Canadian builder made homes have excellent designs in open concept. Normally, most homes are builder designed and constructed and only very few are custom made. Custom made has the great advantage of making our own design but if you screw up the design, it's a different story.

Own construction. Because if you buy a completed house the builders do it on large scale and the material and insulation are cheap . You can't see inside the walls once its all seaweed and painted.
