Hey Clayton, thanks for the input man! The bins are actually powdercoated.

No problem guys! It's undeniable that you guys have the superior bin, and I anticipate my Roxi Bins will outlast Lonestars especially in the "paint".
But I can't pass up a deal when I find it, all about those margins!
I would love to see one of your heavy duties assembled sometime. I have come across them at dealers, but with the door not installed.

Great video! I have definitely considered doing this. Right now there is a Load Trail for $26k with 2 bins near me but I think I will hold off until it would benefit my landscape business more.

Seams being in the actual corner like that is really not great, too much stress in that are so the nice ones will seam in the center of the floor

@@rollingops Just generally all dumps and dumpsters, the nice ones will not have the welds in the corners of the floor because the welds will fratigue sooner then bent metal. The cheaper dumpster in this video has the welds closer to the corner which is going to break sooner than one where it is seamed say in the center.

Great content I follow you . I bought same setup as you thanks to you . I also just bought lonestar bins (2) and I’ve notice lonestar bin are heavier than max D with truck and trailer and bin max d weight 14440 and my lonestar weight in at 14840 that 440 lbs more I would have thought max d was built heavy duty at least more than lonestar . What’s your say in this ? My MaxxD setup is solid and very happy with the craftsmanship of the built has not failed me I have 7 months into the business
Thank you from Texas JAZ LAWN & ROLL-OFF DUMPSTER SERVICE

I've noticed the same on mine! My lonestarts def seem to have a crappy paint job compared to my maxxd, my maxxd pain holds up 10x better. The weight difference on mine is definitely in the doors.

I-Beam is a structure that gives a better durability to weight ratio. It doesn't work everywhere (e.g. in very long trailers it causes twisting), but it is beneficial in terms of construction (there are at least 3 types of it). Additionally, I-beam may show imperfections such as rusting or cracks, which is not visible in closed structures - it is easier to service in the long run.

A lot of guys say I should, but I have yet to find a good reasson. I can find these "non standard" cans. So I'll continue to use them. I understand guys like hooklifts and I see why, but I see a lot of pros in the trailer setup for a small operation.

I bought a used Lonestar with 2 bins for my business instead of a second dump trailer. It needed a little work but overall has been good, the frame that raises is where I had the issues where they put the rollers in, it was just weak and needed beefed up. Luckily the dumpsters have held up, other then the doors can get a little sticky. I think I have it all figured out now and upgraded to 8k axles with 16 ply tires. I don’t rent out to the public, they just go from job to job for me so it works for now for what I need. I do believe the maxxd are better quality for sure when comparing the two.

I also had to put more welds and better in the dumpsters. I noticed the crap ones they did would just break off, we also load 90% of the time with machines which probably doesn’t help
