Welcome to Gun Guides. This is the series where I go into great detail with all of the stats of every weapon in CoD WW2. I cover all of the in depth stats like Damage, Range, Rate of Fire, Time to Kill, and much more. In today's episode I cover the GPMG. I hope you enjoy!

Constructive criticism: it would be very helpful to see what the ADS time would be in this series with quickdraw and not just the gun alone!
I think he doesn't do it because QuickDraw isn't very useful this year
It's a useful attachment...it's just not necessary to show the improvement.
Quick draw is extremely useful with guns like lmgs. especially for people who crouch walk, prone crawl, or walk around the map. ADS should be put on all guns reviews because even if the gun is in the same category of the type of gun the ads vary which means it will effect the Time to Kill (TTK) especially from long ranges. With that being said Ace literally says at 6:25 "quickdraw is a must have with all lmgs". Begs the question did you even watch the video Rifat K before commenting your opinion?
This gun need a buff, a big one
Decrease the reload time or increase it’s magazine sive

Pham Son mg42 is trash. The Lewis stomps every other lmg ass. If you got the Lewis, the other lmgs are pointless
DarkInfernape65 Even though stat wise the lewis is superior, I like the Bren the most, followed closely by the mg42. I guess it comes down to personal preference.

DarkInfernape65 i too like the gpmg but other people are right, they need to either speed up the reload speed or increase the magazine size, to make it a viable choice over the other LMG's.

It's winter Carentan...haven't you played it?
Well it wasn't available to everyone at the release of the game and it's not voted for all that often in pubs. Plus, I think a lot of people avoid the clusterfuck of those buildings on Carentan like the plague. Personally, if winter Carentan comes up, there's a pretty good chance I'm shopping for another lobby -- but I know some people love it. I think Gustav would make more sense anyway since it's a massive map with extremely clear lines of sight (not that it isn't also a complete bed shitter of a map like most in this game).
He could do that but the reason I think he doesn’t is because there’s no real accurate way to figure out the ranges on gustav, also there’s no straight level line of sight where caratan has the nice and long street
Sledgehammer needs to buff this by
a.) make the reload time significantly faster and keep the small mag
b.) increase the mag size and ext mag size significantly and keep the slow reload
note: if they buffed both reload and mag, then this gun would be op. either one or the other is fine.
AdidasBoi don't buff the mag significantly. Maybe changed it to 50 and 75 with extended
David Wyatt I would say increasing the magazine by 66% is very significant, but that might just be me.
now that they’ve buffed the reload time, you can use this quite well. hustle also really helps

Love this gun in hardcore but you have to be adept to using lmgs to be good with it. That means attacking long range and keeping your enemies at a distance. Fast fire rate makes it sneaky good at hipfire if you really need it but in most cases ads as much as you can.
I have diamond MGs and I hate the damn thing. Sure its a laser, but I find the MG42 with rapid fire gets the job done more often. It may kick more, but never enough to lose to a GPMG.
Dgtldead I respect it. Mg42 is definitely better. I'm just saying that this gun in the right hands is still a viable option. But it's definitely not the best one.
If it wasn't for the reload time, this gun would easily be my favorite gun. I barely touch it now.
Either give it way more rounds without extended mags, or decrease that reload time.

zaxxxppe zaxxxppe So you are saying going prone deploying the bipod reloading the LMG then releasing the bipod then standing up ALL while being exposed and easier to kill is a better option than moving while reloading? As apposed to moving with hustle while reloading?
yes, All that you said lasts less than 5 seconds
Extended + hustle are almost required. But when you run that and a grip the things amazing. Good iron sights are always a plus

If you REALLY want to reduce the reload time, I guess you can combine bipod with hustle.

