Ryan, bro! The thumbnail caught me. I was like, “hey, I know that dude!” Glad you’re on here making vids. I bought this desk last year and just finally set it up last week. I ended up refinishing mine with a different stain and finish, cause I’m picky like that. I didn’t have a space for it until we bought our house recently. We moved back down south away from Seattle. Anyway, looking forward to watching your vids and we should connect again soon. Miss you guys 🤙🏼
A most excellent video bro, thanks for the helpful info. Being 6'5" I'm always concerned about leg room. How much room is there from the floor to the keyboard tray and how much do the "risers" you mentioned add to it?
How does the height of your monitor feel on your neck as you're working ? I can't tell if it's a bit high in relationship to your line of sight. Also, does an 88 key piano fit well in the sliding shelf or is it really designed for a smaller controller? Thanks. Really nice job.
Monitor sits a little high than line of site but I don’t ever get tired...if anything it helps me sit up strait :). 88 might be tight depending on the series. The slider isn’t perfect and could use some work on their end. Just like any sliding shelf I think it comes down to how well you build the desk, any little shift and you loose a bit of smoothness.
The rack mounts do not angle but the 2 dividers between the 3 sections can flip around and change from flat to an angle look. If you use the side with the angle it does cut into your desk space so I went with flat.
Thanks for your thoughts however I was waiting to actually see your desk and only got a few glimpses.
