I love that in all his success, he tought of feeding the homeless. That says so much about his character. His heart is full of love and he gave back to his community, beautiful....😊
My late husband was a chef & he greatly admired Ina Garten. He had several of her books, & we always recorded her shows so he could watch them on his day off. Watching her here brought back so many great memories of just relaxing with my husband, watching Ina do her thing. We loved watching how she & her husband Jeffrey interacted with each other. I think we had a similar type relationship, & I'm grateful for that. It's been almost 4 years without my guy, & I miss him terribly. Thanks to 60 Minutes & Ina, today I was reminded of those wonderful moments I had with him.
Jeffrey and Ina are such a sweet couple. Coming from a family where I didn't get to see many happy couples, seeing their relationship on TV was so weird to me but also very comforting. Ina is a legend!
The highlight of this is when she says do what the f*ck you want. Makes her sound like your neighbor across the street she is so down to earth and personable

Ina and her husband are sooo sweet. What a life they have enjoyed! Never knew anything about Truffles so this was fascinating! The last chef and his are such exemplary people. Sharing his knowledge and love of foods to take care of others is inspiring. Excellent episode!
we have the same problem in germany, if something is assembled here even with foreign parts it can be labeled 'made in germany'. this is misleading and needs to be addressed! i am so sick of how us consumers are being conned on a daily basis when the laws could prevent that!
There is so much deception these days in business driven by greed and fed by the internet. Many things are faked and even when not directly for money but indirectly for views (which translates to money). It's getting hard to know what is real anymore.
Chef's kiss* 😂. I liked the Italian dude and barefoot contessa. It's inspiring and refreshing to see anyone that passionate and excited about what they do (not to mention skilled). Both seem like they are loving life, it's great.
Really beautiful episode @60minutes. From Ina' Garten's authenticity and her love story with Jeffrey, to Chef Massimo's creativity, passion and altruism. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Wow ,first thank you for this episode, second ,why we love to watch Ina Garten ,she is soothing to look at when she cooks, she makes food approachable and she makes simple recipes that are delicious ,and she has this lovely personality that we love, the Italian chef is a wonderful guy,his generosity matches his ability as a great European chef ,bless his heart to feed the poor ,that earn my deep respect for him !
I was a latchkey kid, & my mom left me detailed recipes to cook. From the time I was old enough to read. I would cook the entre, sides, & desserts by the time she got home from work according to her recipes. Of course she made sure I had alll the ingredients
I love how she makes fun important. But I couldn’t underestimate her lightheartedness when I taste the final product. They’re seriously spot-on recipes with balance of flavors.
The latter of his career made me cry! Such passion not only for cooking but for those who couldn't afford the best of the best. What a way to give back! What if we all took this passion and approach in our lives. Wow!
Interesting episode. The ending was the best - feeding the poor. The truffle story was interesting and ridiculous, it made me think of the tulip craze in the 1600’s. I enjoy Ina Garten’s videos & like her concept of simple & not too difficult cooking. The Italian chef was interesting, but his super expensive, over-the-top food is out of my reach. I loved his feeding the poor & wish for much more of that in our world of too many Have Nots.
I watched Ina during the pandemic and LOVED her humor and fun personality during such a stressful and uncertain time. I used to have friends over all the time, and it was such a pleasure to watch her mixing cocktails for fun when “no one was coming over”. Thank you for covering her story.