I liked this gun when first released but not anymore after mg15 was buffed. Mg15 is much superior weapon now
This guns needs at least 80 rounds in the mag with extended mag...
I actually think this is the better fix. You'd still burn through 80 rounds pretty quick but at least you'd have time to plan your reload and could lay down suppressing fire, which is what LMGs are supposed to do. Buffing a super slow reload time to a slow reload time isn't going to make a 4 shot weapon much more useable -- might as well just use a rifle or one of the higher damage LMGS.
I'd like to see what an 80 round magazine would look like for this thing. (I'd seen it IRL a while back ago and the actual magazine is terribly designed to the point that I think it would need to be a completely different design to hold even like you could here).
Then it would make the mg15 obsolete

This gun just shows how the create a class is such a step back in this WW2. As Ace said "there isn't a lot of freedom with this gun". I wish they wouldn't have messed with the pick ten.
Can you do the MG15 next? Since this weapon is really similar it’d be nice to see the stats of the MG15.

This is an AR with LMG handling. I love this weapon. This is sooo much fun to use.
Hi guys I'm from the future and the gpmg has been buffed and without hustle reloads in about 2 seconds and with hustle and bipod reloads almost instantly
I use this on mountain class with lookout as my basic training. Extended mags and reflex sight it’s great
using the mg15 and the gpmg back to back really shows the difference in recoil. although the mg15 was buffed the gpmg has much more assault rifle like recoil and is more predictable. if the reload speed wasnt awful this would be the best gun out of the Winter Seige event.

sure it helps alot, but if you are not already bipodded, it takes a lot of time to set that up too, and without haveing meassured it myself, its my feeling that most of the time you spend as much if not more time setting up the bipod, and takeing it down again, as you save in reload time. If you are in bipod mode alrady, it is however a good idea to take the chance and just reload instead of going to cover before you reload.

To bad a got a heroic variant for this trash weapon. It really needs a reload speed buff to be able to compete with the MG 15.
often you can, but not when you really need it. and it still takes time both for the prone animation, the setting bipod up, the takeing it down and getting back up. I sometime do this too, but I honestly think if you add all this up, its more placebo that its faster.
I guess they were going for a lmg/rifle hybrid. In that they combined STG damage and mag size with basically the same ADS time, hipfiring, and crap reload of an lmg. Not sure what the point of this gun was. The MG15 and 42 have the same damage, but much bigger capacity.
In before the comments saying this is a great rifle.
All the Winter Siege weapons besides the Sten are a dumpster fire. The existing weapons are far better and this update was NOTHING more than them introducing reject weapons they thought were good for the release but scratched them but then recanted and they turned garbage into something people would fawn all over.

also I had a tough time getting the GPMG diamond because I couldn’t get bloodthirsties with it (Headshots were sooo easy). I was relieved when I finally got diamond on it
FutbolFan95 eh, the sten is far more accurate than the Mp40. The inconsistent recoil really puts me off the weapon.
In your maps exposed series can you cover the best places to hold off
Idk what patch in sitting at right now but this is my favorite gun by far. Recoil is perfect and damage is insane. However I only play hard core and I don't have a problem with hustle.
My reflex site is bugged.. anyone else? When I change the reticle to a different one, it 'stacks' on top of the default reticle. Super annoying.

I like this gun. My second favorite after the MG42. Just prestiged it. I will be beasting if they buff it.
This gun is, interesting to say at least. It's an Assault Rifle LMG hybrid.
It should have either a faster reloading time or a bigger magazine.

The Bren; something to note, it was an OP gun on launch day
I've already got this gold it was the first lmg I got gold id recommend hardcore for this as it is a one to 2 shot kill and the best play style for this gun is camping hold down a line or 2 of sites and reload after every 2 kills and you should have fun with this gun my only complaint for it is it needs a bigger clip period the reload doesn't bother me as this is not a gun to be aggressive with I think if with extended mag it brought it up to 100 it would be perfect
got this gun day one the new weapons dropped.......... its not a level2 yet lol
I love this gun since it got the reload buff but i have the capo verde variant with the extremely bad iron sight
I really enjoy this weapon. The reload time doesent bother me tbh. The only thing that bothers me is the low ammo in a magazine. They should of made it 45 ammo by default and 80 with extended mag.
Yeah considering the GPMG has 2 fewer rounds with extended than the Lewis does standard, that reload time is nuts
The reload animation is SOO cool
F sThis is the only LMG that forces me to use The Armored Division so I can use the bipod to reload faster snd instead of using Hustle and wasting a basic training, so instead I use the Forage right this gun if I choose to use it at all especially since the MG15 is like a GPMG without the major downsides.

