thanks, venom. your video instruction was very helpful for my amateur play. the bank shot is my hardest but will practice in fast, slow, and medium speed. learn a lot on the diamond shots, will make me a better billiard player.
At 3:30 are you aiming at the diamond or the point on the rail next to the diamond? How do you account for the radius of the cue, since the cue starts bouncing off the rail when its surface hits the rail, not when the center of the cue would intersect the rail if its motion could continue forward.
do you aim at the diamond through the rail at the physical diamond itself or do you aim at the rail where the diamond would be if it was at the rails edge?
@Venom Can you teach different style of backspin shots only with straight shot? I've seen some people apply backspin and their ball goes a little bit forward and then come back completely, for some people it comes back as soon as it hits the target ball and some it has a stop where it contacted then comes back. I am an amateur and I have only these 3 cases in my mind. I could find anything on youtube about this topic...
about the kick shot at the 8-ball. Its easier to go two rails(and you want scratch) if you hit so you hit the short rail first, that allows more error as well. Often one rail is much harder than two rails first.
Your instruction is easy and obvious for those of us that already know how to play, but I can see where it would confuse and amateur(beginner) player. A beginner would probably be better off going to Dr Dave’s, Shavari, or Lil Chris channel for a more detailed instruction. Venom is a great trick shot artist but sometimes when we know how to do something, we assume others know what we are talking about. Sometimes when teaching beginners we need to draw stick figures and give a very detailed explanation. This way there’s no question about what’s being taught and how it’s done.
A problem I’m having in my country is we only have 12 by 6 feet tables and there are no diamond markers on it and the owner of the bar don’t let me put the diamonds on the table! So what should I do?
You say hit the diamond, but you hit the rail about 2' before the diamond. I watched several times in very slow motion. You must mean aim at the back of the diamond.
Why bother including and introducing a second person if that person doesn’t say anything or contribute to the video. Seems like it’s just wasting the second person’s time.
ElegyForTheMasses It might be less depressing if the woman was voluntarily objectifying herself while she at least PLAYED pool, but sadly this is just meant to be eye candy for clicks. That's why I'm disappointed, there are plenty of attractive women pool players who could have recorded this video, and they picked a model who is paid to stand there and not even shoot, or even be taught.
Could you please clarify the distinction between aiming toward the diamond versus aiming toward the point of the cushion directly in line with the diamond? It seems that you're actually aiming obliquely in line with the diamond but the physics of the similar triangles is really based on the point of contact with the cushion directly next to the diamond. From an oblique aiming point of view these two points are not in alignment.
you are correct, aiming at the diamonds does not work (even though people seem to use it, whether as approximation or if they actually think that is the correct contact point). he is simplifying on purpose or not on purpose i don't know. also if you observe the shots closely, he does not hit on the projected ghostballs and not consistently hitting the same point when demonstrating the fast/slow/medium speed effect on banks. he is absentmindedly adjusting for the top spin (which is why cue ball curves off the rail, not because of side spin). imagine the lines, use diamonds for measurement. if you want the true reflection, perform a stop shot (no spin) on the rail with soft/medium speed.
you lose kinetic energi when the balls hit the rail, what does that mean? it means that the incoming angle will be greater than the outcoming angel. (we talk shots with not english here)
8 ball, 9 ball, rotation or Irish.. let me guess another douch who only plays snooker and talks about why it's way more skilled yet not as popular in tournaments or worldwide? Thought so.
Not bad, sometimes its difficult to keep it in simple terms so people can understand. . . I totally get that. But dam where'd you get that "monster"? She's beautiful
It’s not how a cue LOOKS it’s how it PLAYS you pick girlfriends on how they look. Saying that a particular cue won’t make you play any better is the biggest piece of fiction since Alice claimed to see the white rabbit. Ask Joey Gold who makes by many people standards the finest custom cues made if a cue doesn’t impact your play, better yet play with one of his cues then decide for your self
Helpful video but rather confusing because the diagrams are aligned directly in front of the diamonds yet you were aiming direct AT the diamonds. Also at 8:20 whatever you did with your cue stick to judge the angle was very unclear and the camera angle didn't help matters.
It depends on where the cue ball hits the other ball giving it a different angle. So if he hits the cue ball ahead of the centre line on the ball it will kick the ball back. Hope that made sense lol
trick shot players have good short time focus and lots of drill shots, but they don't last long on a pool competition, that takes stamina and focus over long hours of play and waiting thus making the game a lot harder
Ok video but would have been better if you would stop popping up those windows along the bottom where the action is. Why don't you have them pop up in the top right hand corner out of the way. Kind of glossed over the part for banking when the balls are not on the cushion and in between diamonds.

