They need to buff grip, it's annoying as hell having guns like this that have insane recoil but the attachment that's meant to help is absolutely useless!
Bro the gun is shit, there’s a reason I never see anyone using it. There’s literally no reason to use this paper gun over the MP40 or Thompson, you can just put rapid fire on the MP40 for example and have more fire rate than the Waffe but with better recoil and less shots to kill.
It still aggravates me to no end why they switched this and the PPSH. I was really hoping going into this game the PPSH would look and sound like it did from World at War 😑☹️😡.

Andres Correa i know how to control recoil, just that this dudes lucky in those clips. It didnt jump right or left in them. I have horrible luck so everytimr i shoot it jumps

For high recoil weapons in past CoD games I had no problem controlling but this game, even the most accurate weapon(except Bar) is hard to control because of flinch and the bs that is shoot first die first
Andres Correa this game sadly has random recoil in it. So it's impossible to master any weapon in this game. In previous cods where recoil was predictable, if you could master the recoil of a high rof weapon, you will shred with it. For example scorpion evo from bo2. Right now severs are on peer to peer, meaning you play with people who are nearby, and sadly it also means one player hosts the whole game, leading to bad connections. When dedicated servers come back up connection will be much much better, though shoot first die first will still happen, it'll be a lot less common thankfully. I absolutely hate pouring 25 bullets into a dudes back just for him to turn around and 2 shot me with a ppsh.
When I tryed using the waffe I keep being forced to play gustav cannon. I was forced to learn how to snipe my enemies with it. Now I feel bad for killing snipers from a distance with it. :(

