that then turns it into an oscillating nightmare on next highway trip over 30 mph. Terrible idea. Just cuz something can be built, doesn't make it a good idea or practical in any sense of the word .
And I agree with 1st poster, all of these trailers ridiculously over-priced. They're trying to get their (quite large investment to get these from paper to product) return back overnight. A bit of free advertising here will help I guess, but obviously directed at a more affluent crowd than those of us posting here. As some of the boys and girls on Shark Tank would say.."I'm out!"

These are ridiculously exorbitant priced trailers, basically with this amount I could actually build a decent 8×8 meter size house with two bedrooms a lounge kitchen shower & toilet including a full length front porch.. they look cool tho.
It’s great that you live in a country where you can build a 64 square metre house, with a full length porch, for $2623 - the price of one of the trailers here.

The Bruno has got to be one of the WORST ideas I've seen for a scooter hauling device ever. Those swiveling "casters" are going to get mangled the first time you hit a pothole, especially if you're backing up. Plus the SIZE of the wheels! Bring along a grease gun if you drive any great distance at more than 35mph otherwise those bearings will be toast.
I like the Shop Tanko, but can't find a way to buy it.
Check out @Smitty McWingnut's TH-cam. He came up with a very similar design years ago for his FMod race car and gives out the plans.

That trailer weight is extremely high too close to max towing weight for most family vehicles so all you can haul is a empty trailer

Actually its definately Not the correct way of saying the word . it doesn't matter what so called version either , because all versions still use the pronunciation keys in the dictionary . it doesn't say the word correct at all .