Love that!

Must say, intro, visuals, explanation all top-notch

These videos are absolutely amazing...they r so helpful...thx man
do you aim at the diamond through the rail at the physical diamond itself or do you aim at the rail where the diamond would be if it was at the rails edge?
That's a great tutorial , I have always wondered about the escape angle, at 04:40, can you explain how to calculate the new offset angle?
Thank you so much for your tips! I know it takes a lot of time and effort but it is appreciated!
3:16 I was like hold up slow down a minute I failed math lol
Thank you so much, you have just highlighted a lot of things.
Nice. You are a natural teacher.
This is the FIRST tutorial that ACTUALLY tells you something
0:21 i don't understand this part
R Lihuak lol
I watched several times couldnt figure it out. Shes a model and a gorgeous one so she gets a pass.
R Lihuak maybe meant to be seen, not heard?
If you don't know, we can't tell you
Because this person is an assistant and beautiful.
I love the way he teaches.
The bang shots are my favorites :-)
“Furder”
Fuehrer
this video will probably help me next time i play a game of pool, thanks dude
Learning that the diamonds make a grid was probably one of the most important things I’ve learned
Shit man, I wish I had watched this sooner. Thanks Venom.
I just leveled up - Wow, good video !
@Venom Can you teach different style of backspin shots only with straight shot? I am an amateur and I have only these 3 cases in my mind. I could find anything on youtube about this topic...
It just depends on how hard the white ball is hit
Could you please try a trickshot where you try to pot a ball after you lobbed the cue ball from the ground?
This is really helpful.
about the kick shot at the 8-ball. Its easier to go two rails(and you want scratch) if you hit so you hit the short rail first, that allows more error as well. Often one rail is much harder than two rails first.
Yes finally I've been wanting to know how to bank better

Like how simple it looks.
A problem I’m having in my country is we only have 12 by 6 feet tables and there are no diamond markers on it and the owner of the bar don’t let me put the diamonds on the table! So what should I do?
Try to imagine the table in sections on those kind of tables
Hay..good joo man.but these are easy ones.can u please make about finding longest natural bank angles, applying the same diamond system beyond 90°
After playing 2 yrs of pool i finally know how to bank. Thank you 😊
Thanks venom you helped me a lot dude 😊😊😊:)
what does jamielette do
06:15 the song is awesome! Please the name
Perfect tutorial
May i know the pool size?
You say hit the diamond, but you hit the rail about 2' before the diamond. I watched several times in very slow motion. You must mean aim at the back of the diamond.
Later on he also explained why he hit it a bit before the diamond
lol, I did the exact same thing, watched it a few times while pausing it..
You aim to the diamond not the spot on the rail. That's what all aiming systems tell you. Aim to the diamond line not the cushion.
He smashed!!!
He brought the girl in because after listening to him for 30 seconds trying to speak English, your attention goes to her for the rest of the video.
Lol good one mate XD
dID YOU HEAR IN THE KICKS WITH SPIN HE DEMANDED HER TO take THE CUE WOW....
Does that mannequin talk ?
doesnt need to
which tip are you using on your cue ?
Why bother including and introducing a second person if that person doesn’t say anything or contribute to the video. Seems like it’s just wasting the second person’s time.
Because that 2nd person is an attractive woman, so it nearly guarantees views on the video. I was disappointed by that, but it is what it is.
Thats the tutor for smiling 😊
ElegyForTheMasses It might be less depressing if the woman was voluntarily objectifying herself while she at least PLAYED pool, but sadly this is just meant to be eye candy for clicks. Really? Why do they use beautiful models in printed and video commercials? Hmmm? I wonder?
If u had a kink for venom would that be objectifying him?
Thanks ! i love how u explain things
Great video thanks for your time sir
great tutorial !