With hella good balance your talking out your ass the only blantantly overpowered thing was the mp40 and perhaps the stg44. Compared to ww2 waw got the ppsh41, BAR,FG42,mp40,tomson, Springfield, m1 grand, especially the MG42 all correct which in ww2 all are fucked up in some regard. Ww2 and a ww2 game is a joke
+Spite filled lungs am... WW2 has the best connection and hit detection after ghosts, IDK what you are on about... And none of the semi-auto weapons in WaW are accurate... all of them have 1200 RPM... basically a spam fest. The STG44 is 65RPM lower than in real life in WaW, The PPSh fires 25-38% faster than IRL, considering that IRL PPSh-41s fired between 900 and 1025 RPM, while in WaW the PPsh-41 fires at 1250 RPM... In WaW the bar has 345 RPM... and they were using the m1918A1 -> the most famous one which fires at 600RPM, so WWII go it right. The FG42 has two variants IRL a variant that shoots at 750RPM and a variant that shoots at 900RPM, so both WaW and WWII got it almost right, 937RPM in WaW and I think it was 800 RPM in WW2. the MP40 had a fire rate of between 500 and 550 in WaW it has 535 RPM it got that one right, WW2 didn't, so so far only 1 point to WaW. the thompson IRL has a few variations IRL, the M1928 which fires between 600 and 725 RPM, the M1919 which fires at 1500RPM and the M1A1 which fires at 700 RPM. In WW2 it's the M1928 and in game it has 838 RPM, while in WaW if I remember correctly it was the M1A1, but its fire rate is 800... both are NOT even close to IRL. So as you can see WaW got only 1 right -> MP40, so did WW2 -> Bar...
first I hated this gun due to the recoil, but then I got myself an heroic variant of the weapon. While checking the design out, I fell in love with it. Played it on gold in 3 days. This gun outguns almost every other weapon in cqb. Keep on doing these videos! Very well done
I always use this for objective game. I right now use it with armored division with ext. mag and steady aim and use a rocket launcher as my secondary and sticky grenade or satchel charge as lethal. Basically what I do in war. Operation Griffin and breakout: I stick close to the tank, when ever there's someone else at the other side, I use my rocket or satchel charge, and when they get close I blast em away with my waffe
Rhys Egner its okay to mispronounce a word if its in a different language. People from germany had trouble pronouncing the letter "a" in the name "Sam" when I went there
I've started using this gun quite a lot after getting burned out on the PPSH's boring consistency.... And I absolutely love it! It should be noted I almost exclusively play War, and it's just lovely for objective work with a suppressor. My shot definitely has to be on point though.
I just made a class with this gun. Mountain, extended mag, grip, and undercover. Good God. My new try hard class. Just make sure you've upgraded Mountain to lvl4. Silence is key
This is one of my favorite smgs because usually underestimate me. I use extended mags too but I don't use steady aim or quickdraw or even the grip. I use rapid fire and extended mags all the time and it works better. I may be crazy but I noticed with out quickdraw I am able to aim my gun faster coming out of sprint. I have no clue if its just me or if they really screw up quickdraw and fmj.
I'd like to add a correction on a previous video if I remember correctly, the PPSH in real life actually has RPM of 1000+ rounds a minute, so my question is why not just make the PPSH behave like itself and have stats like the waffe? And waffe have more similar stats to the in game PPSH? I don't understand the switch in roles? Even after they claim to have realism? In this situation gun balancing isn't even an argument because they could easily swap the two
Love this gun! Just picked it up just to try it and instantly fell in love with it. Up close and personal it melts anything in the game. Hip fire is insane! If you like fast paced game play try this thing out
I love this gun. I use it like a shotgun almost. It's one of the few guns that make rushing somewhat fun and more viable. Of course most games I'm still going to play against camping BAR users, but when I actually get into a fun lobby this is my go to gun.
Favorite SMGs 1. Grease Gun 2. Waffle 28 3. Type 100 4. PPSH 5. MP-40 Fuck the Thompson. Was my favorite SMG in WaW but it feels really bad in this game. This is the 2nd to last smg I need for diamond. My mp40 is close. The way I been going for gold is using the weapons I have heroics of first , then epics , then if there’s any left in the category that needs gold I just try to craft an epic or just use the base variant. In my head that makes the most sense to me
I remember using the mountain division with a Springfield or Kar 98 with this as my secondary weapon, so that if I get caught off guard really close up, I could just chew them up with the high fire rate, and if they were out of range, id just quickscope them
Love this gun. Not sure why they didn't make the Type 100 the rapid firing SMG and the waffe taking the accurate low damage output role. But whatever, I still love the look and feel of how the weapon plays.
Suggestion: when demonstrating recoil, you always empty two magazines, which is great. But, especially on weapons like this one that have so much side to side kick, it would be great if you could use two different colors for the two separate recoil plots. Thanks for all your hard work on your videos!!!
I found in the beta this gun felt like the automatipro from bf1. Point in general direction of enemy. Pull trigger. Move to next target. It was super easy mode. Aiming not necessary. After the beta I haven’t played with it much. Used it in the pre made class till I got some other things I wanted and haven’t really touched it since.
I like this gun, no where near the best SMG, but I actually really like using it as my secondary in a sniper class. The fact that it is meant to be used so close up helps cover any negatives of using a sniper. Hey Ace, what is your opinion on the "Rifleman" basic training in this game?
I play more of an obj waffe class so I like to run, Armored Division, with ex mags, grip, QuickDraw, and primed as basic training. I do like to avoid primed bc it is a big staple (that's just me) but the armored divisions take less explosive dmg helps and I also find all 3 attachments for me help a lot too.
M Doak try trading out quickdraw for steady aim. Within its effective range it's better to hip fire anyway and i could even melt some people at mediumish range too
joseph I probably forgot to mention that I'm a PC player 😂. I have QD on all my classes, it honestly feels over powered to me but I will try it and see how it feels. Thanks for the suggestion

