    I have one of these and i love it. Im only new to the FGC but dove in with this and its been amazing for helping me nail my inputs. I play Gran Blue Fantasy Versus Rising, SF6, Tekken 8, Guilty Gear Strive, DNF Duel.
    I still suck but having the Pro FS always helps me get in the zone when doing training and playing.

    I traded in my Nacon Daija for this beauty, the Nacon was too thick and boxy and the sharp edge at the bottom was a bitch on my wrists so i picked this up and MAN is it an improvement, the huge base, the weight, the thinness of it and the LED lighting is just too cool. The stick and buttons are so smooth and responsive. You really do feel like you are playing with a luxury item.

      The older models had different colors, like the PS4 one came in black. And there were Street Fighter custom etched ones. Since it's officially licensed by Sony, you could get one used in the last gen and still be able to play it on PS4 and PC. That'll even save you some money. I hope that was helpful. I mean, you can be a bit rougher with the metal chassis of the Vitrix sure, but I can't imagine actually being THAT hard on a stick that it's a necessary consideration is a normal thing. Again, I'm NOT saying it's a bad controller. If somebody actually loved me enough to give me one as a gift, I would probably cry, so I KNOW it's good. But despite knowing I could technically order one if I wanted, I just can't fathom why someone would for anything other than clout, which is dumb to me

    I have both the FS and FS12. I took the FS to EVO with me. My buttons are swapped out for Qanba Gravity KS and I also have the Qanba Silent Stick on it. The combination makes for quieter sessions at night, while my wife sleeps in the next room.
    Honestly, it's okay. Victrix sticks are nice but they're not the best I own. That would have to go to either of my Hori VLXs. Also, I don't like the USB port on the Victrix sticks. They seem to allow for way more wiggle than I think a $400 product should. I basically wrapped small rubber bands around my USB inputs to properly wedge them and prevent them from pulling in either direction.
    Recently, I bought a Razer Kitsune. Of the leverless controllers I own, the Kitsune is without a doubt the best-way better than the FS12. For what it is, the FS12 is just far too large (at least by 2023 standards) for a leverless controller. Also, the SOCD mode on the Victrix FS12 isn't CPT legal.

      @@mixmastermitch carry on. I had a backpack dedicated to the stick alone. Gaming laptop in my second carry on (in a laptop bag) so I can get some games in at the hotel. A third (duffel) bag for clothes was checked-in.
      The Kitsune is going to allow me to go next year with one less bag.
      Also, if you're going to do events with the Victrix, I recommend buying the shoulder strap add-on. You can basically wear it like a sling.

    • @BlackReaperXLV
      @BlackReaperXLV 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      As someone who used both stick and leverless whats the difference between the 2? Im looking into getting one and dont know which to go with… looking into a Kitsune from razor or a Victrix Stick

    • @ciscorey6520
      @ciscorey6520 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@BlackReaperXLV for me the main difference is precision. I find that leverless forces me to be accurate in all of my inputs. That and speed. There's no throw with leverless controllers, so doing things like low block reactions in Tekken are almost instantaneous. Even though I still enjoy collecting sticks I'll probably never go back to them for competitive play.
      I do recommend the Kitsune over a Victrix though. For whatever reason, the buttons feel far more responsive (low profile + switches) and their larger diameter makes everything feel much more ergonomic. Couple that with the smaller, more practical, form factor and the Kitsune is a clear winner between the two.

    im not among the people who jumped on the "flatbox" hype train because I don't like such controllers, Prefer playing on Sanwa denshi's personally. I wanted to pick up the Pro FS12 when it launched.
    I really wanna get the victrix but considering its so pricy it should have no compromises. And me needing to choose between L3/R3 just sours this whole product to me and is borderline unacceptable to me and down right arbitrary. Without even going into the useless hand rest IF you play on the FS12 version. (victrix fs price also just casually got increased by 50$ then the earlier one for no reason).
    im sure I would enjoy playing on it and I do want to add it to my collection, But I can't support such a product. Once they fix that its an instant buy for me.

      Well, you could argue that they do though. Since it comes with Sanwa parts and that's for the majority what is preferred by a larger mass of players. If they didn't have that then maybe it wouldn't be taking seriously. "$400 and it doesn't even have Sanwa parts? What a rip off!" Instead it seems more appealing to have well known and trusted brand of parts and become worth it's price. And at the end of the day, we change parts anyway to make it our own, to customize them and set it apart from the rest. It's part of the fun. Thank you for the comment and I hope my response is received well.

  • @darth-umbrex
    @darth-umbrex 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    I believe it's extremely overpriced. I prefer a noir layout and it's not available with the victrix and sanwa components $30 for a full setup. The case and pcb are not worth the additional $300+ especially adding the lack of a plexiglass panel for custom art.

    Best Fightstick in the market? Limited lever support, no custom artwork unless laser engraved which is pricey, no compartment for wire (Looks terrible wrapped on the top), and absolutely overpriced.
    It is a good stick but no where near the best ever. An Obsidian with aluminum panel is cheaper and is a better stick overall in my opinion.

      Thank you for sharing your opinion. What Qanba stick do you have or prefer?

    Ok this guy doesn’t know how to play? How do your joints get sore from sanwa button? Must be one hell of a masher.

    all fight sticks out the box are trash. i’m not modding
    i want a korean style stick for tekken right out of the box
    why can’t someone just do that? the only one in existence ever that i know of is etokki which is a korean only brand… you’d have to import blah blah blah
    not doing all that vitrix pricing is not worth it they will go out of business if 400 dollars is the best they can do for a mediocre stick

    the stick is nice but god damn the sanwa buttons are cheap as fuck compared to others. they are def the worst part of the stick. absolutely terrible.

      Sanwa is what the majority of players look for in a new stick, luckily it's a quick and simple fix to put something you like better in it. I've been trying out the new Qanba Gravity buttons and I've really been enjoying them, what buttons do you prefer?