It is a very good gun, I really like it. But the reload time ruins it. High fire rate, small mag and the slowest reload. They need to do something. I think they could do one of 2 things (and I have a 3rd option too)
1) make reload faster
2) make mags bigger
or, as a third not optimal option, make ext mags more usefull, so its more like some of the others where the ext mag brings it up around 100 bullets. it would be a crutch attachment, but at least you had a chance to make the gun useable if you wanted to use that extra attachment on it.
I recently got the Heroic version and with grip and in the right hands, its a laser beam & im not exaggerating
Please do the snipers next starting with the katabin and work your way down to the kar98k
Love this gun with rapid fire, use it like a burst fire and you can really upset some people
leave reload time as it is and buff hustle reload speed to 3 blank

It needs to be buffed to at least a 42 round magazine and at least a second knocked off of the reload time and it should be a great gun
Now that I got diamond for this gun I don’t think I’ll ever touch it again unless they buff something to do with either reload time or magazine capacity

Losing the one and only basic training slot in order to make a gun viable is a big nope for me. I’m not even going to try to get this one, which means it will probably show up in a supply drop.
can you make tips and tricks that relate to all cod games that you have used in transiting to playing different cod games.
They buffed the reload time and with hustle and extended mags all you need to do is know how to use it right
It would be nice to know the reload time when bipod is deployed since LMGs reload considerably faster.

Ever since I saw the ammount of rounds for that slow of a reload
Time I knew itd have a lot of problems, getting killed mainly because youre trying to reload.
If they want to leave the reload speed alone, they should give it AR style handling. Faster ADS and sprintout time.
Give it a better mag so it can compete with the LMGs.
Give it a better reload so you can move it to the Assault Rifles and move the Gewehr 43 into the trash.
I wonder how long the sight lines are at the ends of the maps where you escort the tank on operation griffin and operation breakout. Oh and BTW @5:19 *B IS RETREATING!!*
Was so excited when I completed this gun's special order, and was beyond disappointed to discover that it's hot garbage. No upsides to be found with this weapon, thank god it's not required for the Chrome camo grind...
Can you do a mg15 ? Extended mags grip and quick draw I am having my best games with it, it just melts at middle to long range and does well close range!

If you put the gun on a bipod it's reload is faster not exactly sure how faster but it's faster
if u use armored division u wont have 2 use hustle asa perk because u can reload faster with the bipod.

i saw the vid I like ur channel ur 100 % right stats wise, its just certain modes in situations with a little spawn awareness can help with finessin that bipod.

The GPMG Is ok till you need to reload!. Which totally destroys any chance of wanting to use the gun!
The single best thing about this gun is that you don't need to finished the camo challenges to get diamond etc...

I disagree, I fell like this weapon needs assault rifle reload speed, 3 seconds is still way to long for this weapon considering how fast it shoots, and it's mag size, this would balance it perfectly imo.
Damage should be bumped to 35 or It should have an higher headshot multiplier

Wait until you get your handon a Puck a Punched Stinger or VMG 1927 in Zombies.
Those 2 have lots of ammunition.
Stinger
Pros=does a f*u*c*kton of damage and is pretty accurate.
Cons=its handling is slow as shit and the rate of fire is low and the movement speed is low as well.
VMG 1927.
Pros=Shots a Hell lotta faster the Stinger and has more ammunition as well. Also its handling and movement speed are better
Cons=Its damage isn't even close to the Stinger and it has some recoil to it but it's still controllable.
Ace quick question I understand armored division let's you reload faster using the bipod and expeditionary let's you use your tacticals and lethals faster. Do the other divisions allow you to do something faster or better that it doesn't tell you?
Well Infantry gives the extra attachment slot and (properly leveled) gives you more reserve ammo upon spawn. At Level 4 it also lets you strafe faster when aiming down sights. (essentially Stalker or the Stock attachment)
