Same here, bud. Maximum Male Models were and still potentially are quality entertainment. Dio Maddin and Mansoor finally got the opportunity to show some personality. And they nailed it. How they got the Wrestling Observer Newsletter's Worst Gimmick of The Year Award in 2022, when Joe Gacy and his creepy cronies were featured prominently on NXT, is beyond me.
The last 10 Austin theory matches have all been duds. The crowd is dead silent on them or chanting boring. Austin Theory isn't ready for the main roster
I think he is, he just needs the right opponent, and to drop the gold. The problem is the fans think he's being pushed down their throats because he's a vince guy and has held the US title on and off for well over a year now. Drop the title to Santos Escobar, go on a whiny tirade, get some wins on smackdown and work his way back up to the US title, then maybe people will react better. They certainly can't call his style boring, he's great in the ring.
I wish more people backstage in wwe took a stand on Vince. Like think of how much it would mean if Roman said that “Vince had good ideas in the past, but now he is ruining the company” or Steph saying that she “loves her father, but for the benefits of the company he needs to step down and step away forever”. Because the complaints by the fans aren’t doing much sadly.
Or at least in something really Cause let’s be honest has he REALLY done anything, more so anything unique since pretty much EVERYONE has feuded with The Miz by this point
HHH didn't do anything with the factions he bringed back or with the womens division before Vince came back. He is better than Vince but nowhere near perfect
The only times that title was even watched was when Enzo and Pak had it. It's chances of success were proven when 205 Live was the most unwatched segment in wrestling. Besides, I'd rather see those guys not pigeonholed in the "small" belt. This isn't boxing.
Most of these guys and girls are not cut out to be main event guys and girls. Especially Johnny Gargano who has been exposed really badly on the main roster as significantly smaller than even Chad Gable who is considered small in WWE.
A wrestler's size should NOT be indicative of wether or not they're "main event" worthy. Are they entertaining in the ring?? Do they have good mic work?? Do they connect with the fans?? If the answer is yes to all three then I see no reason why a "smaller" guy can't reach the top.
@@davidparkes7741exactly People who think sizes matters need only look at Kevin Nash, his time as world champion sucked and actual LOST WWF money People wanted the smaller Bret and Shawn, at least smaller when compared to Vince’s preferred guys by that point, is the prime example Then there’s the more “recent” cases with guys like Danielson who people largely wanted over “bigger” guys like Batista, Orton, and Cena Besides any belief he isn’t connecting would only fly if he was able to ACTUALLY do something on the main roster, he’s hardly had any matches and only been in a few segments that weren’t much of anything to begin with Unlike say Roman who gets several minutes just for his entrance or on the lower card side Waller who has a several minute talk show segment
I wouldn't say "Butch" couldn't be a champion because of his name alone. I remember when he debuted, the word was "Such a bad name...can you imagine him being announced as champion?" Then he was. Hell, you could make the same argument for Sheamus. Just a first name.
I could actually care less about most of this list, with the exceptions of DIY and Dunne. Dunne is SO damn good in the ring, and his heel character from NXT is one of the most badass characters ever. There’s absolutely ZERO reason for him to not be pushed. As for DIY, as much as I would LOVE to see them reunited, I have little hope of it ever happening since we know that Vince doesn’t care for tag team wrestling. That being said, KO/Sami vs DIY would absolutely slap. I wish the old man would just retire already.
I wonder if Gargano is regretting not following Adam Cole to AEW at this point, where Cole is one of the best things in wrestling at the moment with MJF, while Gargano is doing... nothing.
Um, Chad Gable is featured every week and was pushed pretty well when Alpha Academy was first formed. All the Triple H favourites are massively overhyped & aren't that good.
Let me count the guys vinnymac is right about! Ill get back to this list in 9 minutes! So far 2 are right on! Gable deserves a push, but not to the top! Maybe a challenger to rollins. Vinci is being pushed well in imperium! Give vinci and ludwig some time to get over as a tag! They're getting there! Piper and grimes have miles to go! ....so do the triple m! Dunne is like gable.....see gable insert! Also hes like vinci, just let dunne and his partner get over! Cross has already been pushed, and can been put right back in. And diy......god no! Gargano agitates my gravel bad, ciampa is good, another see gable insert.
