My pleasure! Are you dyeing basket reed?
I’m new to basketweaving and I’d like to know- can the dye bleed if the reed gets wet? I’m part of a reenactment group and a lot of what I could make will get exposed to the elements. Any insight or advice would be helpful, thanks!
If you rinse with vinegar water thoroughly you shouldn't have any dye bleed.

Looks amazing! Do you know if there is a place you can get willow for weaving? Ive always wondered if the techniques for reed are usable for willow.
I’ve found willow from some shops on Etsy. If you find a local basketry guild they probably have access to willow. Sounds like a fun experiment ahead 😃
