- An unexpected event was happened when I was managed to get a better retake of the touchless elevators (which is, this is my fifth retake). It was working well until the elevator reach floor 1A. Elevator was going down hardly and shakes, like a death-trap elevator. And well, this is a modded elevator, so maybe the machine and motors are in old age (31 year old).
After getting stuck in the elevator, and found out that the doors aren't opened by the buttons, so I push the emergency button. But sadly, there are no intercom or any communication from control room. So I managed to call my relatives that getting a help. After holding the emergency button, it should have connected to the control or security room. But probably the intercom is turned off at that time. They should fix it.
And if you get trapped inside elevator, try to get help by pushing the emergency button. If you're called by intercom, ask for help and keep calm while waiting. If the intercom didn't work, try to call any emergency phones (like police number, or emergency number that provided in the elevator - some elevators have an emergency number). Or call your relatives or friend that in the same place.
Hope this kind of event is not happened in other elevator ride, especially on my elevator filming adventure.

Same day of this, i stuck alone inside this elevator,
I try press everything (button and alarm)
And its not working,
10 minutes later, the power went down,
1 hour later, finally the elevator start moving after i hold the alarm for 23 minutes.
i never seen myself stuck on a elevator, it's very scary tbh if i feel like the elevator is not moving
The motor limit timer has died.
That's why I always a bring 100+ dB whistle on me when I'm in the lift so if the alarm won't work the whistle sound can penetrate through the shaft
I think what happened is the safety interlock somehow became disengage and safety break the elevator

What if communication devices in the car are down and your phone can't get service in it? Then what do you do?
Keep waiting until someone came to rescue me along with pressing the emergency button.
This is a issue amongst most asian style lifts probably because the lift hit one of the door rollers. But some lifts do not end up stuck like this one did.

The Lift Alarm Has The Car Horn Sound
Hampir mirip dengan kejadian gw di Ngee Ann City, Singapore akhir 2015 silam di mana lift barang yg gw naikin tiba-tiba berhenti keras di lantai 4 terus sempat stuck di situ bentar (indicator nunjukkin "OUT OF SERVICE") sebelum akhirnya turun ke bawah.
Pernah liat videonya, dan stop-nya lift ini persis kayak yang di situ. Cuman bedanya ini gak jalan lagi, dan akhirnya malah stuck.

Sebenarnya dulu saya pernah kejadian kayak gitu, saya tidak berani kalau naik lantai 2 takut ada masalah kendala tombol, mending saya lewat eskalator itu lebih aman

I've ride Sigma Elevator last 4 years ago, when I was in Yogyakarta, and then in Cipanas last 3 years (IRIS model) then last year I was in Mall Artha Gading to get the first record of the scenic elevators but it was working until now and I never got stuck, anyways you can check my video.
Intercom itu sangat wajib buat di lift jika kalau terjebak.
Btw, aku dulu pernah mengalami terjebak di lift pas di Mal Panakkukang pas mau turun eh tiba-tiba mati lampu sekitaran semenit, eh pas setelah insiden mati lampu lift itu kembali ke lantai sebelumnya.

Moga-moga ini nggak akan kejadian di Plasa Simpang Lima, soalnya liftnya juga GoldStar dari tahun yang sama (1989), yang sudah dimod sama Sigma juga di sekitar tahun yang sama dengan lift ini (~2011). Tambah lagi liftnya suka error, terus malnya sendiri kurang terawat...
Kalau kata petugas malnya sih lift ini kurang terawat, dibanding lift lainnya. Wajar aja, lokasinya yang di luar mal (tepatnya di parkiran).
@@NP1C Kurang tahu apakah lift yang di PSL terawat atau nggak, tapi yang jelas gedungnya dan eskalatornya kurang terawat.
Btw, soal interkom, jangan-jangan memang belum ada interkomnya? Maksudnya sewaktu modernisasi jangan-jangan cuma ganti fixtures aja, sedangkan yang lain-lain (permesinan dan elektronik) masih original?
@@wiwuuvators bisa jadi. Pintu luar juga masih original, bahkan chime dan voiceover masih ada (cuman voice "naik ke atas/turun ke bawah" sudah tiada). Bahkan aku curiga kalau misal mesin dan komponen dalam lift ini masih ori, makanya bisa jatuh sedikit dan akhirnya stuck
@@NP1C Sepertinya alarm juga bisa menjadi salah satu bukti kalau komponen-komponennya masih ori. Kalau LG-OTIS atau Sigma alarmnya harusnya berbunyi seperti "tut-tut-tut" gitu kan, bukannya "buzz" seperti yang satu ini?
@@wiwuuvators yes. Kalau alarm lift Sigma seharusnya berbunyi beep putus² ketimbang beep panjang seperti dalam video ini.

Duh jadi ingat kejadian di kampusku tahun 2017 dan lalu di Marvell City tahun 2019 (yes, all are 2010s Hyundai), kasus agak mirip dengan ini mana yg di kampus pas ada kerja kelompok jadi buru2 banget ke atas akhirnya pas dah terbuka aku lanjutkan pake tangga biasa, cuma yg lucunya yg di Marvell mau turun ke lantai dasar malah habis stuck kita dikembalikan ke lantai 3 (kebetulan kejadian pas turun dr lt 3)
Lah ini gak jalan sama sekali, setelah stuck. Adanya panah dari lift berubah, sedangkan posisi tetap di antara dua lantai.

hampir sama dengan saya di salah satu hotel saat liburan, dan brand nya sama dengan video ini, terjebak selama hampir 5 menit
I got trapped on the lifts at Weizmann Center in Tel Aviv, since 2015 it happened to me several times and I even got one on camera.
Pernah kena kayak gini (mirip² dikit lah), lagi naik lift (brand MP, dulunya itu lift thyssen tpi keknya di replaced sm brand apa ya lupa) di RS RKZ Surabaya, dikondisi itu ada banyak orang dan satu orang dikasur (kondisi sadar, ga ada emergency), nah kita naik ke lantai 2 dari lantai 1, tiba² baru naik udh stuck aja, 1 lift ya panik sih, cm gue aja yang ga panik, mencet emergency bell , nah pas udah 13 menit barulah ada respon, liftnya turun kembali ke lantai 1, akhirnya semua orang selamat keluar dari lift, yang di kasur akhirnya pindah ke lift OTIS Gen2 yang di gedung lain, di gedung itu juga dimana kakakku operasi usus buntu.
Nampaknya lift itu sekarang udah diganti ke MacPhuarsa

This one is not a manual elevator, because it can be controlled automatically by just press the button, not pressing the "UP/DOWN" button manually like some manual elevators.