McDonagh can still interfere and help Balor win at SummerSlam. Gargano is injured, so why should The Way be featured prominently without him? Gable has said he is happy under Triple H's regime. Niven is still recovering after an illness. Why does this guy make these lists without knowing the context of why many of these Superstars are away? Very disappointing; I expected better. Also, honestly, not all of the Superstars on this list will ever really be believable World Champions. Quite frankly, not everyone has to to be successful. Please do better lists next time.
I remember when Uncle Paul was rightfully seen as someone who buried talent unless they fell in line with what he wanted from them. I guess after decades of getting scraps of what they want some folks are willing to see a swamp as an oasis. With Vince now being presented as a boogeyman (and rightfully so because he is a vulgar little monster) Paul looks like a savior.
What an absolute load. Triple H deeply understands that NXT and WWE are two completely different products. WWE has a far greater pressure from advertisers, networks, and other partners. He learned how to run Raw and Smackdown from Vince himself. He's not being held back, he's just not the booker you thought he was. Honestly, I was one person who thought we might see WWE be run like a wrestling company if Trips was in charge. How utterly naieve I was.
Wow a video straight out of an indie wrestling fan's Twitter page. I like how Vince is portrayed as incompetent, but without him this channel wouldn't talk about WWE. I mean he must have done something right since you started watching WWE instead of i don't know TNA. And don't tell me that ALL of vince's good stories were made by other people... The hate on Vince just stinks of "appeal to social media" vibe which a lot of channels do nowdays. (Just goes to show you how many people are not agreeing in the comments, even Adam Blampied is not enough to save this bs)
To be fair Vince has proven numerous times to be quite out of touch Need I point to his attempts in regards to Mainstream via XFL, Tout, The Network (which he ended up selling to another company so he no longer has to pay people on a large scale to deal with it), and turning his talent into Movie Stars (under his control mind you) Then there’s the whole, by this point proven, problem of only pushing properly talent that HE wants over then even trying to see what happens when he lets an organic push go through He’ll seemingly gives the fans what they want only to very quickly embarrass them and diminish them into nothing Zack Ryder, nearly Bryan, Cesaro, Rusev, Sandow, etc Whether they succeed or fail should not be at the sole whim of Vince who won’t truly let them even try and instead just drop them after usually one or two big moments within like one month at best Heck his biggest success weren’t even really his own, The Rock and Stone Cold were more their personal ideas with help from others Vince gave us The Ringmaster, who was mostly only know for being brought up under The Million Dollar Man And Rocky Maivia was by and large HATED by the audience practically being the precursor to early Roman Reigns
Yeah, because WrestleTalk knows it's Vince not allowing them to be pushed lol. Maybe Triple H himself doesn't really rate them as anything than just being a member of the roster. The Vince McMahon derangement syndrome is strong
Exactly. Triple H brought those people back for depth in a thin roster. He doesn't rate everyone to the same level as the stars that have been established in the past decade
i know wwe doesn’t do this often BUT what if the JD MCDONNAUGH thing is that they showed him early in the balor and priest dissension as like a red herring. they dropped a lil seed and then boom he disappears just enough for us to forget about him and then when things are all good in the judgement day BOOOOOM MM JD STRIKES JD when you least expect it even tho it’s been in out face the whole time …. or he’s never to be seen again anywhere near judgement day and that’s that lol
Love Gargano. Loved DIY.... I DID NOT like The Way at all. I thought it was hokey. Bring Back DIY...then give em a breakup and let Johnny Wrestling and The Blackheart burn the house down on the big stage....throw a title in there like The US title....yeah....hell yeah
Seriously, how does Omos have more PPV matches than Johnny Wrestling this year alone? Come on, give this guy a mid-card push at the very least, instead of what he’s doing right now…which is NOTHING! Just imagine Gargano vs. Gunther for the I.C. Title. 🤩
No no nikki was used under vince. Vince dangled the possibility of her being something only fir her to be fed to Charlotte to increase Charlotte's title wins and then dropped to where she is now never to see the belt again
The thing abt The Way, though: they work best as a heel group, and a lot of their appeal overlaps with the Judgement Day (being wholesome to each other while being jerks to everyone else), so... maybe it's just a case of not enough space for them in currentl climate...? I dunno.
