    I love my SF6 Alpha. I printed out some Guile art at office max and did a whole art button and lever swap once I got it, since I already had sanwa parts from a previous stick. It definitely was a conversation piece at my local tourney, and carrying it around with the handles was super easy. It’s a perfect convenience stick.

    I actually had tried out both the Hori Fight Stick (the regular, not the Street Fighter 6 edition) and Nacon Daija.
    I first purchased the Hori over Daija because it was cheaper. While it was a good fight stick, i did agree that the stick was a bit loud when inputting buttons and I didn’t like the button wires getting in the way of the cables. After reseaching the Daija again, I returned the Hori for the Daija and fell in love with the Daija fightstick. It was very easy to use, quiet to use the button, easy to mod, and overall a much more appealing fightstick.

    I just got the Xbox Daija and compared it to the Alpha and, all things equal, think the Alpha's ergonomics are vastly superior, especially for lap play. The Daija doesn't have any surface tapers and is thick/boxy, and it rubs against my forearms. I think it would really shine for desk or a cabinet build, but for just sitting on a chair/couch the Alpha is much more comfortable.

    I played on the hori at evo. Project L booth had them for you to play their game with. I like the noir layout and its cool how easy it is to get into but i dont like the hori buttons and the lever is ok but i would swap it for a JLF. The Daija looks sweet and its super crispy inside really good design and it comes with sanwa parts so i would imagine that would be the go to stick for most people for the money.

    I'm looking at getting the Tekken 8 edition of the Alpha. I don't imagine the Hayabusa parts will be an issue for me because the last time I had a stick was the Madcatz TE R2 stick in the early '10s and I cannot for the life of me remember the feel of the Sanwa parts. The cable management seems a bit wack though and I'd probably just wrap the cable around the outside of the stick for storage at home. It's a dumb oversight from Hori it seems.

    God, I wish I knew about the Daija. I have the SF6 Fighting Stick and I agree the Hayabusa lever is just dirty and the buttons are super loud. I had to spend more money on an Otto V5 kit, Qanba Gravity KS buttons, and an aluminum replacement panel which made it cost way more than the starting price of the Daija. It's late for me to return it but I am definitely getting a Daija for home use.

    Honestly the only reason I ended up going with the Hori Alpha over other offerings is because I'm not a fan of the Vewlix button layout and find the noir layout a lot more comfortable. For Tekken 8 I wanted a new stick or an upgrade . And your review and this comparison helped me with deciding what to buy.
    And even though I loved my Hori RAP V for Tekken 7, I decided to get the Nacon Daija for Tekken 8.
    I started with sanwa parts during Tekken 6/SF IV on a mad catz TE stick and wanted to go back to those buttons.
    The Nacon Daija is easily my favorite arcade stick so far because of all the cool modern features. The wrist position took 1-2 days to get used but after a few weeks I just dont wanna put this stick down.
    My trusty RAP V got two upgrades aswell, new sanwa buttons in matching red colors to go with the korean lever "New Helpme".
    Thanks for your videos that convinced me to go for the Nacon Daija 🙏

    Something I missed in your review, comparisons is the button layout used. They are mostly the same, but HORI uses a different one. Which layout is more comfortable?

    • @ButtonClubFGC
      @ButtonClubFGC  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The Hori uses a Noir layout and the Nacon uses a Vewlix layout. The difference is subtle, but still notable. Noir layout has more distance between the stick and buttons, and the buttons have an arched layout. Like a rainbow. The Vewlix has a short distance between stick and buttons and the button layout is 3 straight across and the first buttons of each row are dropped lower. As far as what’s more comfortable, that’s personal preference. One is not inherently better than the other, just a slightly different way of doing the same thing. I hope this was helpful, thank you for the comment and support.

      There are many stick enclosures to choose from. Names like For The Win, FoeHammer, and even Eternal Rivals if you’re looking for more of a budget build. Most popular stick companies have the Sanwa JlF and that’s the best stock stick to come with it for the masses. The only stick that comes with a Korean style lever is the Etoki stick and FightStick Asia. I encourage you to do your research and find what’s best for you. Thanks for the comment and support.

    I think the fact that the Daija can also swap out its artwork, has a detachable cable, more convenient wire management, and a R3/L3 is what locks in my decision entirely.

