    I'm a nurse and would like to do medicine. During my nursing placements I've always wished that nurses and doctors explained things in a way in which we could understand their thought processes to understand how they came to a particular conclusion or resolution for a clinical situation. Hence what u r doing through these ucat videos is exactly the technique for people to get better at doing ucat questions. Thank you!!

    20:07 I think it’s “D” because Cameron is avoiding the situation and making the patient deal with something they shouldn’t be doing placing them in an even more uncomfortable situation

    • @waterbottle164
      @waterbottle164 ปีที่แล้ว

      I completely agree, especially since the patient made it clear that many people felt uncomfortable so i should only think approaching the senior doctor in question would make them feel worse. I also think the fact that the patient came to another member of staff (or medical student) shows that they didnt want to confront the doctor.

    It usually says “Medify scores are a guide only, and neither guarantee nor substitute UKCAT scores”.

    • @KharmaMedic
      @KharmaMedic  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Medify is a great resource to practice and prepare yourself for the UKCAT. But of course the score you get on any one mini mock or full mock is just the score for that test. It could or could not be similar to the questions you get on exam day! Take all scores with a pinch of salt imo. It's good to track progress but it's not a direct indication of your score on exam day 😊

      If it will make you feel better to start early then go for it! A bit of practice every now and again is only going to help. But definitely hard core studying in the last month and a bit :)

      @@hasoonnine in all honestly Medify is a confidence booster wasn’t realistic to what my acc test was like (Medify was much easier) - I’d advise doing at least one or two of the UCAT official Q banks at the start and get a realistic idea of the difficult, build your skills on Medify then during the last 2 weeks before finish with the rest of the UCAT Q banks

      Kharma Medic I got a 2390 which isn't great but I did a lot better in my qr and ar which are my worst sections (the sections where I replayed your videos on it multiple times). I panicked as soon as I started so my usual 700-800 scores in vr and dm were below 600. I still have a lot of options so I'm staying positive. Any tips on exam stress??
      Also to the Kaplan crash course isn't worth it compared you. Kicking myself because I didnt find you earlier. Get more ads and exposure please!!

    • @aciel197

      I know I'm not in the place to give out advice but use your 1 min reading sessions to convince yourself that everything is going okay/ calm down. If you use to hate everything in your existence like I did in the time between vr and dm, you're probably not going to do well in your best section :(
