This man thought me so many things in only 11 mins & never said follow smt or turn on the bell like , other youtubers should learn from you. Thank you for the info & looking forward to future stuff
Florian - As a part 2 to this, can you show how and where to hit for long range masse's. Ie... say the cue ball is at one end of the table and you have to go around a ball that's 3-4 diamonds away and have the cue then swerve after passing that ball to hit the object ball you desire. I have done a number of these in the past but inevitably they were more luck.... or rather the result of understanding the concept but where my execution was guesswork. Thanks as always for your great instruction!
How often do you replace the table felt ? I ask because watching some of your videos, the felt gets pretty worn in places from practicing shots over and over.
I have been trying this shot for years. The only time I ever managed it perfectly was when I used somebody else's cue, making me think it was the tip. Is there a special tip, you use?
Thumbs up!! Aiming is defined, yet not explained well. Massé shots are used & needed when the cue ball is away from the rail; leading to inquiries about Massé shots from all areas of the table. Is it a break/jump stick which is being used? Grip is one thing noted. Do arm &/or wrist movement differ from (for example) draw or power shots? Practice remains key to all sports! A video on practice drills may help a players knowledge of progression.
Think id rather bank, kick, jump, or even play a safety...I dont have a sponsor to come change my cloth unfortunately. Gets expensive for us middle class folks! Love your vids bro😊!!
Quick question, I’ve watched good pool players, but some of the best players ive ever seen have sometimes been able to play using both hands. They shoot from either side. Do you practice this a lot?
Anything is possible when one watches the entire video to fully comprehend and appreciate the skill being taught. But that takes patience and requires one to be able to focus….yet most like you find this challenging and can be found lowering the IQ of comments sections with questions which one wants about as much as the scum which collects at the corner of the mouth.
The trickshot at 0:10 of the video it's called the Satellite Masse. It's not as easy as what Florian makes of it. Trust me I've tried even after his tutorial on it many a times.
I read once that to get really extreme masse' shots, sometimes the table is sprayed with silicone lubricant to allow for faster initial spin. Is that accurate? I realize that it would screw up the equipment for a standard game, but I was just curious.
U need to show close up shots and slow motion repeats to make folks underrated. This is more of a " see what I can do" video. I doubt anyone can learn from this.
totally useless shot. if you know your angles then you never need a masse. how many times have you seen pro players use this? less than 0.5% of the time; ergo USELESS shot. good for utube videos i guess, but won’t win you pool or snooker matches. besides, if you can’t hit correct doubles, you have no business even watching masse shots. talk about running before you can walk!
You must love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. You must love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus the Anointed is Lord! Repent and be baptized and believe the Gospel!
Notice the que ball has 6 red dots. It's the lightest cue that produces the most spin. Not that impressive, use a mud ball and I'll be impressed. Plus the cloth of the table is more nylon than wool.
Been guessing it all this time.. The first 3 and half minutes explained it to me and that's all I need. I really appreciate it..
This man thought me so many things in only 11 mins & never said follow smt or turn on the bell like , other youtubers should learn from you. Thank you for the info & looking forward to future stuff
"Smash the Like" It'd like to smash it all right. Right into oblivion.
I clicked on this to hear the damn secret, now your saying there is no secret except practice! Lol still learned a lot thank you.
You make it look so easy!
tbh, after watching the video i was like "i could do that"
Pretty well explained Massé tutorial. Good work gentlemen 👍
Nice shots but now I know why the cloth on your table has more holes than Swiss chess. Nice tutorial though
Mmmm Swiss chess...🇸🇪♟️
now i know why you are here watching lol.
What is Swiss chess?
Swiss Chess. So funny.
It was a pleasure meeting you and playing you in Las Vegas