These good because got gold for GG, type100, Sh41, sten & mp-40 so next is waffle 28 for challenge without airborne my loadout is infantry w prime so get 4 attachments
While the representation of many of these weapons are questionable, I do appreciate how the devs depict weapons with side mounted magazines as being held correctly by the handguard, not by the magazine itself- doing so could damage or jam your weapon when firing.
Thompson is my fav smg i think followed by mp40 and ppsh then type and grease gun. So my least fav yet i used this a bit in war and up close in war this thing is very powerful and helpful in war i think that is its best game mode. Still not sure what smg i should use i often use the Thompson but still not sure what to use. I also do think the Thompson can probably do most of what the waffe can do just a little shittier, and do almost everything else better than the waffe. Id like to see the pistols or lewis gun next
CarterTheEqual Gaming Channel hell yeah, I've been using the MG-15 and that things a monster. Only bad thing is it's recoil. It's kinda high but easy to master.
I think the Waffe may be bugged. While using rapid fire, it seems as if the bullets do not hit the target, even if I'm dead on target. Once i take rapid fire off, it goes right back to melting. I'm not sure if this is an actual thing, but it feels horrible. (Could be a variant bug, i use the Soggy)
Can't control this damn gun for the life of me. More often than not what happens is I'll bump into someone at close range but not point blank, start shooting, land four hit markers in quick succession, and then my barrel goes flying off into the stratosphere and they just turn and drop me with a laser.
Razor yep, spot on. I got this gold yesterday and so far, it's the second hardest to get gold. Recoil is way to random to get headshots. The damage is way too weak aswell. It's terrible in core and hardcore
This gun is a total POS. Only way I got headshots was to imagine Condrey's bald coconut on every enemy and my blind rage willed me to shoot the MF in the head. My K/D dropped from 1.35 to 1.20 getting this marshmallow shooter gold. Sawed-off I can't even get 1 shot kills in HC mode unless I'm right on top of the guy.
War is the only thing keeping from putting this game disk in the microwave. Have you tried getting headshots with the Bren? By the time my seconds shot lands, I'm dead. I tried using it on HC and even with quickdraw it takes a ridiculous amount of time to aim down sight. I'm not a hater and have loved the COD franchise but the last two games have made me quit (non-war) mode MP for good. Glad I didn't have to get the bazooka challenges. That would have driven me insane.
I was wondering how good the gunslinger perk would be on a lot of these weapons as the sprint out speed time is so slow. Has Ace done a video on it in detail?
For me recoil is no real problem even on gustav i do ok bit i prefer to not play gustav at all as a rainbow player its super easy to control and for me it melts at long ranges just as good
I agree with the other people in here, it makes no sense why the guns do not behave like the real life versions and basically switched weapons in their role like the PPSH and this gun

I love this gun. With how small most of the maps play, its easy to run & gun as long as you stay away from longer sight lines.
It depends on the swey if its gonna kick left or right. When the sway is "down" and on Its way up left, it kicks up left when you start shooting.
Maybe TH-camrs will finally will stop calling it the “Woff” now that you pronounced it correctly.

Hey Ace, for future episodes, could you include the hipfire while moving/shooting? I think that's a better way to gauge the effectiveness of hipfire.

I think the Waffe may be bugged. While using rapid fire, it seems as if the bullets do not hit the target, even if I'm dead on target. Once i take rapid fire off, it goes right back to melting. I'm not sure if this is an actual thing, but it feels horrible. (Could be a variant bug, i use the Soggy)

Also @Ace does Gunslinger fix the slow sprinout times of COD WW2? That's the only real thing that bugs me.
It only helps sprintout time when you break your sprint by hip-firing

i like to use the set with what was the calibber bullet attachment to shred enemys more extended mags of course grip to reduce recoil and optic
Can't control this damn gun for the life of me. More often than not what happens is I'll bump into someone at close range but not point blank, start shooting, land four hit markers in quick succession, and then my barrel goes flying off into the stratosphere and they just turn and drop me with a laser.
Razor yep, spot on. I got this gold yesterday and so far, it's the second hardest to get gold. Recoil is way to random to get headshots. The damage is way too weak aswell. It's terrible in core and hardcore
This gun is a total POS. Only way I got headshots was to imagine Condrey's bald coconut on every enemy and my blind rage willed me to shoot the MF in the head. My K/D dropped from 1.35 to 1.20 getting this marshmallow shooter gold. Sawed-off I can't even get 1 shot kills in HC mode unless I'm right on top of the guy.
IceIn MyCoffee I felt the same way about the Waffe 28. Luckily I played War so my KD wasn't affected but I'm still never using the gun again
War is the only thing keeping from putting this game disk in the microwave. Have you tried getting headshots with the Bren? By the time my seconds shot lands, I'm dead. I tried using it on HC and even with quickdraw it takes a ridiculous amount of time to aim down sight. I'm not a hater and have loved the COD franchise but the last two games have made me quit (non-war) mode MP for good. Glad I didn't have to get the bazooka challenges. That would have driven me insane.
Razor you have to know where the gun jumps and that's at the stomach area not the chest or legs shoot the stomach and the gun will recoil to the head.

isn't the mp-28, it's a fictician super rapid fire called waffle 28, the real mp-28 or mp-18 is in Battlefield 1

I was wondering how good the gunslinger perk would be on a lot of these weapons as the sprint out speed time is so slow. Has Ace done a video on it in detail?
For me recoil is no real problem even on gustav i do ok bit i prefer to not play gustav at all as a rainbow player its super easy to control and for me it melts at long ranges just as good

I agree with the other people in here, it makes no sense why the guns do not behave like the real life versions and basically switched weapons in their role like the PPSH and this gun
