Amazing video you always bring very high quality in your videos in terms of knowledge and execution. A TIP for anyone watching this with merging midi in loop (Cubase) , if you have other tracks make sure you solo the track you want to merge and your time line is highlighting only that track. Its not enough to highlight the track if you do you will merge the midi data with all the other tracks in the same timeline. It had me tearing my hair out as I could not work out what was wrong. But if you solo the track then if will merge only that track.

what I really need, is for someone to make a video, about how to convert audio to MIDI, in Cubase.

Oh this is so great! Thank you!
Although I don’t think my version of Cubase has these feature as mine is a pretty limited version that came stock with guitar interface.

Thanks so much for watching! I don't have any experience with any version of Cubase except Elements and Pro, but I'm guessing if it came with the guitar interface its probably pretty limited!

Thank you Simon for sharing your knowledge, you are an excellent teacher. I am working with cubase elements but unfortunally i can't find the "midi inserts" neither the "arpache sx" plug in, i guess i have to get the cubase artist or pro for these functions. Greetings from Colombia.

I am not 100% familiar but I am aware that there are some annoying limitations that Elements does not have. Thank you for watching!

Can Cubase create it's own chords if I just played the melody?

Great video! I've been watching all your videos in the past 5 or 6 days. I am a beginner composer from Brazil and I'd like to know if there's an e-mail that I can get in touch with you or with you team? Thank you for everything and every video.
    Greetings from Brazil.

Cubase is so user-unfriendly that we need tutorials like yours to find our way through the multitude of microscopic buttons and links.
And how about that sh*tty small bar at the bottom? How do you make it disappear? It's always in the way and it seems to serve no purpose. Even when you think you've closed the program it's still there. Also, with every new version Cubase the volume seems to be getting lower. I have to crank up the speaker volume to hear anything at all.
Having said this: thanks for your useful advice. Very much appreciated.

    Good evening.
I created a chord track, as usual I insert an instrument track to listen to the chords and then add a Voce wave track, setting it to follow the chord track and everything is fine.
I insert a wave track from Media Cubase or in any case another wave track as a synth guitar pad, the sound that comes out is fluctuating and out of tune. Both Stereo and mono. Where's the catch?! Thanks to anyone who can answer and resolve.
