Went from a giant tree dragon that changes seasons to the gog damn Soul of Cinder! This game is brilliant
I'm glad it's not Bed of Chaos. It would take a deliberate effort to make something that bad ever again.
Dude thats what i was thinking, like the last 2 fights felt like elden rings final 2 story bosses in reverse. The final fight had more a dark souls vibe than most of the the other game. Albeit was a bit lackluster fighting the being. Definitely a difficult game with a curve but once you get past it, it feels pretty satisfying.
So Mujina is an ancient hunter. and its his body you find in the beginning with the karakuri seed and impends its power in to you. So this means the Celestial Dragon is part of the cycle or renewal; whenever the land begins to lose celestial thread is eradicates the land so the celestial thread can replenish and begin the cycle again. this is what im understanding from the cutscenes
It's really weird to see a man-with-sword type boss fight in a Monster Hunter-style game.

The story is "Nature is vile, worthless and deserves to go extinct for the glorious, majestic human race." This is one of the worst piles of garbage I've every seen, and the fact that NO ONE is calling these people out for their horrible message is horrifying. It really makes me fear for the future of this planet and humanity. Humans have become more and more narcissistic over the years, and this game is the peak of their narcissism and hatred of nature.
I wonder if you can fight the forms separately after the ending ?
Only the Dragon unfortunately. Maybe that will change in the future

I think they just passed out, if you remember that mid cutscene where we go to investigate the forest fire post-GoldenTempest/Emberplume fight, and also after the Amaterasu fight? I think our Karukuri seed just causes us a lot of distress

@@lucastolter6344 it does use lightning attacks, I guess reference to rain in Spring, fire attacks at summer, I think blows you around at autumn, and ice attack at winter.

Just because it's the same genre doesn't mean u should hate it. Competition is good for stuff. If there is no competition the game would end up as Pokémon were they don't try and pump out rubbish.
Also the final boss is a human. Literally the least predictable outcome

Wildhearts' kemono designs just feel very uninspired compared to other designs in the genre. I'd also not say it tries to be monster hunter rise sunbreak if that wasn't something that was apparent to me.
I can't reasonably say it's a pure coincidence that a game from the same genre takes place in a setting similar to feudal japan, and that the final boss is linked to similarly shaped although differently colored flying creatures. Not to mention how this game came out not long after monster hunter rise sunbreak.
Yeah, they're the same genre, but feudal Japan isn't an aspect of that genre specifically.
I mean Rathalos is literally just a bog standard dragon so I don’t see the issue mh has uninspired monster designs in my opinion

monster hunter monsters are often designed to be their own creature even if they are a 'bog standard dragon'.
Rathalos, for instance, was redesigned three times with the intent of making it look more like a semi-realistic flying predator.
