Our work is founded on the basis of two unique investing approaches: the principles of the Austrian School of Economics and the ESG principles of Market Environmentalism. More on this to follow. We emphasize a dual mandate of both targeting outperforming portfolio returns and also helping society and the environment at the same time.

Art, I believe you about the problems that we are facing regarding energy and climate change. I understand what you say about the inadequacy of renewables and how unlikely they are to replace our fossil fuel based civilization. I also agree that nuclear is too slow to scale though it can help. Is the solution that all of us and our economy have to change to use less? What is the answer?

renewables will not replace rubber coated wires or asphalt, in a place like UK solar and wind are around 2% of total energy, renewables that might replace all electricity still wouldn't replace the plastic of this device I am using, as he says electricity is 20% of our energy, nuclear won't replace car tyres

Green chicken, thinks the US will be an Energy superpower for the next 80 years. Trump clearly hasn't got the memo, because he is sucking up to yet another dictator in Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro. Who is sitting on some of the largest reserves of oil remaining, in the world. Green chicken, is the King of wishful thinking it seems, pretty divorced from reality...

Efficiency is usually energy saved, getting solar panels and driving around the country using diesel with the money saved is not saving energy overall.

Earth is VERY close to an unpredictable STAR....calculate the discount of the stability we've enjoyed for the last 3000-5000 years as a species....continuing every year.😮

The Current Green Agenda $....replace effecient coal with....ground-up living trees...😮....what a mess...biomass (sounds lacking. How about biomass conversion ?

.....how many btu's in the "conversion" of a billion humans ? 😢 now that's real biomass utilization efficiency..

If you think nuclear waste is a problem you are not a serious person.

Art, you say you're just looking at the data, that you have no vested interest one way or the other. However, the data you are looking at is provided to you by people and entities who most definitely have vested interests. Therefore, the data upon which you base your conclusions is tainted. Bearing that in mind, you may need to take a deeper dive into the data which argues that climate change, to the extent it exists, is not a function of the burning of fossil fuels, that there are larger forces at work that humans can't control.

The earth is a system where heat must pass through it from the sun, 99.97% of the mass of the atmosphere is 100 k high, we have added 430 molecules of carbon to every million sized parcel of air molecules, there are squillions of these million sized molecules so absolutely squillions of molecules are being added from a stored source where they trap radiant heat. The last time the earth went to the temps we are going to it took 700,000 years, this time we might reach that in a thousand, we are accelerating climate change more than any other larger force.

Nuclear will replace car tyres how?
Edit As he said electricity is 20% of our energy, we could be nuclear for all electricity and still 80% of the energy needs replacing, nylon, carpet, clothes, all the plastic as energy still needs a feedstock.
