What did he mean at the end he wasn’t sure it went in when you powershift it ? The car is synchro gears no? So he would’ve had to clutch in and whack it in or did the strain gauge eliminate the need to use a clutch thought that was only applicable to dog gears

Using clutch in coordination with a strain. Just the clutch won’t line up

It's probably easier to do this when you have someone to rebuild your tranny on a weekly basis, and an expert tuner, and driver and...
Some people make excuses. Others make it happen.
Anyone can do this, it just takes work.
@@humbleperformance I'm not pursuing this in a Honda at least and you missed my point. I'm saying it's a little easier with full shop support behind you. I'll bet there are plenty of other shops that will make excuses though. The exciting or terrifying part is if you look at the progression of these cars once an accomplishment is made within 3-5 years it starts becoming not necessarily normal but at least more widespread.

Im thinking that affects the civics stellar gas mileage.
The AWD kills a lot of MPG. Car gets ~14-17 mpg. It’s on e85, so a 19-21mpg gasoline car. About the same as a CRV which makes sense.