Thanks as always for your great instruction!
For that u just need to not elevate as much cuz the more u elevate, the more the ball will curve
Holy crap what a great video. man you have some talent. (plus you make it look so easy....)
Super soft tip? Will it be out of shape regularly?
Do you participate in 9 ball pool tournament?
Is it possible to do a massè shot in the middle of the table?
Thanks from Brazil Florian😉
How often do you replace the table felt ? I ask because watching some of your videos, the felt gets pretty worn in places from practicing shots over and over.
just as often as i tap your mom
Thanks i have improved my skills after watching your video
Very nice instructions.
Experiment, no exact, find your sweet spot and there's no real secret!! 😢😂 Good info brother thank you as ALWAYS!
isn't this named after the trick shot master Mike Massey?
Obviously, not. Because a messé word came from France. It means a "hammer" as I know.
0:15 that shot was just inhuman 💀💀that was just impresive
SO AMAZING
9:53 what is the cue stick company name
To do masse shot, do we need different (softer?) tip from regular tip?
I have been trying this shot for years. The only time I ever managed it perfectly was when I used somebody else's cue, making me think it was the tip. Is there a special tip, you use?
What website did u order for pool table from pls
Does masse kill your tip faster so should one use a dedicated masse junk cue?
Wish I knew this x years ago D. Thanks.
x = 65
Is Alca gonna be available today?
Can you show us a long Marseille shot? Dude, you are fabulous!
Good day sir,, can i recreate your tricks and post it in my fb reels
Nice looking pool cue you have there sir what kind of cue is that?
Kinda tough to see exactly where you're supposed to hit. Also, any tips on how to keep from piercing the felt?
2:14 peep the kamui product placement! and he probably is using a kamui tip too
you also need the right table, the right cue, cue tip and felt to do this properly.
Thanks for the tutorial
Thanks From French Florian Kohler 😉
What kind of tip do you usually use for masse shots? Thanks Venom.
He uses a Kamui Super Soft, and I promise I'm not just saying that.
I think he use a cheap tip (master)
I like to learn different things 😉
Hello. How to you hit multiple banks then have the ball curve? Is table on tilt?
Great video!
Tips?
Thanks 4 da video I used to think it’s magic
thy just played my first massé shot today :3
Hi.. can you try and explain two rail and a three rail shot, and some drills to get better at them.
does chalk matter with a masse? any recommendations?

Nice

Venom is an artist
I'm really bad pool and I'm gonna try it out and I started pool
Is there a particular brand of chalk? I use kamui 0.86
🌰🍗🍖🍄🌰🪑🪑va kiya shout hai
How bad is masse for the table?
Its not that bad
what about the height or elevation effect the masse?
what cues do u use
That awesome.
What pool stick
do you use heary or light
Masse shots you want to use large tip heavy cue. They make masse cues that are short fat and heavy (I call mine father in law 😂)
Quick question, I’ve watched good pool players, but some of the best players ive ever seen have sometimes been able to play using both hands. They shoot from either side. Do you practice this a lot?
Yeah he does
Knee on the table? Dude I'm 5'6" 🤣🤣 that ain't happening
My God this guy makes it look so damn easy!
Years of practice and honing to perfect technique
you know this is trickshot master Florian "Venom" Kohler, right? this is his jam! 😄
i got it on my second try but i did it at a local pool arena so i was afraid i might ruin the cloth and their cue hahah
Is it possible to use a standard cue or does it have to be a masse cue because I don’t have a masse cue I only have a normal one.

You could get a pice of cloth and put it under the qball
I read once that to get really extreme masse' shots, sometimes the table is sprayed with silicone lubricant to allow for faster initial spin. Is that accurate? I realize that it would screw up the equipment for a standard game, but I was just curious.
Yeah, this don't work on the simonis I play on.🤔
@@richardclingempeel6111 his cloth is simonis for carom, u can do masse on cbpa cloth
Wow you are wonderful
How come you and Florian are always posting the exact same videos
Florian is sponsored by kamui
What kind of tip?
It must be soft due to the contact area will be bigger with more grip and spins a lot
@@jacquesnascimento1260 thank you
Jesus. Look at his cloth. No wonder pool halls frown on masse shots.
Champion teach as nowdrow shot and haw Manu hours do you entrainin daly
there is always the freakin lights on top on the table that i hit my fingers on
Please make a bank shot video!
"...and it's literally a piece of cake."
Show off
use a regular cue and see how well you do
This is pure physics 😅
are u sure you dont mean 12 oclock not 6 oclock ?
👏👏👏👏
Masse is French for "I crush your felt."
Yep. 2:22 shows me why I don't want to practice this technique.
ha, and you get all those tears in the table :)
Damn, that really F's up you're table.
pause at 2.27 - is his tip shaped at an angle?
I cant practice in my table, i dont want to ruin the cloth...