They'd make great foils for Judgment Day, Ciampa, Gargano and Lumis to take care of Finn, Dom and Priest, and because Rhea is a dominant threat, you'd need Candice and Indi working together to try and take her down.
eh you don't really know who really wants to push who... for example I don't think jordan devlin is a triple h guy necessarily and btw 7:11 we thought the same thing about GUNTHER... and he turned out pretty well^^
I think Pete dunne will get his name back after the brawling brutes (someday) breakup. The name works for his role in this faction if it ain't broke don't fix it
Chad gable missed his pin pull in the king of the ring final against baron carbin he was over and could of been the start of something and could of been a next kurt angle and nicky cross physio gimmick is awsome and the womans division needs a lift and more characters as everyone of them feels the same as the next
This videos truly encapsulates why I can’t get on board with WWE as long as Vince is around. Because of his fickleness and weird outlook, great wrestlers aren’t given the opportunities they deserve. Same can be said about AEW but it’s super blatant with WWE.
I feel so bad for Maximum Male Models. They were so very entertaining and hilarious. I think they may have gotten shafted in favour of Pretty Deadly...
I feel like the reason the Maximum Male Models are getting repackaged are simply because WWE don't want them to be so similar to Pretty Deadly, in being overly flamoyant pretty boys. Of course, there are small differences, but generally speaking, they both cover the same type of character.
I’d agree to this, if we didn’t have a lacking tag division (for both genders) and TWO shows It even work if they created a rivalry on who’s the better team but never being able to properly challenge the other because THE BRAND SPLIT is actually in effect Longterm ends up leading to a tag match on like Survivor Series or something
Gable not being pushed makes no sense. He's literally Kurt Angle, just a little shorter. Same comedic chops, same wrestling ability, same power. Scratch that, hes stronger than Kurt was.
I believe he also has the advantage of not having a worrisome injury that could effect his longterm career Ie Kurt’s bad neck he’s had since his Olympic Career
You didnt have to make DIY 2 different spots on the list, especially when they were your #1. There are plenty more talents that are never getting pushed...
I never thought I'd see the day people defend Triple H and talk about how unfair it is he can't push people when he spent his entire in-ring career doing the exact opposite to the point it became a meme.

I hope MMM get pushed. They are hilarious and you can feel how much they love the business. Seeing them on UUDD makes me excited to be a fan.
Always love an Adam video
Weird thing with gargano is vince actually wanted him back when he had left
Who care if WWE is not using these Superstars. We got the Bloodline storyline.
@@lilsunny7399Austin Theory is also a Triple H, guy just saying. He was high on him in NXT
LA Knight is gonna get the Daniel Bryan treatment
Am I right in thinking that Vince really wanted Gargano to stay before he left a couple of years ago?
Probably the same as most people, he just wanted him so no one else could have him. It happens all the time.
Vince as pasted it that big time
Guys, let's not pretend that Johnny Gargano or Karrion Kross were being pushed before Vince came back...this isn't just a Vince thing.
Dexter Lumis has such a good look, he could absolutely KILL higher in the card.
Or at least in something really
Cause let’s be honest has he REALLY done anything, more so anything unique since pretty much EVERYONE has feuded with The Miz by this point
No ones gonna talk about the Beatles melody for JD McDonough's intro? 😂 Or am I just old?
isnt the reason for both The Way and DIY being on the backburner that Gargano is currently injured?
Now we need 10 Vince guys Triple H won’t push.
1,3,5,7,9: Miz
2,4,6,8,10: Ziggler
The 2023 draft is gonna go down as one of the worst. People crossing brands immediately and NXT superstars not even actually debuting. Its madness
I don't think they've changed "Butch" because it's not holding him down. He's still able to do Pete Dunne things.
