I have had 10 years and 100000km's Beltenick 1,92kg lithium battery in my clownshoe and with 1kw hifi’s too. Zero problems ever and also dirt cheap. I can only highly recommend.
If you're looking rearward at your battery tray, the upper left hole. I believe it's part of the non-R rear seat child restraint system or seatbelt. The Competition Motorsports roll bar kicker (upright) also uses this hole as a mounting point. This hole, along with the other rear seat mounting points are not tapped from the factory on the R model. The hole, and steel insert is there, just not threaded. Hope this helps.
Hi man I love your videos and they have been really helpful, I have a question about carbon fiber, is it normal for the lines that form the cloth to fall apart easily in to tiny strings or leave a lot of powder if I just rub them a bit?
@ajhartmanaero well, I'm happy for you I'm a lover of Autocad but I'm not sure if I can transition over to the CNC with that software easily. I'll be watching your videos so I'll learn and like as I go along.
AJ, what group if any would you recommend for a group of my friends and I to go out with? i would love to drag them to the track with a good group to learn from. this would be for VIR.

Nice unit. The upper left hole is also used by the CMS roll bar's kicker. That hole is also not tapped from the factory on the R. Worth noting.
Can you clarify? I’m not sure what hole you are mentioning.

It seems like you adjust to the cnc really quick
Yeah. Wish I got one years ago!

I usually run with NASA or Chin Trackdays.
When are these available for order?
I’m not doing a complete kit. But may get a run of battery platforms made.
