    Neat feature. Not enough for me to ever go back to cubase. I tried using it for years snd it never resonated with me as a DAW. It has been close to twenty years since i looked at it though. lol. Maybe Ill take a look again.
    I just picked up Scaler 2 which is a pretty amazing plugin for scales. I found just by playing with it Im learning a lot more and it offers a lot of great suggestions for alternate chords and scales.Its incredibly full featured. Ive resigned myself to the fact my understanding of music theory is crap and things like this are very useful in helping me create music. As always thanks for the demo!

    The chord pads are great for non-keyboard players, but just playing block chords can make the music a bit lifeless. Could you maybe make a video showing how to edit the recorded midi to sound more like it was played by a keyboard player/pianist? e.g. bringing the notes in one at a time, alternating between the main triad and the root an octave below, etc. Just an idea anyway, thanks for the videos :)

    • @angelinagargano3940
      @angelinagargano3940 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can assign different players on different instruments and you can import midi loops to play the chords in different styles ...just a sec I will find the video that shows this...

Supposed I manually played a pattern (soul/regge etc.) on a VST Piano (might be any piano from Kontakt or Keyzone) and want that subsequent chords as assigned by me for that song would automatically take the pattern from which I played and play accordingly. Is is possible? If so then a tutorial on that would be quite helpful.

    Hi is there anyway to disable chord pads. As it seems to take priority over my key step midi controller. And I only get sounds if I select chord pads as my midi input. But nothing when choosing my key step. Even tho I can see my midi coming in from the key step. Any help would be great I’ve tried everything and can’t seem to get it to work. It was was working fine until I dropped audio on to the chord track to find the chords of a song I was remixing.

    Hi Jeff, could you explain, I thought drop voicings was dropping the number of the note in the chord not the degree number, so in Cubase 13 I have Cmaj7 root position, when I use Cubase drop facility, drop 2 drops the G, not as I expected the E, Drop 3 drops the E, Drop 2+4 drops C& G That I don’t understand, have I misunderstood the drop rule ?