Vince McMahon has got to go, plain and simple!!! 😡😡😡😡
HHH didn't do anything with the factions he bringed back or with the womens division before Vince came back. He is better than Vince but nowhere near perfect
sources: trust me bro
I'd like to see HHH bring back the cruiserweight title. And have it defended on all three brands.
@@davidparkes7741 Johnny doesn't connect with the main roster crowd. He needs to go back to NXT.
@@davidparkes7741exactly
People who think sizes matters need only look at Kevin Nash, his time as world champion sucked and actual LOST WWF money
People wanted the smaller Bret and Shawn, at least smaller when compared to Vince’s preferred guys by that point, is the prime example
Then there’s the more “recent” cases with guys like Danielson who people largely wanted over “bigger” guys like Batista, Orton, and Cena
Besides any belief he isn’t connecting would only fly if he was able to ACTUALLY do something on the main roster, he’s hardly had any matches and only been in a few segments that weren’t much of anything to begin with
Unlike say Roman who gets several minutes just for his entrance or on the lower card side Waller who has a several minute talk show segment
I wouldn't say "Butch" couldn't be a champion because of his name alone. I remember when he debuted, the word was "Such a bad name...can you imagine him being announced as champion?" Then he was. Hell, you could make the same argument for Sheamus. Just a first name.
Maybe WWE has a problem with Disney and The Mandalorian... "This is The Way"
I didn't know Adam worked for WWE. I mean, how else could he make all these assumptions about who wants who pushed?
Why can't we have DIY vs KO and Sami... that would be soooooo good... come on Trip's make it happen... 💪
I wonder if Gargano is regretting not following Adam Cole to AEW at this point, where Cole is one of the best things in wrestling at the moment with MJF, while Gargano is doing... nothing.
I mean it took awhile for Adam to take off. Gargano will soon be on TV.
@@moonshadow0078do recall Adam did get injured pretty badly
@arashitendou5941 yes he was out for a while but I don't remember him doing much of significance before that happened
Piper Niven is so good looking it frustrates me that she is not featured more often
I want Cameron Grimes pushed
McDonagh can still interfere and help Balor win at SummerSlam. Gargano is injured, so why should The Way be featured prominently without him? Gable has said he is happy under Triple H's regime. Niven is still recovering after an illness. Why does this guy make these lists without knowing the context of why many of these Superstars are away? Very disappointing; I expected better.
Also, honestly, not all of the Superstars on this list will ever really be believable World Champions. Quite frankly, not everyone has to to be successful. Please do better lists next time.
Piper vs Ripley YES YES YES
For anyone who thinks Paul can push whoever he wants with regards to the fact that he's supposed to be "Head Of Creative"....
When he was an active wrestler that may have been true but it hasn't been true since he took over creative.
Secret #0 L.A. Knight (YEAH!)
I think the title should also be called "10 WWE Stars That Might Get Fired After This Year's SummerSlam"...since it looks like that might happen.
😒
Dexter Lumis has pulled them millions of views on TH-cam alone. Millions.
Always seeing Chad Gable on lists like this breaks my heart.
To be fair Vince has proven numerous times to be quite out of touch
Need I point to his attempts in regards to Mainstream via XFL, Tout, The Network (which he ended up selling to another company so he no longer has to pay people on a large scale to deal with it), and turning his talent into Movie Stars (under his control mind you)
Then there’s the whole, by this point proven, problem of only pushing properly talent that HE wants over then even trying to see what happens when he lets an organic push go through
He’ll seemingly gives the fans what they want only to very quickly embarrass them and diminish them into nothing
Zack Ryder, nearly Bryan, Cesaro, Rusev, Sandow, etc
Whether they succeed or fail should not be at the sole whim of Vince who won’t truly let them even try and instead just drop them after usually one or two big moments within like one month at best
Heck his biggest success weren’t even really his own, The Rock and Stone Cold were more their personal ideas with help from others
Vince gave us The Ringmaster, who was mostly only know for being brought up under The Million Dollar Man
And Rocky Maivia was by and large HATED by the audience practically being the precursor to early Roman Reigns
Well we also have to remember that some of these can't be pushed the way everyone would deem successful either 🙃
Good day y'all
Grimes should be in L.A. Knight’s spot right now
We all just hope LA Knight gets pushed 🤞
Yeah, because WrestleTalk knows it's Vince not allowing them to be pushed lol. Maybe Triple H himself doesn't really rate them as anything than just being a member of the roster. The Vince McMahon derangement syndrome is strong
Exactly. Triple H brought those people back for depth in a thin roster. He doesn't rate everyone to the same level as the stars that have been established in the past decade
I have personal beef with wwe for changing ciampa's music to jobber music. Unforgivable.
