Fantastic! Recently I've watched few old videos, when you did trickshots in your room. Really long journey, you achieved so much. Do what you feel to do and people will never leave this channel.
I would recommend if your going to attempt the masse drill described near the end of the video that instead of hitting the shot from the same spot, and continuing to damage that spot that spot instead you leave the object ball in the same position, and move the cue ball to the various spots.
I tried a Masse shot at work today and it went pretty fine. I didn't make the intended ball (I only wiffed it by a centimetre or 10), but the fact that I played it so fancy did turn some heads (and probably even went inside the head of my opponent because he started to play considerable worse after that shot)
Highlighted, I never said he should be ashamed. All I'm saying is he doesn't seem comfortable in front of the camera. It takes times to get used to the bright lights and get more at ease doing it. I've been on tv maybe 9-10 times and I was hesitant and stammered because I was nervous. Now I look forward to it and it's a lot of fun. It has nothing to do with his ability on the pool table. He's more comfortable shooting pool and doing it, than he is explaining it in this video. I'm sure he will get better and better at it. I was just trying to encourage the guy. It's like anything else, if you keep doing it you will improve and if you do it long enough it becomes second nature.
imagine you had a camera on the tip of your cue, when you raise the cue up you want to hit about centre or slightly below... never above :) happy jumping.
Looking for a piece of felt that I can place under the balls to practice with I don't see anything on the website Any help please? Oh and you are amazing so much talent
Hey Florian, I've playing pool for at least 2.5 years. I've never been able to understood how does elevating you cue make the cue ball curve where as when the cue is parallel to the table it doesn't
it's due to the impact. when horizontal the cue ball slides straight after impact when on an angle it's slide out of the way and then rotation brings it the intended direction. Definitely not easy concept to explain
Try to think about it using 3D coordinates and Newton’s third law. When you shoot it horizontally you are simply making the ball spin around the Z axis, which is relatively limited in terms of deviating the ball from it’s path, since it also needs a forward component (let’s say the Y axis) for it to actually move. Shooting the ball from above however you are not only making it spin around the X axis, you also imprinting less forward force, which allows the rotation to “decide” the parth of the ball. Thinking about the extreme cases can help you visualize this: A ball can be approximatelly still and rotating around the Z axis (think about a stun shot where the ball stops but continues spinning in the same place), but if a ball is spinning sideways (around the X axis) it will also be moving in that direction, since the X axis is in the table (the table is the XY plane). It might sound weird how shooting the ball towards the table makes it have this effect, but this is simply because of the action-reaction pair between the ball and the table. It is the same logic as with jumpshots, except the angle there gives the ball enough upwards force that it lifts from the surface of the table, as in the massé that force is lower and only enough to make the ball roll. Sorry about the convoluted explanation but I thought approaching the problem from a physics perpective could help you understand how it works. I’ve recently gotten into understanding how to play pool and what you can do with it and I’ve discovered the physics approach helps me understand and internalize the principles that create amazing plays. Try it, you might enjoy it!
hi great video but i didnt understand the difference when u used the cue between the masse and the jump strike... its look like u hit the same spot on the cue ball but one time its spinnig and then its jumping.. can u explain it to better to me? thank you :D
I kept looking at the distillery instead of watching you. Plus what does the girl keep looking at? If you're interested in keeping the eye candy just hire a sports model. Otherwise have your assistant shoot some shots.
You obviously play great on the table. However, it doesn't carry over well into your explaining things. You don't seem as confident teaching as you are playing. Keep doing it, you will get more comfortable the more you do it. Kinda like jumping the 🎱 ball. 😜

Thank you master, you have a fan from the Spanish north coast
Love this series
The thing I am missing is where on the cue ball do you hit for the jump shot.
imagine you had a camera on the tip of your cue, when you raise the cue up you want to hit about centre or slightly below... never above :) happy jumping.
the name Venom doesnt really suit someone when they look like a tax accountant lol
steven G lol
thats what makes it fit even more.
He plays like one
Excellent Tutorial dude!
Keep it going
or other than jumpshot and masse, there is a shot that called efren zigzag, so you basically go 4++ rails to make a ball
Awesome video man !!!

I can see the difficulty in your explanation 😂😂, however I understand now, thank you.

can u explain it to better to me? thank you :D
Roi Dahan one is long follow through (masse) more vertical and the jump is a short fast poke :)
Everytime I try to do a jump shot the ball jus goes really fast across the table rather actually jumping, any tips to improve my shot
same
The jump shot is cool and all, but why are they in a distillery?
great background
Quand ta femme veux pas que tu laisses la maison pour aller jouer, tu installe une table au boulot
Good stuff. :)
Does it work on a small pool table
Nice video
You didn’t include the top spin massé! What does the top left spin massé and top right spin massé do???
nothing dumbass
How do I do the masse stroke if my height is only 150cm?
Please do a tutorial on how to kick the ball off the rail and into the air and catch it, like you did near the start of the video.
But how do you make a jump shot after the kick?
Is the tip broke looks like it when you showing the how to part at the beginning
Your the reason I have a pool table
