    Hey guys! My DIGITIZED UCAT NOTES are now for sale! 🥳You can get a copy over on my Etsy shop at www.etsy.com/uk/shop/KharmaMedic !
    They’re a drastic improvement of my handwritten notes - I’ve added multiple NEW sections including DM notes, time saving tips & tricks, guides on how to prepare for the UCAT test, and how to know if your score is competitive and more! 😀
    Thank you so much for watching and supporting my channel ❤ Happy studying!

      I bought the notes. The notes recommend us to read the question first. However, the video recommend to read the passage first. There is a discrepancy.

    Hey Nasir! I just finished my UKCAT exam and my scores were:
    VR - 650 (I still can't believe it 😂)
    DM - 690
    QR - 670
    AR - 750
    SJT - Band 2
    Average: 690
    I'm very pleased with my score, I didn't expect to do so well to be honest 😂
    Your tips have been extremely useful, especially for VR and AR! Thank you so much for your videos!

      Francesco Marinelli hi mate, congratulations on those scores, they're amazing! I was just wondering how you would compare the difficulty of medify's decision making questions with the real test's decision making? Because it seems quite easy and I've heard it's harder in the real test? Thanks mate and congratulations again.

      Francesco Marinelli well done! Did you use kharma medic's technique where you read the passage first?

    • @franm47
      @franm47 5 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@LuckyL133 Thanks! Yes for the most parts! When the passage was quite short, I skimmed the passage first and then answered the questions, but when the passage was very long then I read one paragraph and then answered all the questions on that paragraph, and so on with the other paragraphs. I hope this helps!

    I have my exam in 3 days. I always run out of time for VR. I end up guessing the last two passages because i don't have enough time to read it. I don't know if I spend too much time reading the earlier passages. I took the advice of reading first and then picking out keywords which helped a LOT. When I spend a bit more time reading the passage, it really helps because I actually get the answers right. YIKES. I think I just need to stay calm. Good luck to everyone doing the UCAT if you haven't already completed it! I don't read much so that is probably why I am slower at reading the passages than others.

    Hey Nasir!! My weakness is with the type of questions in which the options statements , not true, false or cant tell because if i want to look for each key work in the statement in the passage and thats 4 times per question this will take enermous amount of time. So can you please advice me what yo do with this. However i want to tell you that i am good at the true, false or canttell type of question as you only look for the key word of the question once. And thank you for your effort that you put in these helpful videos. Much respect.

    Very helpful, it really is the timing that is so hard and the only question I need now is did anyone that has done the ucat before not finish all questions? Or is it worthwhile flicking to the last questions and picking random answers?

    Hey! The video is great.
    At 10:13 the question regarding the two different people claiming to be King of France - that is in fact true but it doesn’t specify that it was in 1431, did this not confuse you to think it would be “cant tell” although I did spot the two different people claiming to be the King.
    Thanks in advance!

    • @rakeshjoshi1464
      @rakeshjoshi1464 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, it is not mentioned anywhere that in 1431, two people wanted to be king. So, what is the correct answer?

    • @aarnamishra5917
      @aarnamishra5917 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know this is late but I'm glad somebody else picked up on this! It is only mentioned that Joan of Arc was burned in 1431, however it is not mentioned at all when the two different people claimed to be king, so since we don't have that information presented to us, shouldn't it be can't tell? I have just started studying for the UCAT and would appreciate any available help.

    • @KharmaMedic
      @KharmaMedic  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Eden no problem!
      I don't think there's such a thing as preparing too early. You can always start earlier and do less questions or hours per day its totally a personal thing. You just want to make sure you don't burn out or get too bored of practicing 1-2 weeks before your UKCAT because then you won't do much efficient practice in those last weeks. I recommend 4-5 weeks because I think that's enough and you can do intensive revision for that period of time without getting too burned out but really it depends on the person! See how you feel :) QR video has some great editing and jokes (imo) so I'm excited to release it!

As I thought it would be false because it says that when "food is plentiful, the territory can be smaller," so I thought it meant that plays a role in determining the territory.

This will be the third time I have sat the UKCAT.... just one of those tests I don’t like at all but feeling so much better about it! I still have 2 weeks to prepare 🤞. Those questions you looked at were for quite short passages. Would you say the majority of passages are like that or are they more like the longer ones? I know you have said skip long passages and come back to them previously... thank you! 🙌🙌

    • @KharmaMedic
      @KharmaMedic  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Happy you like them! There's definitely a mix of long and short so don't only be expecting a specific length!

      Kharma Medic ahhhh ok thank you!! When did you start doing timed questions? I know that you should work on accuracy first and then time yourself but I am just not sure when I am ready 😂. I usually take about 40-50 seconds for like a 30 second question so I am close.... 😂

    Thank you so much for the great tips! VR is the most difficult section in my opinion but I find AR really easy 😂 Btw, what resources did you use to prepare for the UKCAT and what scores did you usually get in your mocks? I'm using medify and did 6 mocks out of 7 and I'm getting around 650-670 average. I have my UKCAT in 4-5 days (it's on the 31st) and I'm really worried about my results although I did all the practice questions 😓 Your videos are a great help! 👍🏻

    • @KharmaMedic
      @KharmaMedic  5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I used 1250 questions book, official UKCAT past papers, and a 2 day online Kaplan course. My mock scores are on my UKCAT Notes in the smaller red tables. Fingers crossed the exam comes easier than the mocks! Keep on practicing and keep your composure. Let me know how it goes :)

    Could you do Medify VR questions? The passages there can be quite long and if I'm honest, I haven't seen such short passages on Medify although I'm sure it's possible. But just wanted to see how one would approach long passages with only 30 seconds to do the questions.... :/ please help

    Does anyone know which of the questions were correct and which were wrong? I mean if he got any of those questions wrong then it would show that his way of thinking was incorrect for that question. It should be cleared out if he would have to change his mindset for any of these questions in order to get them correct

    On medify the verbal reasoning passages are huge compared to the ones in test?!

    • @KharmaMedic
      @KharmaMedic  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey sib! The UKCAT practice tests posted online are from many years ago so may not reflect the actual test as you will see it today. The ones you see on medify may be longer or shorter and it's very hard to gauge. The important thing is that it is close to the actual test and gives you enough practice to make sure you are ready. In my experience, practicing with longer and harder passages or questions has only helped me.
      So don't worry too much if things are harder in practice! That way on test day you'll be pleasantly surprised with easier questions 😁

      Hey Steve!
      I'm not sure if you are referring to the real test or my AR video.
      In the real test I finished every question for all sections with time left to review flagged questions.
      In my AR video I don't think I did every single question but I did most of them!

    • @steveoparemi9119
      @steveoparemi9119 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kharma Medic So you did all the questions within 2 hours??

    • @KharmaMedic
      @KharmaMedic  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah! I did all the questions on the test and had time to review the ones I had flagged :D I don't think making SURE you finish is always the best strategy for each person. My general strategy on tests is to blaze through them and then go back to review the most difficult ones. On the UKCAT since all questions are worth the same and some are WAY harder than others I would always try to see all the questions so I could do the easier ones first and then go back to the harder ones.