Thanks, that does make sense.
They are in alignment, the path of the cue ball should be a straight line to the diamond or midpoint of the reflection.
Great videos, thank you!
Awesome content...please add more
On you first kick shot you hit a few inches behind the diamond and still hit it dead on?????
you lose kinetic energi when the balls hit the rail, what does that mean? it means that the incoming angle will be greater than the outcoming angel. (we talk shots with not english here)
smooth shooting
Awesome video easy to learn ....... keep it up 👏👍
Great video...Thanks
Wow. This just cleared up.....a million issues for me.
I love this guy how in the fuck does he not have millions of views
3:36 That describes be pretty well.
😂😂😂
So good for 8 ball pool😂😂
MrBARA ZAMAKI yeah xD but 8bp is a lot easier ;DD
8 ball, 9 ball, rotation or Irish.. let me guess another douch who only plays snooker and talks about why it's way more skilled yet not as popular in tournaments or worldwide? Thought so.
I think snooker is generally more popular. I mean in the 8-ball World Cup final there's not really a crowd. Compare that to the snooker final
I B StEAdy xbl 8 ball pool is an app.
Thanks for the advice/video!
Not bad, sometimes its difficult to keep it in simple terms so people can understand. . . I totally get that. But dam where'd you get that "monster"? She's beautiful
Very informative
What happens when you play on English pool tables n don't have the diamond system to use.
Thanks bro. From India
Oh big physics i can't 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Gaurav Kumar it is geometry
Gaurav Kumar its only some physics terms like angle of inflectoin etc.
You're great
what is the role of that lady in the story ??
240,000th viewer. :D
Awesome! Thats it, thaks!
what of when you are plaing on a table without the diamonds
pretty sure every pool table has some sort of diamond (ex. circles replace the diamonds)
do a tutorial with double banks
you should try this in 8 ball pool plus its free practice against good players
Name of the intro song?
do it did you happen to find it? Really looked for this everywhere. I don’t think Florian will reply.
The sound track @ 1:54 Any one who knows plz?
wärste so nett und machst auch ein tutorial mit dem diamantensystem zb 3 band ?
Where does he place the chalk? It's like he magically throws it away.
it's a chalk holder, on my back pocket. Magnetic one :)
that beautiful dude is just staring? anyway i like your lessons very easy to master. i gonna be a pro
Glad shes there, soft on the eyes.....
I hope i can use this in 8ballpool
Cool i am understand thank
That girl is hilarious
I need one pocket drills
Podia ter legendas em português
8 baal pool Marcos Games realmente
8 ball pool is pretty close to the real thing

stop scratching...
What's the girls name?
Only if i had a pool table at home
"It's a complicated topic..." Maybe you should discuss it furder.
Ferdder? Ow much ferdder? A lot ferdder? A litle ferdder? Dat much ferdder? Or dis much ferdder?
👏👏👏
wow that girl is destructing me
That lady has to instruct to. Not just stand there.

@@guitarguru997 Not really.
why you don't want to particip at the champion of snooker or something like that?
trick shot players have good short time focus and lots of drill shots, but they don't last long on a pool competition, that takes stamina and focus over long hours of play and waiting thus making the game a lot harder
3:34 he did not hit the diamond, even though he pointed at it at 3:09
Lucas Nguyen you aim at the diamond, but because there is a cushion, you would hit it just before. Aim line is going towards the diamond.
Thankx.. u r best man
maybe she can make Tutorial ? Kappa
Cheers!
Sir can you make a tutorial on 8 ball pool geometry of android game
what is the point of the beautiful lady
She is required for thumbnail and fetching views.
Ok video but would have been better if you would stop popping up those windows along the bottom where the action is. Why don't you have them pop up in the top right hand corner out of the way.
Kind of glossed over the part for banking when the balls are not on the cushion and in between diamonds.
tu peut la refaire en français mdr ^^
right off the bat...the illustration with the cue sticks forming a triangle and him making a kick shot did not match
She’s there because?
Someone had to hand him a stick.. :)
That's not physics, it's geometry.