i know wwe doesn’t do this often BUT what if the JD MCDONNAUGH thing is that they showed him early in the balor and priest dissension as like a red herring. they dropped a lil seed and then boom he disappears just enough for us to forget about him and then when things are all good in the judgement day BOOOOOM
MM JD STRIKES JD when you least expect it even tho it’s been in out face the whole time …. or he’s never to be seen again anywhere near judgement day and that’s that lol
I've noticed that WWE's Japanese talent have only received a push under Hunter's creative direction.
Somebody get Adam in charge of at least one wrestling company's creative there would be less backstage issues
Isn't some of these wrestlers injured to? Indi's still injured I believe. So was Gargano and Lumis.
Where has Tegan nox been?
Hurt i think?
She's been part of Raw, but has been mostly competing on Main Event.
Lack of creative, there we're plans for her with dk , before dk got hurt
Seriously, how does Omos have more PPV matches than Johnny Wrestling this year alone?
Come on, give this guy a mid-card push at the very least, instead of what he’s doing right now…which is NOTHING!
Just imagine Gargano vs. Gunther for the I.C. Title. 🤩
I thought Gargano has been hurt? I feel like I remember that from a news video
He just wrestled on a house show the other night.
I dunno.
They could work as a babyface group. They have good comedic timing and a pretty endearing charm to them.
They'd make great foils for Judgment Day, Ciampa, Gargano and Lumis to take care of Finn, Dom and Priest, and because Rhea is a dominant threat, you'd need Candice and Indi working together to try and take her down.
Hey guys
Yo
I’m convinced Vince McMahon just hates Candice LeRae. Every time she’s had a match scheduled, it’s been cancelled by Vince
eh you don't really know who really wants to push who... for example I don't think jordan devlin is a triple h guy necessarily
and btw 7:11 we thought the same thing about GUNTHER... and he turned out pretty well^^
Vince decided to literally make himself look like a cartoon villain. He looked like he should be wearing a top hat and tying a damsel to train tracks.
I don't know about anybody else but I'm sick of seeing so many wrestlers with "Hillbilly" beards in WWE!
You forgot to mention Los Lotharios.
I think Pete dunne will get his name back after the brawling brutes (someday) breakup. The name works for his role in this faction if it ain't broke don't fix it
So, not even gonna touch on why Vince isn't gonna push JD Mc-Don't-Google-me
Christ, make Ciampa part of The Way & when he & Gargano team up, call it DIY or something
#1 is clearly trips😅😅😅
They were on the main roster first
I’d agree to this, if we didn’t have a lacking tag division (for both genders) and TWO shows
It even work if they created a rivalry on who’s the better team but never being able to properly challenge the other because THE BRAND SPLIT is actually in effect
Longterm ends up leading to a tag match on like Survivor Series or something
Gable not being pushed makes no sense. He's literally Kurt Angle, just a little shorter. Same comedic chops, same wrestling ability, same power. Scratch that, hes stronger than Kurt was.
I believe he also has the advantage of not having a worrisome injury that could effect his longterm career
Ie Kurt’s bad neck he’s had since his Olympic Career
So you say with your whole chest that you don’t really know if Vince is even back in charge and then continue with the rest of the list
You didnt have to make DIY 2 different spots on the list, especially when they were your #1. There are plenty more talents that are never getting pushed...
DIYW=Do It Yourself Way
