I'd definitely be interested in the carbon air deflectors for the brakes!

Awhhh ya...excited for the track day. If we're talking wish list of carbon bits....i'd love to see the following:
    - Splitter w/tunnels and air dam that replaces the entire oem belly pan and splitter kit (remove a good amount of weight and improve aero over a slip on)
    - brake deflectors
    - fender vent inserts (OEM fenders don't vent enough air)

Thats all pretty much on the list. Just gotta find time to do all the R&D.

That bracket is made by Mike Black, AJ. The center connections are for clip on sub belts that pass through the seat back/base gap and you sit on them. Works well for factory seats.

Mike Black makes those seat brackets. He tracks a orange boss I believe. He is in the Track Mustangs online FB page

That sway bar s a Ford Performance part and the clearance is really tight, I have had same issue on my car. Shorter adjustable Whiteline links lift the bar up some improving clearance.

I’ve been told that ABS cars run a lot more front brake bias so it’s super easy to lock up the tires if ABS quits.

Always great videos. Must say that I dont like a fire extinguisher behind the front seat, might take too long to get it out....

Without a fixed seat it wasn’t working out in front. So....

Wonder what the lap times would be if you ran without then with ABS turned off....since you are used to not having it anyway.

Look forward to seeing it on the track! Was the engine replaced?

Technically yes. Ford replaced it after the A/C compressor needed to be replaced and a bolt broke and the tech cracked teh block after trying to drill out the bolt. But it wasn't replaced after the oil cooler incident. I saw the main bearings when it was at my buddys shop who took the oil pan and main caps off and they looked fine. Engine sounds fine and good oil pressure. So kinda rolling the dice on it but feel that I should be ok.

You said previous guy had abs problem. I hope he didnt run stock tires and DTC brake pads. DTC are race compound and you need slicks they will lock up your stock street tires. I used DTC 70 front and 60 rear with Michelin cup 2s and it was too.much pad. I was locking up tires, didnt have any abs lights but it was dangerous, Maybe that could be your problem too.

      I guess I’ll find out.

@@ajhartmanaero I agree with Pete. From my experience the extreme initial bite of DTC 70 & 60 series compound paired with the S550 brake pedal that responds move like an on/off switch usually doesn't work well. I was on RS3 and they didn't like the 70s at all, even the slightest of brake pressure would over power the tires. I had to lightly brake and let the front settle first and still fought lockup most of the day. The 60s worked somewhat better, but it was still a compromise. Switching to CarboTech R12s fixed this problem for me. However, I'm certain you are a more accomplished driver than I, so I'm interested to hear how they work for you.
