I test drove the new GLC recently. I showed up in my F-Pace SVR, and my dad showed up in his (much cheaper than GLC) GV70. The sales guy who had actually sold me my C63 a few years ago just told us something along the lines of “you’re probably not going to be impressed…it has nowhere near the fit and finish of your dad’s GV and it’s pretty slow”. I own a BMW 230i and Mercedes GLC and me and the wife agree that BMW ID8 is better than the Mercedes MBUX2. Also as far as the Mercedes hybrid system you don’t really notice the additional power but what is highly noticeable is how the hybrid system smooths out the shift points and keeps pushing the car in between shifts. I own a GLE before getting the GLC and it is remarkable how much better the GLC drivers over the GLE wonky soft suspension. The GLC is far more composed and it is more noticeable around corners and under acceleration. The GLC is on the downside in terms of space, it feels noticeably smaller than the GLE and is likely even a tad bit smaller than the GLB! In a car like this, all that matters is comfort and convenience. If you’re looking for performance and handling in a base, non AMG GLC, an SUV, I don’t know what to tell you. Buy a dictionary? the secret word is "bounce"
In a car like this, all that matters is comfort and convenience. If you’re looking for performance and handling in a base, non AMG GLC, an SUV, I don’t know what to tell you. Buy a dictionary? All that should matter in these cars is comfort, convenience and utility. Everyone wants their truck to drive like a Ferrari. Hey, if you want to run up chiropractic bills, fine. Unfortunately, because of people like that, I have chronic pain and very few options for transportation. These middle aged people with nascar fantasies driving an SUV.
NGL you wearing tuxmat t-shirts irks me cause i just bought a CRV and the tuxmats for them are out of stock...
Keep checking!
A BMW X3 or Lexus RX500h seems better for the price
The engines are so loud . But a beautiful car
It doesn't look all new but it kinda does - classic Other Guy from Jakob and the Other Guy.
Hope to see a review of a INEOS soon
Jacob: “Anyways” is not a word. It’s “Anyway”. You’re welcome 😉
What if I want to go multiple ways
wait is this a 2023 or 2024 GLC???
Wayamin i couldve sworn the thumbnail was in the TMNT font
Finger prints seems very bad 😢 ceramic coating might help to keep clean
Insurance company gave me a 2020 or a 2021 GLC300 while my car getting repaired for about 3 weeks. At least on 3-4 occasions, when I applied brakes, the pedal felt dead and I kept on pushing harder but car almost no braking. Could have hit something if I hadn't been careful. Don't know if it is same with other Glc300s.
That is not normal and sounds like an issue with the vehicle you had.
If Continental makes a 165/60 R12 all season tire I’ll buy a set.
What kind of scooter needs tires that small?

RIP MB styling?
some parts of AZ get snow, there are mountains there and they definitely have winter.
I know I know that’s the joke
Barely
Why not do the creak test? Audi and BMW interiors are still about 5-10 years ahead of Merc in quality.
At 6:26 can’t find it help me out
Look harder
Too bad MB Canada does not offer the wagon anymore, better dynamics than the SUV and more practical than the sedan, also it looks better than both (I have the 2019 and offers me the best of both worlds, + it is more unique than a boring sedan or SUV) Wagons are everywhere in Europe but people don't want them here unless it is E63 or RS6
I don't get the mustard. You just left the mustard on the mat?
It’s called humor.
Here in Indonesia the price is $100k for GLC300 😅
Get ready to make several trips to the mechanic.
Really?! I’ve owned two E class sedans for the last eight years and had precisely zero issues beyond normal maintenance.
I own a 2020 GLC 300 and haven't had a single issue.
@@re14437these comments are always made by people who never owned a Mercedes or was sold a lemon lol. So they assume all the vehicles are same. I’ve been with the brand for 10 years, never an issue with none of my vehicles.
@@zanevangogh agreed, or they bought the mercedes used.
@@zanevangoghfr I had owned a c350 for ten years and it had 0 issues other then basic maintenance. Just do your maintenance on time!!
In Japan, drivers can watch tv from the middle touch screen. Thats pretty crazy.
How many sponsors can you fit in one review
Enough to not have our houses repossessed
Im going to be honest with you guys, the finishes on the GLC feel so cheap, especially compared with the GV70, I dont know whats going on in Mercedez it just feels that they are not up to the game anymore with some of the models, specially for the price.
You can absolutely get ventilated seats on an X3
the front end doesn't look nice tbh, doesn't scream like luxury car. The C class looks elegant though but this one is a let down imo