Im currently playing with an analog using the hori commander octa, do you think i will be more suited with an arcade stick rather than leverless? The problem with nacon daija is the market availability ..it's only sold in European and UK only. can't find in US, Asia, Mid East and APAC. But it is the best stick, way better than Victrix too. Physical downside is the weight. It is heavier than Razer Atrox / Panthera !! Imagine if you had to carry this to local casual or major tourneys. Still....the Nacon Daija Ps5 has smaller dimension in size, it might easily fit your travelling backpack, compared to HFSA-SF6....It's quite enormous!

There’s nothing really wrong with the Hori, or any of them for that matter. Either way you’re getting a great product to enjoy for years to come. With the extra $120, you could use that to upgrade the Hori. Thanks for the question and support. I hope you enjoy your new stick.

    The Daija destroys the alpha hands down. The only thing that I would want different about the Daija is the noir layout, thats it. I own alot of Hori products and the alpha is just cheap feeling and is going to have problems. Because of it not being sealed up entirely and the wire placement. It will be interesting if Hori makes the fighting edge again. The Daija works on pc, ps3, ps4 and ps5. Sanwa parts come with it, all you need is a removable joystick mod to this and it is the best option for travel. People that use this at locals prefer it over the alpha and are selling the alpha if they own it because they realize the alphas short comings. Some of these guys are like forget it I will go back to my HRAP 3 and use a converter for the new games.

You buy one, you buy more, you don’t use the old ones, you upgrade the new one, you try to customise the old ones, you got too many spare parts lying around, you try to sell old ones, you end up spending a lot of money then you found a new hobby and you just repeat the cycle.

      I didn't find them janky, although they are just plastic. I think the slack in the hinges are the way they are because of how the top panel adjusts itself to fit in place when it's opened and closed. I hate how fight stick manufacturers never make their sticks long enough for tall people.
    It's like every fuckin stick is designed for some damn 5 foot 5 tiny person.
    It's like you either have to give up palm space or you have to give up length for playing on your lap.
    The Obsidian is one of the only modern sticks long enough to be comfortable for tall people. The Dragon is longer but it was so damn heavy that it's uncomfortable for the lap. Even the TE2 to is not long enough.
    The Hori Fighting Edge being the other exception to that. But it's not native to modern consoles.

    • @hanzohattori9576
      @hanzohattori9576 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The hell are you smoking? With arcade sticks, especially Hori, you get what you pay for and both are the same price so the quality is the same. But Hori quality consistency is much better than Nacon. Arcade sticks at that price in general are already overdoing it in build quality.
      Also, the alpha is a replacement for RAP N which already is used in tournaments. Angry bird uses it. Hori alpha is already the most popular arcade stick in its category and is being used in tournaments.
      But saying "it's tournament grade" means nothing because hell, people are using the Qanba Drone in tournaments.

    • @Lolo.13
      @Lolo.13 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@hanzohattori9576 Calm down kid, I understand I upset you.
      You should explain to me how Hori quality is better than Nacon, just because you say it doesn't mean it is the case, where are your arguments? do you know what an argument is?
      I'll give you an example, personally I wouldn't take the risk of playing in a tournament with a stick that has such a crappy connection cable like the alpha
      Most Pro players have custom sticks, prove to me that the Angry Bird one doesn't have a Brooks card with better connections.
      People who don't have shit in their eyes have realized that Hori has made a stick of the economy, after saying that he is popular that in no way defines his quality, the rotten food of Mc Do is popular too.

    I Love the Daija's look but the latency is stupidly slow if you do your research. It's really one of those $60-$80 China arcade sticks rebranded. Got the Hori Fighting Alpha and The Qanba Titan and I've really been happy with them. I wonder why it's very rare that youtube reviewers talk about an arcade stick's input latency when we pay premium dollars for them. And that topic is really objective and not subjective.

    • @Andearoid
      @Andearoid ปีที่แล้ว +3

      latency issue with the Daija is about the old model befor the 2.04 firmware release. new Daija model results are around 3 and 4ms without overclocking. the Titan, the Alpha and the Victrix provide approximativly the same latency. in my opinion the best deal is a DIY arcade stick with a Brook Universal Controler.
