I believe yours was the first fishing video I ever watched on TH-cam, maybe 4 or 5 yrs ago. It was early spring or late winter and you landed a mixed bad of fresh water fish. It actually inspired me to get fishing again. Now I kayak fish (Hobie PA12) 5 or 6 days a week during the season here in Ontario, Canada 🍁. Trout, walleye, pike, largemouth and smallmouth bass.

Bought a few dozen metal jigs on TEMU months ago and caught numerous fish on them…kingfish, yellow jacks, snapper, sea bass, weakfish, blues , grunts…no issues

Dude! What's crazy is my Temu tackle just came in and I was going through it while watching your video. So happy to see some of the things I was going to test out this year really work! Last year was the first time using some Temu lures in the salt water and I had much success, catching striped bass. I just bought a few things for the kayak and new pliers this time as well. All look great. Thanks so much Chris, you are awesome! Tight lines brother!

Sea-money nice to see you in the area i fish that handicap dock for many years. You can catch a lil bit of everything alot of people fish the other side of the road for bass just a heads up. If you like white perch fishing there up there now at that handicap dock you was on.

Did you see any reel/rod combos you considered buying from Temu?
you can definitely get some OK stuff on there, but you really get what you pay for and it usually goes to shit pretty quick. id probably just look for a combo deal at dicks or something before grabbing something from there if you're budget minded.

Ironically over the past year or 2 I’ve been leaning more toward gulp on jig heads . The rigs always produce. Always… that last one with the clip: never ever seen that. I have to try casting that one for a tide. Thanks

you can burn line and tell how it is made. flouro melts to black and leaves some charring. mono bubbles and burns more cleanly. it's probably not pure flourocarbon for that money, but for that price you can test it. my 30 lb flouro from ali express is terrible. it might break at 30 lbs [doubt it] but that's after it's stretched out from 15 lbs of pressure. it's probably one of those things where you can pick and choose the right spots and save a ton of money. i will probably look into a cheap ultralight combo from this retailer, for example, and pay next to nothing. sinkers, bobbers, cheap mono, i'm sure there's a ton of ways to save money, especially in freshwater
