It still amazes me that with all the technology we have we still have elevators that get stuck. There should be enough redundancy in elevators to default to the nearest floor and automatically open. From there the elevator quits until an elevator tech can see what's wrong with it. For an elevator to just fart out however is totally unacceptable today.
I disagree with you. the reason why it gets stuck is because it breaks. The key word here is that it is broken. So for the safety of the people inside, it is best for the elevator to stay locked where it is until it is drifted down the shaft by firefighters in the machine room
I got stuck once in the elevator the runs up the outside of the Hilton Riverside Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana during a raging thunderstorm. The lightning at that high level was intense.
@@liftsofsocal That's a glass wall elevator that runs up the outside of the hotel so you can see the skyline of New Orleans. There's a restaurant on the top floor, and I got stuck almost immediately going down.
To be fair, idk who those guys are…are they some friends of yours? Im just worried cause y know they keep interrupting the intro and your video…again, idk what is up
its very dengerous as some lift may not have a very good door lock and what if it starts moving and also some elevators have a door lock that will keep the door shut
Prying the doors open on elevators should only be done by trained professionals, and this was at a public shopping mall so we were out within 11 minutes.
@@NewbieIsHereFirst honestly I have been videotaping elevator vids on my other channel for a long time and I know it’s Mitsubishi cause my dad worked on it idiot

for sure agreed
It’s a machine and like all machines and equipment, things break and require maintenance.

i disagree with you because it is usuay safer for it to do that
The elevator used the brake way to early. That is why.
You’re right

At least u could look outside. To me, the worst thing about elevators is being enclosed and not knowing where you are.

@@aybgreg6748 No No it is completely safe as there is brakes that cling onto the tracks if a freefall happenes (probally new elevator only)
@@jzban1067 ppl with elevator-related claustrophobia don't care about a free-fall. We just wanna get out of the elevator; or see where we are.
