It's "see Naples and die" and it's a word play because there is a place next to Naples called "Muori" which means "die" in Italian. The joke makes no sense when related to another city such as Paris
The glory of Nigeria will shine again. To those who speak ill about Nigeria stop judging us without experiencing what we are experiencing. We are a unique people
having watched almost all the shows, this Lagos episode really exceeds them all in the overall message and style Long live Lagos and african people and their multitudes of culture, god bless you all 🙏🙏
I just liked the fact that "Ludo Liu" is in the comments area as well. He is one of the best travel documentary in Nigeria from France🇧🇪 but our own omo Naija 🇳🇬👍🏾😎❤‼
Grew up in Germany and spent three months in Lagos visiting my family this year. Like many young people in the diaspora, I’m already working on establishing myself in Lagos. The only thing you need as a Westerner is money. No money, no fun. And I’m not talking about $1-2k a month; you’ll need more to keep up with the big boys. With a good remote or expert job, you are settled.
I like your video editing, very professional, very captivating, am watching it from the beginning to the end, everything about Lagos in 42 minutes, amazing!
This also shows the two sides of Nigerians in fela's offspring one hopeful and insightful of a better future, the other pessimistic and uncertain about what nigeria would become
17:20 That's an unreasonable question and an undiscerning response from Ms Ahmed. To Start with Nigeria is at least a hundred times more populated than Dubai and Dubai has at least 10 times the oil revenue. There's no basis for a comparison even without prejudice to the factors she subsequently mentions. Sans corruption, Nigeria still wouldn't be anywhere close to being a Dubai. Now if you were talking about Lagos alone, which is comparable to Dubai in size, then maybe.
We owe it to ourselves to reeducate our mindset . God help us from ourselves. We are actually our worst enemies . Once proud people are now very wretched people. We have allowed criminal political class to pauperised the populace . May God forgive us for failing ourselves,
Good and fair reporting... But if anyone rightly explain the Nigerian state, and you understand... Then such a fellow didn't do a good job... You have to be Nigerian to understand Nigeria...
@@CyrilAmagbakhenDid you watch the video at all. It's a mixture of videos from the 60's highlighting the BIAFRA war, Nigerian culture, music till the 90's. The actual interview was done in 2017.
@@FERESE What are you rambling about? Did you read his comment at all? He's talking about the time period the documentary was released. It aired exactly in October, 2017. Calm down and stop being an oversabi.
Excessive mixing of frames is just too much and not enough at the same time. I am sorry to say. Love the theme, Toni’s great, people he talks to mostly fascinating if not legendary.
On the contrary, just like any lazy greedy fish in the sea who bites the fisherman's bait, you can't reap where you didn't sow!! And if it's too true to be true, then by heck it is ! 👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!!!
Wow, so your country has no conmen. Your country is heaven on earth 🌍. Stop generalising, that is HATE. A country with over 200 million humans, over 700 different languages and tribes.
Watching this documentary makes me miss Anthony Bourdain so much 💔. He was exceptional. Rest in power, Anthony 🕊

Background sound is louder than active sound or it's my phone?
This whole stuff is not organized it looks scattered, disorderly and acutely uncensored.
